If you're in the Lake of the Ozarks it's probably the best quality grocery store to go to. We did have an odd thing happen. A lady ahead of us had her card declined and she left. When we got home we discovered the checker charged us for and bagged that lady's ham. When we discovered that and called called 20 minutes later to see if we could return it, they talked to the checker and she didn't even remember anyone who left all there stuff at the checkout when their card declined happened. read more

Dierbergs is one of our local grocery chains in the St. Louis area, so I shop at several of their locations on a regular basis. My son even works for one near us. We find Dierbergs to be consistently superior to other chains, but I had never seen a Dierbergs like this one. We've vacationed at the lake many times over the years, but this was the first time I had been inside the Dierbergs Lake View location. Wow. First, there's the obvious. The view. They have an area upstairs where you can eat premade food that you purchase there, and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. Try getting that at any other grocery store. They carry the regular things that you'd expect from a grocery store, but they also have a lot of high end items - seafood, cheeses you'd expect from a specialty store, and some very nice wine selections. Ultimately, it is a grocery store, so they have a wide variety of provisions. No matter how long you're staying in the area, you can find everything you could possibly need for your entire trip. We like to hit a store as soon as we arrive in town to pick up some breakfast options and snacks for our trip, and anything we may have forgotten to pack, and this place is perfect for that. It's also great if you want to put together a nice charcuterie with wine back at your rental. read more

Still a great view for sunsets but covid has ruined the ability for table service here. Now you get food from the deli counter downstairs and carry it up to the tables. Bar service is has weekend and limited service now. Our server Pam was great and sympathetic to our concerns. Nice store but some of the items we purchased were not in the computer system and the staff was very incompetent in figuring them out.

My friends and I were going hiking in Ha Ha Tonka State Park and needed lunch provisions, so I suggested Dierberg's grocery store. I remember it being such a great option the last time I'd visited Osage Beach, and I was not disappointed. Its selections were as bountiful as I remember, and EVERYONE was so helpful! The manager (Ro Witt, I believe) was up at the front and directed us to all the aisles where we'd find what we were looking for; Loretta in Health and Beauty helped us with our supplements questions and was a hoot to talk with; and the two ladies in the Deli section were SO helpful--one came out from behind the counter to help us locate the specific types of sandwiches we were looking for. The three of us ended up with a sushi plate, a chicken wrap, and a market-made roast beef sandwich. We also picked up fresh fruit and--of course--two silly soaps to give as souvenirs. Jack checked us out up front and was lovely to chat with as he rang up our purchases. We're all from Kansas City, and my two friends kept remarking how impressed they were with Dierberg's offerings and how wonderful everyone was on staff. And that's why I'll return to Dierberg's every time I'm in the area! read more

Dierberg's is my regular grocery store in St. Louis. I love this Lake of the Ozarks location. The store is new, huge, well planned out, and is mindful about who is shopping at their store. They have great Lake themed merchandise around every corner. Items needed for a day on the water or Lakeside cook outs are front and center here at Dierberg's Market. This location is one of the best grocery stores and definitely the best Dierbergs I've ever been. Modern and stylish with very functional aisles and displays, the store has everything one could need for a Lake vacation. Great produce and liquor departments and an outstanding deli and hot foods section. The gourmet cheese section is my favorite part. Excellent butcher counter, seafood counter and bakery. They even offer a little restaurant upstairs with a spectacular view of the lake. Live music on weekends and lots of specials make it a fun little place to stop for lunch. Employees are very nice, helpful, efficient. You're always warmly greeted and treated kindly. This store and the complex its in are welcome additions to Osage Beach. read more

Update: 7/27 Happy hour from 5-7pm, food specials, a great view, live music and $2 Buds!! One of my wife's favorite, okay, ONLY place to shop. It is a big store and can be overwhelming but stop and ask someone for help, they'll go out of their way. They have a restaurant, freshly made sushi (Martin is awesome) deli, salad bar, margarita bar at certain times, huge beer barn, and all the other regular grocery store stuff. read more

I absolutely love this store! Tremendous selection of groceries, deli meats & cheese, and alcohol. They even have a sushi chef there in the store. I haven't tried the sushi but it looks really good. There is a restaurant upstairs that overlooks the lake, and if you just want to get some food to go you can order at the front or back of the store. Rather disappointed with the BBQ brisket though. Had almost zero smoked flavor. Was in town for a bachelor party, and referred all the guys to Dierbergs for their shopping and booze needs. I wish we had these in Colorado. read more

I will tell you what, I recently visited Missouri with my husband, it was my first time, and I thought I was going to starve, after driving from St Luis to Osage Beach. All I saw on the way was Taco Bell, Chik-Filet, McDonald's, BBQ joints and other horrid random fast food eats. I thought it was hopeless. Low and behold... this gem right across the street from our hotel! This place was my saving grace! A fabulous market with plenty of fresh and organic eats. This fresh market has a little bit of everything. They also have thee biggest liquor department I have ever seen in my life! An endless selection of almost anything you can think of. I must add, the liquor department manager is a fabulous gentleman, such a nice guy. He was very friendly and knowledge, great disposition. Thank you sir for all your help! All in all, everyone we encountered at this market was extremely friendly and you can't beat the selection in the area. If you're into fresh foods and/or organic this is the place for you. read more

I usually enjoy shopping at the Dierberg market- not today:( signs were at the door how to shop, only 1 person per household - regular crap stuff. as, i was getting in line to shop in lane 12 after 4 pm- the customer in front of me moved up a bit- they had gotten off the x and the cashier was rude - made a big issue to move back - yack yack yack she was a total ass. i moved to the other lane, if the store doesnt want customers close up and go home. i may shop there again; but not any way soon. if the register person had of talked to me that way i would have left the cart for the old hag to put back herself. she was close to my age and knows better than to be that rude. very disappointed :( prices are up too, really not competive as far as i am concerned - very sad. read more

Yeah, five stars. For a Dierbiergs. This is the kind of place where you walk in, look around, then go back outside to make sure you're still in the middle of Missouri. In a million years, I can't imagine how they could be making money at this place with such an unbelievable, HUGE selection of products. This store could provide groceries for New York City. They even offer a map for newbies. We went in Saturday to watch the sunset from the Lakeview café upstairs. There were two or three other tables who came evidently for the same reason, plus one other person out on the deck with me taking pictures. Alas the sunset was disappointing, but we still had a great time. They offer wine "tastings" which really means smaller pours for much less $$. We went for a few half-glasses. They came out as pretty much full glasses (4 oz pours). I guess the waiter did it himself. I noted this and he said, "Yeah, I fixed you up." It was obvious he really wanted everyone he dealt with to have a good time, so big props for this. We didn't try the food, but we did ask a lady downstairs about the breakfast. She said they have a method of, if I'm remembering right, quick-freezing the meals, then heating them up for customers to take upstairs. Okay, sounds like a warmed up microwave meal, but she was convincing that the quality was there, so no doubt we'll be back to try it sometime. There were samples of all kinds of stuff all around, plus a real wine tasting of a few bottles that were kind of not so good, but cheap. Anyway, who does a wine tasting at 6:00 on a Saturday? We'll take it. My MIL bought a bottle, even. Up front there are free rides for the kids, so if you have toddlers, that would be a little bit of heaven. I don't know that this store was necessary for Osage Beach, but we'll take it. read more

Grocery shopping here makes me feel happy. Everything is always fresh, the staff is always friendly, and I love the product variety. My kids beg me to shop here so they can play on the free kids rides by the front door. Also, thank you time a billion for having the bathroom by the front door. My kids almost always need to potty before we shop! I love the sushi stand and visit it at least once a week. The guy behind the counter is so friendly and helpful, no wonder he has worked here so long. The meat section is like no other grocer. The selection and freshness set them apart from all of the other chain grocery stores. I love that they take the time to offer seasoning suggestions and tips on cooking (when you ask). The salad bar always looks so delicious too! I can't say much for the dessert section. I have a huge sweet tooth and you'd think it would be my favorite, but each time I have purchased cookies, brownies or cakes, they seem dry or not super fresh. Maybe it's bad luck on my part. I continue to try new items every time I shop. Maybe I'll hit the dessert jackpot one of these days? read more

We purchased steaks, snow peas, fried chicken, slaw and potatoe salad. Other staples as well. Horrible most not edible. Except for the potatoe salad. Steaks tough as nails. Snow peas stringy and not able to chew. Tossed. Chicken tough over cooked. Slaw no flavor. I can't believe what we spent $105! We will never return. Take it from us-Gerbes 1000 times better. I just ate a "pulled beef" sandwich from the deli and it was basically like soft beef jerky covered in sauce... NOT a good or right texture for "pulled" smoked meat of any kind and it was cold. Don't waste your time... you're better off at McDonald's or better yet, go to Hy Vee. Their prices are high on deli items but I've never gotten bad food there. I wouldn't be so hard on Dierberg's for this but I expect a decent texture and temperature of food when served ESPECIALLY when there's a giant smoker in the parking lot covered in gratuitous signage for the product. This grocery store chain is deliberately designed to cater to a full of shit, "upscale" and generally classless and rude customer base with nothing better to do than waste money and such weak character that they have to go show off how special they are by shopping at special places where "those people" don't go. I get angry when I spend the very little money I have on something I need and find that it's of poor quality or worse. read more

I live in Camdenton and I will drive 40 miles round trip to shop here. This store is the best in the area and in fact the best in the whole state, it out does all others in the surrounding area in selection, customer service and standards. High-end, super clean store with an awesome produce section, gluten free section, deli, seafood/meat, bakery, floral, whole foods aisle and of course the biggest and best party center. Big wide aisles, so if some hillbillies have found their way in there and decide to hold family reunion while parking their carts sideways, you will still be able to maneuver around them. Awesome Terrace Restaurant with a nice view. The most knowledgeable store managers and friendliest cashiers I have ever ran across in my life. Be sure to stop by soda/coffee bar on the way in or better yet the Tiki-Bar for your $2 margarita's to sip on while shopping. read more

Nice store, great produce and awesome deli, and bbq. The ribs and chicken from Bob's bbq are better than the restaurants in town. Just beware of the salad bar, they weigh by the pound. My husband and I made salads and took them up the restaurant and it was expensive, cost over$21.00. read more
