The front office is very short with people. Dr. Pope is very dismissive. I referred my daughter there and she had the same experience with this office. I was placed on medication which needed the Dr. to fill out paperwork for my provider. That took 10 days and was eventually dropped because Dr. Pope said my insurance company wanted more medications tried. When I brought up that I had spoken with the insurance company and told them of issues I was having, they said they just needed Dr. verification and they could proceed. Dr. Pope said we would try a medication I had been on before which did not work and see how that goes. I have tried contacting Dr. Pope for the past 5 days to ask if I should increase the dosage on the medication because it is not working again. No response. I have now found a new Dr.

However, staff was apologetic for the wait and said that it was due to a new computer system for entering patient data and that because of doctor/patient non-disclosure, all of the data had to be entered by the Doctor. Wait time should improve as most of this data only needs to be entered on the first visit. This was my first appointment with Dr. Aquino. I was very impressed with his breadth of knowledge in both the medical field and in optimizing health. He was a very good listener and professional. I feel good about being under his care. I'm a bit of a health nut and have found that it is hard to find a doctor that is on the same wavelength regarding health in regards to nutrition and exercise. As you can see, I value my time but I value a good doctor more. Which is why I gave 4 stars overall.

I have referred more people to this practice over the course of my childrens life than I can count. My son recently developed severe anxiety onset by Covid and then the mass high school shooting in Oxford. His sister was yanked out of a bathroom at school and thrown into a random classroom and put in lock down for over 30 minutes because of a threat at the school. No one knew what was going on and it was terrifying. He is now in therapy and the therapist recommended he be put on medication to aleviate it. I just got off the phone with Dr. Francis. She informed me that they do not prescribe medication for anxiety to their patients. They won't prescribe medication that my son needs for his mental health. Medication that I know will help him, because I am on it. I have anxiety. My anxiety in under control thanks to my Doctor who knew I was stuggling and knows how important mental health is. Doctors should care and worry and treat our mental health. Funny thing is Dr. Francis said she has no problem prescribing Adderrall to her patients. Frickin adderall. My best friend was prescribed Adderall, she became an addict and died at the age of 25. Adderall is a gate way drug. Dr. Francis disagrees. Dr. Francis has probably never had a friend become an addict and die from it. Dr. Francis needs to do better. #Mentalhealthmatters I took my children out of the practive today and they want to charge me for their records. HAHA. Steer clear of this place. Rescheduled for a couple days later and again she didn't show up. She later emailed claiming that the portal sometimes glitches and she was in the session but I supposedly couldn't see it. She said she was going to finish up her current visit and email me when to log on. I waited for hours, tried calling and emailing multiple times, and never got a response. From two no shows (involving me having to confirm the appointment delays myself rather than the NP simply saying she cannot make it) to REMINDING her of appointments she required and asked for because of having a lack of recent visits. Mental health professionals need to take their duties seriously, not just their credentials. If you cannot give people your full assistance DO NOT keep accepting new patients just to neglect them in the long run.
