There's lots to look at, everything is well labeled, and the staff is really friendly. Treats: There are so many options of what you can buy, and some things have samples. There's a fresh fudge section and ice cream. Try the ice cream! It definitely puts the cream in ice cream. So fricken rich and delicious! Would I recommend? Yes. Will I be back? A great place to stop and take a break from driving if you are passing by on I-65. The meat and three lunch is very good, and you can also snack up on in-house flavored pecans and fudge. Worst customer service I have every experienced for mail order products. I am now 12 days past my original $50.00 order date with no response to multiple emails and phone calls requesting an order status. Called customer service, put on hold loop for 10 minutes with no opportunity to leave a message as "the mailbox is full". And I am still receiving promotional emails from Priester's Pecans advertising Christmas gifts with timely shipping!!! I called the order number, hoping to, at the very least, speak to a live person. The woman on the line is clearly not with the company but simply an answering service. i had ordered a valentines day gift tin a s a gift. was very disappointed. the gift tin was not as pictured and the condition of the product was not as expected. broken pieces, chochlate coating broken off, and questionable freshness. reached out to customer service and received no reply (very disappointing). i did not ask for a refund or replacement. i did expect at least to have my concerns acknowleged. embarrising to gift this. have done business with priesters many times, in the past. just really thought better of them! they do promise customer service, but i received no response. disappointing! read more

It's more than a gift shop, they have the most unique gifts & cutest trinkets. It's very simular to Cracker Barrel's gift store. This place is humongous and a lot of fun to visit. I stopped in on my way to the Gulf Coast as I took a break from the the highway driving. I've been here before however it was years ago around Christmas time and of course they had all the Christmas Cheer everywhere. Inside there's pecans everywhere all sorts of pecan candies, honey, jams, butters etc. Also different sorts of fudge, Yum. A nice ice cream selection for cones or can be made into a milk shake, you can also order a float. There's a restaurant, I haven't been in there yet, I'll save that for my next visit. I bought the key lime pecans and a pecan lemon bar. I wasn't crazy about the lemon bar. Oh but the key lime pecans were delicious. read more

Very confusing lines for registers. The ideals of the company are great, but the cashiers were not very welcoming. They had several issues with their machines, they moved me to another registers, all to promptly tell me "they dont think regions cards are working right now". I know it isnt their fault, but all the technological problems and weird layout with the registers combined, plus the extreme traffic in the building really ruined it for me. Wont be stopping in again anytime soon, but hope it gets better read more

This place is a nice little pit stop in I-65 N but it's very much a tourist trap . Think Cracker Barrel ! They have all sorts of home decore . Lily Pulitzer items, willow tree figures, blocked inspirational signs , toys and more all at marked up prices Stock is most likely limited and the demand for that stuff is not abundant hence the higher Prices because they do need to make a profit off of what they do sell - for sales people like my self they do have a clearance area up next To the viewing area , very messy and disorganized but they have stuff on sale which by the looks of it isn't well received as well . They do have a restaurant area -9.99 for adults for 1 meat and 3 sides . The menu for the bar was limited . I cannot judge on their food quality or taste because the hot bar was still closed when we arrived . Again they have a wide variety of good made in house . I found the price of a small bag of pecans to be a tad expensive when I can get the same size bag for cheaper made in house at buccees . They had a few Few samples but for things I am assuming are produced in house I'd figure this would help keep cost down . They make pies , Cakes ,Breads and a wide Variety of pecans . They also had old fashion cans yesterday and Fudge as well . During the weekday you can go up stairs and overlook the factory and see people making the goodies fresh . It's weird but cool .. We were here a couple days before Christmas and it was a zoo. One of our purchases was a bag of honey coated pecans which are so good we are stopping back on our trip home from FL to WI. We also bought a large pecan log for a gift and picked up a couple nut gift boxes. Hopefully on our next stop post Christmas holiday it won't be as busy so we can look around more. Prestrrs Pecans is always amazing. Today I had my favorite ice cream, black walnut. It's definitely the best. Whenever I eat black walnot ice cream I remember helping my grandmother harvest these nuts. Their gift shop is filled with many types of gifts. I'm sure you could find the perfect gift! Stopping on the way home and found this little patch of Heaven just over the hill off the exit. Right off the highway and convenient. The grounds are gorgeous and have one of those lovely front porches that are cozy and inviting. The store specializes in pecans but have snacks and gifts of all kinds there. Terrible customer service. My order was placed on 12/9 for delivery 12/18. Have received no notice of shipping or delivery, and their tracker says no information on my order # available. I tried calling customer service today and got a recording saying to leave my phone number and they would call back. They did not. I also emailed - no response. About 5 pm I finally got through to a real person on customer service, who said to call back tomorrow because they close their computer system at 3pm. We were staying nearby and were told that this is a must. We took the drive and checked them out. The store has a gift shop and also a food area where you can get all kinds of pecans with a small deli. We ended up going twice because we love our pecans, and these have been the best so far! We did not try the food in the deli as we just bought several varieties of pecans and pies. The store can be busy, but that is a good thing. I have grown up going to Priester's on any road trip my family and I go on it's always a place we stop. I love the atmosphere, and the pecans are some of the best I have eaten. They also have a lovely shop with clothing for any occasion. One thing I would say is the bathrooms could be cleaner, but that won't keep me from stopping there. They do have bulk candies $2.50 per 1/4 pound. They sell team pride and state pride merch along with hand made decor and furniture. I ordered 5 pounds of pecans. I'm on a Keto diet and one thing I'm permitted is nuts. These were tasty but included a LOT of crumb size nuts at the bottom along with a LOT of really tiny pieces, too tiny for eating with my fingers. I believe these may be good for pecan pies but they were NOT good for eating by hand. Priester's charged me $45 including shipping. I would not recommend these to anyone that eats nuts with their fingers. Next time, I'll purchase the 1/2 pecans from Amazon; 5lbs for $45 shipped from a pecan supplier. I basically threw out what I guess was at least 1 1/2 pounds of pecans. I'm tried pinching pieces in my fingers and holding them above my upturned mouth to drop in like cookie crumbles. This is no way to eat pecans or any nuts. I feel I'm being generous in giving 2 stars. I felt like giving one. read more

They have ice cream and a whole fudge section. We went home with way too much fudge. So good! I also got some sort of chocolate pecan sticks that taste just like a candy bar. Delicious! Also a whole gift shop area. Lots of parking, including parking for RVs, etc. Will definitely be stopping in our next trip. This will become a tradition for us for sure. This place was really fun to be in. So many cool clothes and bags and food items... I ended up buying packaged cinnamon honey pecans, blueberry cheesecake fudge, praline fudge, sassy pineapple jam, and apricot spread. The only thing I've tried so far is the fudge. Both are Delicious ! I would definitely buy it again, even though it's pricey. I think it was $11 for 2 squares if I'm not mistaken. I feel like Bucees fudge is less $, but I'll have to look into it further some other time to confirm that , lol. This store reminded me of Bucees -tho it's more condensed and less convenience store feel, and there's more pecan options of course ! I wish they had freshly made pecans that are still warm. Tourist trap alert! They have pecan farms like this everywhere, but that didn't mean I didn't have a wonderful time getting lost inside, eating all the samples like a fat kid loves cake, reading every single flavor of jam and salsa they had, and hoarding candy like a drought was coming in. In the end, I left with a jar of pecan butter. The visual presentation is fun. The service was average to my surprise. I would have thought tourist spots meant more receptive employees but most of them stood around and stared us like we were the attraction. Cute place we like to stop by when passing through Alabama. They have a variety of flavored pecans/nuts to sample in small open bowls with tongs...kind of scary because this is a busy little place and lots of hands pass through those samples. But honestly, depending on your likes, they have really good flavors (cinnamon, milk chocolate and so many choices) and different sizes of pecans (for baking, eating, throwing :-) but they are all good. Lots of souvenirs and just stuff....if you don't buy anything it's fun just to look around just to see what they have! Spoke to a different rep who apologized for the situation and immediately refunded my money, which went through within hours. She was surprised to learn that her computer system had been "shut down for maintenance" over the weekend. They have a very good product so it's too bad they are using UPS. Priester was a lovely place to find in the middle of nowhere. They have a lovely front porch with rocking chairs to greet you. Inside is basically a Cracker Barrel store to the right (severely overpriced items, we are talking $38 for a shirt) and a candy area, buffet, ice cream bar, and food merchandise to the left. Upstairs is a viewing hallway where you can look down on the production(if they are running at the time). We did not get the pleasure of seeing them at work, I'm going to assume it's because we visited on the weekend. The only off putting thing other than the fact my husband and I thought everything in the store was overpriced was that they have sample bowls that you have to put your fingers in to get a sample. Which in my opinion is a terrible health hazard. Two things I would recommend are the Espresso Brownie (I bought about 5 to take with me) and the Key Lime Pecans(super original and very tasty). The customer service was lovely. If we were back in the area I would visit again to pick up some brownies! read more
