I had my wife call from her phone and he picked up, apologized and said he was embarrassed about the lack of promptness or customer service. We set another time for him to come out. I even marked the spot with a small red flag. The day came and went, he was a no show again. Now he won't respond to either of us, via text or email, or phone call. I have to assume he does not want to consider warranty work, if that's what it turned out to be. If you check his bio on Yelp, he references wanting to build good customer relationships and offer quality, reliable service. After our recent experiences I'd have to give Brandon and Better Earth a solid F minus, maybe even a zero. The funny thing is, when he came out this past summer he asked me why I've used so many different irrigation companies in the past few years. I told him it was because of reliability and honest service. Now we are having to mark Better Earth Solutions off our list and while they can do good work, I'd not recommend them to anyone. I even sent him a few notes about writing a negative review but wanted to give him a chance to "make it right" before I did. His silence spoke volumes. If you are looking for an irrigation company, I'd say hard pass on Better Earth.

What's worse is that he had already sprayed my yard, leaving me with dead, unsightly grass and no plan to repair or finish the work. Another contractor had stopped by with a lower estimate, and I wanted to understand the difference--especially since only one bed was multi-layered and the rest were basic. I was left with patches of dead grass and no work done. I also asked to keep the drawing for reference (since I now have to start over), but was told no. The owner claims I was difficult or indecisive--but I have screenshots that show I was respectful and collaborative throughout. I never changed the job scope drastically--I asked thoughtful questions as part of normal planning. In the end, I can't recommend this business based on how the situation was handled.
