Him and his team was able to remove 3 giant weeds growing on my front and back of the house. They also cleaned up the flowerbeds along as well. I think the value of it was fair and not overpriced. Unfortunately, my experience with RC Landscaping was deeply disappointing. I initially hired them to help with a landscaping project. The contractor came out, marked up my lawn, sprayed grass killer, and began preparing the area. Shortly afterward, another contractor happened to stop by and offered a quote. Out of fairness, I wanted to validate pricing not to haggle, just to understand. Instead of having a professional conversation, RC Landscaping took offense and walked off the job entirely. What's worse is that he had already sprayed my yard, leaving me with dead, unsightly grass and no plan to repair or finish the work. Now I'm left scrambling to fix damage I didn't ask for just because I wanted to make an informed decision. The photo attached shows the current state of my lawn. It's clear, marked, and dead. This wasn't how I expected the relationship to end. If you're considering RC Landscaping, beware: if you seek clarity on price, they might just leave you mid-project. RESPONSE : I initially contacted RC Landscaping to help design flower beds for my front yard. We discussed expectations, and he even came out to mark the yard and spray it to prep for install. While I hadn't delivered the materials yet, I was planning to, and we had a start date set. Things changed when I asked a simple question about pricing. Another contractor had stopped by with a lower estimate, and I wanted to understand the difference--especially since only one bed was multi-layered and the rest were basic. I wasn't trying to cancel the job; just asking for clarity. Instead of a conversation, the contractor called off the job entirely, citing a lack of trust. I was left with patches of dead grass and no work done. I also asked to keep the drawing for reference (since I now have to start over), but was told no. The owner claims I was difficult or indecisive--but I have screenshots that show I was respectful and collaborative throughout. I never changed the job scope drastically--I asked thoughtful questions as part of normal planning. In the end, I can't recommend this business based on how the situation was handled. Received a quote for resodding and flower bed extension and planting. I received another quote for the same jobs from another company and the other company was more expensive. I decided to wait on resodding until next year but I went ahead with the flower bed and planting my hydrangeas and it turned out so beautiful! They did a great job. There were other flowers that had been in the bed before that they tried to salvage and plant in other spots. I was super impressed with Rogelio's professionalism in this manner. We scheduled a visit to go over my landscape project and again, he arrived on time as promised. He even texted me to notify that he was on his way. After going over a fairly extensive landscape project we decided to sod the yard first as the lawn was in dire need of replacing old worn out grass. Less than 5 days later the prep work was done and the sodding was completed. I had 3 quotes for a French drain project. Roghilio's quote wasn't the lowest but I was impressed with his assessment and recommendations on how to tackle the job. I gave him the business. As the scheduled date approached he stayed in contact and sure enough showed up on time on the date scheduled. Roghilo stayed with his crew the whole time. Called to have them redo our entire yard. Chris answered the phone without saying the name of the Business, when I asked if it was RC LawnScaping he told me to F**** off and hung up. That was the entire conversation. They might do great work, I have no idea. I've called many landscapers and I mixed up the name and said "hello is this RC LandScaping" and I was told to F*** off. My phone is in a different area code, so maybe they thought I was a telemarketer. Either way, that seemed pretty unreasonable. It's 2019, so area codes don't mean much anymore.
