My comforter and mattress cover were both cleaned well, and were ready for pickup a day before promised which was nice, but even with the discount they were running it was almost $20 to wash my mattress cover. Could've gotten a new one for probably not much more than that at a TJMaxx or similar place. I like that you drive up and they come outside to help you. We were preparing for a beach vacation to the Dominican Republic, and I dropped off a handful of dresses for me and a couple pair of linen pants and shirts for my husband. We had a week before the trip, but my schedule wasn't super generous that week - so was planning on express service. Got there and the lady, who was none too enthused for my arrival (though she had no other guests), informed me that there was no express and that it would be at least two days before my order was ready. I asked for dry cleaning and pressing on all items (even though not all of them needed laundered, why not be fresh and clean for the trip). I had one dress with a spot that I pointed out. She nodded her head and shoo'd me away. My husband picked up our $150 worth of linen vacation wear two days later and NOTHING was pressed. My white dress still had it's spot, you could still see the original lap wrinkles you get when you sit down, in all of the dresses. I'm going to say they did get dry cleaned because there were new wrinkles also.... But the most important point - NO PRESSING. I called the next day, and no one really cared, indicated that I probably didn't clearly state my request. Save your time, your generosity, and your money and go somewhere else. read more

Five quality cotton blouses were taken to Pride Cleaners on 151st in Olathe,KS. Four came back with twisted, ironed collars, missed button holes that were ironed that way. Employees couldn't even button the blouse correctly to get the seams on the collar and shoulders aligned. In my opinion, the quantity of clothing being serviced is causing major problems with the quality of service and care. Slow down and do it right. read more

Messed up my soft wash long-sleeve white button-up shirt from Banana Republic. I hardly even recognized it when they gave it back - I kept looking for the right one, then I realized it WAS the right one. It had just been washed or cleaned or pressed or starched in such a way as to totally get rid of the cool, relaxed "soft wash" feel I had bought the shirt for in the first place. They did manage to get a spot out, so for that try avoid a one star rating. read more

First time going to Pride Cleaners. Picked up 5 shirts and 2 dress pants and every single piece was wrinkled and oddly creased. I paid $30 for this, $30 for them to not do their job. I had to call three separate times until someone finally picked up. The guy was apathetic and didn't apologize. He said all he could do was offer a free cleaning. I told him I wanted a refund. It doesn't make sense for me to return items back to have them do an inferior job again. He said he couldn't give me a refund and that I would have to talk to a manager, who of course wasn't available and I would have to call back tomorrow. It makes my blood boil paying good money for lousy work. read more

Very unimpressed with Pride Cleaners. I dropped off my coat on Saturday March 9th to be cleaned and for some minor repairs in the lining. My initial visit took around 20 minutes which wouldn't have been a big deal, but I was planning on a short trip before work and ended up being late and it seemed the girl working had to redo my entry several times. I received a confusing call the next day asking me for permission to remove the fur lining from my coat in which another woman complained about the girl I had seen yesterday not doing so. Fair enough, but not information I need to hear and put me in an awkward position. When I went to go pick up my coat, I found that it had only been dry cleaned and the repairs had not been made to the lining. Again, the women blamed the girl who had taken my order and told me that she would be written up because of me. This made me feel very awkward and guilty about the whole experience. I didn't need retribution, I really just needed an apology and my coat. I finally received a call that my coat was ready and that I was going to receive a 20% discount. She again complained about her coworkers telling me she was "honestly shocked it was done so fast." I'm grateful for the 20% off, but all of this could have been accomplished without villainizing her coworkers. I really don't care about your internal issues. I will not be returning to Pride Cleaners and warn any future customers to triple check that the initial entry is correct before leaving. read more
