Hooray for Prime Painting!!! After living in our 25 year old home for the past 12 years, my wife and I decided that we were tired of the same old drab peach color that blended with the rest of the house in our neighborhood. The trim around the windows were peeling and the cracks in the stucco resembled a huge spider web. We contacted Prime Painting, as well as several others, for a quote. Owner, Bradd Porto, responded immediately. He came to our home, at the earliest mutually agreed upon time, and examined the task at hand. Eager to have our project completed before the holiday's, Bradd responded with a detailed quote outlining each phase of the project. He understood our desire to begin immediately but informed us that he had another project ahead of us and couldn't make any promises that he felt might not hold up just to get the business. Here's a guy with integrity! It was that reason we stopped our search. We had our guy. We selected Prime Painting and tentatively scheduled our project for the week before Christmas with the understanding that weather might push us into the New Year. He listened to our ideas and provided us with a color chart (identifying applicable colors) and an open invitation to "run any ideas" by him. He also provided photos of homes he previously worked on that were similar to our desired color scheme. Bradd made himself available to us as much as necessary to assure we made the proper decision. He displayed a genuine interest in our final selection as if he was painting his own home. The project began with a final "sit down" with the three of us. Bradd mapped out an outline of the project from beginning to end. His crew showed up at the agreed start time and was well prepared to follow their schedule. Each employee was extremely respectful to my home, my family and my neighbors. They came there with a job to do and a pride in their work ethic that was second to none. As one team member pressure washed the house, another patched up all of the cracks in the stucco. The next three days resembled a symphony, the way this team worked together. At the end of each day, it was as if no one was there. No trash on the ground. No dripped paint to be found and no damaged plants or anything else external to the house. Upon completion, Bradd and I circled our house multiple times to assure that all areas of the house met his (and my) quality standard. All that was left behind was the best looking house on the block! Just in time for Christmas. I cannot say enough about Prime Painting. I feel very strongly about recommending them to all my friends. Painting the exterior of your house is an investment in your property and choosing what company to trust to do the work should not be taken lightly. While other companies offered bids based on what they saw on GoogleMaps, Bradd came to our home and personally walked the property with us. He inspected the entire exterior of our home, spending much of the time explaining in great detail the work that would be done to the house to prepare it for paint, including power washing, filling cracks, repairing stucco, & filling/repairing exposed wood that had begun to show signs of damage as the original, cheap "builder" paint had long been baked off by the sun. Then we discussed paint, with Bradd not simply stating that in his professional opinion he uses the best paint, but taking the time to explain why, even explaining that we could save a few $$ because the most expensive paints out there aren't necessarily designed to be used in our climate. Even though it was clear to me and my wife that Prime Painting would be the company we would go with, Bradd was patient and urged us to speak with other companies before making our decision. He is confident of his work and the final product he delivers. Pricing was fair and he and his crew delivered 100%. They were courteous, punctual, and completed the job as promised. As Bradd walked us around home to show us the work that had been done, my wife and I were amazed to see our home shine again. I couldn't offer a higher recommendation of Prime Painting! read more

We had put off painting the exterior of our 16 year old house for too long, and it nearly cost us. Bradd came out for the estimate and reassured us that it was still salvageable without needing major work. He spent so much time going over every aspect of the walk-thru, and explaining the various things to consider with color choices, we actually learned a lot. Although we had other estimates, we decided on Bradd on the spot-something we never do, because we felt he was so passionate about painting and customer satisfaction. We joked that our little house was a "crack house" because it was riddled with so many cracks, more than other homes in our area, same age, etc. You'd never know it now. I was concerned about the sealed cracks showing like I've seen on other homes, especially since we had so many. After the house was done, it would be difficult for anyone but us to find where they once were. That in itself was worthy of 5 stars. Bradd and his crew are really down to earth, good guys. I really appreciated their good manners, asking permission to play music while they worked, never asking to use the restroom the whole 3 days, etc. (good taste in music too, I enjoyed it myself!). After interviewing several highly rated local painters, we were most impressed with Prime Painting. Bradd, from the start, was affable, knowledgeable, and motivated, inspiring confidence in the quality of his painting. He and his team proved us right. Bradd diligently assisted us in planning the paint scheme for the house and trim. He has definite opinions about choosing colors, which is a great thing. He freely shared his long experience with house painting without his ideas ever dominating ours. His customer is always in the driver's seat. Bradd and his assistant painters were always on time and were able to successfully complete five days of work in just four (we lost a work day due to heavy rain). His team of two men were as professional and friendly as he was. We never experienced any difficulties or inconveniences that sometimes come with home improvement projects. Day by day, as the work progressed, we were extremely pleased with the results. The house was first thoroughly pressure washed, and it's wood siding and stucco were properly repaired. Wow! How refreshing to work with a contractor who is honest and professional! We spent months agonizing over what color to paint the exterior of our home - driving around, getting samples, talking to friends, getting estimates, etc. Finally, we called Prime Painting and our agonizing was over! We scheduled an appointment with Bradd the weekend following our phone call. He was timely, personable and thorough beyond our expectations. He took his time and went over our entire property, front to back. He thoroughly explained their process and pointed out every detail they would take care of, pointed out cracks and flaws, some of which we didn't know were there. Bradd didn't just hand us a color brochure he actually helped us with color selection, paint quality and helped put our fears to rest. After our consultation, we asked if he had a couple of properties we could drive by so we could see his completed work product. We received at least 10-12 within an hour. I was referred by family that had their house recently painted. We loved the results so I contacted Prime Painting. Well, Bradd & his team just finished up painting the exterior of our house. I should say rejuvenating & painting our house. Every crack, crevice & gap on all surfaces were sealed & repaired. This included sealing & sanding all the fascia boards & patching mangled stucco. They even removed & disposed of some old satellite dishes for us. Honestly, I'm not sure I realized how much damage was on the house until they fixed it all. "Hey, wasn't there a giant crack there?" We highly recommend Prime Painting for their professionalism and quality of their work! We based our request for a quote on the great reviews Prime Painting and a few other painters received on yelp. Prime Painting was the only one to conduct an extensive walk with us, and explain all that needed to be done. Bradd pointed out the cracks in the stucco, peeling/fading paint resulting from interior paint used on the house exterior by the last painter and discussed what needed to be done. Well, since I came on to yelp specifically trying to track down Prime Painting because I want to use them for a third job, I figure I really do owe them a five star review. I originally used them to paint my fence which was one of those big tedious jobs as it was a wrought iron gate and quite long. Prime Painting did the job for less than the others were willing to do it and did a good job of keeping paint from blasting everywhere in the high summer wind. It did take them a little longer but when I asked if more money was required he said he believed in honoring his word and he had said the price. So, when it was time to paint the exterior of my house, I thought they had made a pretty good impression and tracked them down again. They sealed every crevice. Every summer before having them paint my house we had ants sneak in through the cracks. Now, it's ant free. And it's beautiful. The high quality of the paint comes through in how vibrant the paint job has remained despite a few blistering summers since then. They've done well enough that, thinking about painting some of the interior of my house they were the first company to pop into my mind to see if I could track them down. read more

If you are looking for a painting crew that will go out of their way to make you feel like you aren't in their way (which I most likely was), then this is the crew to work with. Our house was picked up and completely livable each night, allowing us to stay home while the entire interior was being painted. Normally, I am a do-it-yourself-er when it comes to painting, but this project was outside of my wheelhouse thanks to the height of my walls so I decided to hire a professional. Bradd came by the house on his way home from a job one evening and walked me through the entire project. He left an extensive color wheel for my husband and I to work off of and gave me some pointers on ensuring all of the colors worked together. His price came in right in line with the few other quotes I got, but after meeting him, I would have gone with his company even if he had come in slightly higher than the others. Prime painting completed our 3900 sq foot home on Friday. We are SO happy with the results! They took time and care on all of the prep work. Brad took time explaining to us in detail what to expect in the week to come while they were painting. We had an 18 year old wisteria that crept into our patio cover... they all took great care painting around that beautiful giant that is special to us. ( that was no easy job)! They were courteous and helpful to us while they spent time at our home. The icing on the cake was finding a color to perfectly match our inside ceiling. Brad asked a sherwin Williams team member to come out for his opinion. It was spot on. Also when matching our stucco color with paint- he sent out another expert to make sure they got it just right. Brad and his were fantastic. Prime completed both the exterior of our home approximately a year ago and the interior of our home last month. They were courteous quick and also kept myself and my husband, who both work from home, quite entertained for the entire week. The exterior paint job was being completed as our pool, deck, patio cover and the garage door we're being installed. It was complete chaos around here and they kept a very cool and collective environment while they worked around the other contractors , all within 5 days. Like I mentioned the interior of our home was recently done and because my husband and I work from home we thought it might be difficult to complete with us being in their way so much. They never complained as they worked around us and truly got it done within no time. The overall work is also so superior to other paint jobs I have seen. I had Bradd and his crew paint my house interior a few weeks ago. He did a wonderful job. What I especially liked about Prime Painting was that not only did Bradd show up to give us the quote, he then showed up with his crew every day and painted all day with them. That was very important to me that it wasn't just a random crew with little oversight (happened before) but the owner himself. Bradd is very personable, but also hard working and detail oriented. He did all the cutting in between the ceiling and walls himself. The rest of the team were also excellent. They got the job done and cleaned up after themselves. You could tell they had been working together for a while because they came in and got right down to business. It's been a couple of weeks because I wanted to be sure I was happy with everything and didn't notice any missed spots or sloppy work before I posted a review. I really can't say enough good things about these guys. I called Prime Painting on a weekend, they immediately responded. In fact, the owner came over the same day to take a look at our project. He helped with every detail of the planning stage. When they started the project, they all showed up on time, with all of their tools, and started. They never left our project to go and work on someone else's project. The project went completely smooth and they were constantly concerned with pleasing us. The owner actually painted our house with his staff, he did not "farm" it out to someone else. These guys take their work seriously. I was very happy that they were licensed, insured, and bonded. Prime Painting is the very best! We have had several houses on our street recently painted. Our neighbors certainly noticed the amount of prep work, workmanship, then clean up that Prime did on our house. Bradd is awesome to work with and I allowed him complete choice of colors and details. The owner was prompt and responsive during the bid process and the same level of communication and quality continued until the very end of the project. We had several bids to have the entire interior of our home painted, and felt that the price point was extremely reasonable. I'm new to the area, and was referred to Prime Painting through the realtor assigned to us by our relocation company. Turns out I lucked out. Bradd, the owner, was immediately responsive, came out himself to tour our house, gave great guidance on colors, and turned around a very reasonable quote within the 2 day time period he said he would. Best of all, he and his team did a fantastic job. Every room was pristine. No shortcuts- they took every door off its hinges, and every cover off the outlets instead of painting around them. They cleaned up each afternoon before they went home, and left the house spotless on the last day - rehanging all the doors, mirrors and outlet covers. We were recommended Prime by a coworker and couldn't be happier! We had a quote in a day or so of calling, HOA approved the vendor quickly and we were able to start the following Monday! We have a 2000 square foot house, two story with a back deck and the project was complete by Wednesday afternoon. They were professional, knowledgeable and use high-quality paints. They provide plenty of examples and recommendations but respect your wishes if you choose something different. Our stucco was damaged from sprinklers over the last 20 years (we believe the previous home owners tried to self-patch only to have it crumble again); after day 1 it was like New! I would highly recommend Bradd and the guys without any hesitation. From the moment you get the call back to set the appointment, he is very accommodating. You could tell he would turn out a great job when doing the initial walk through. He pointed out things about the exterior that I'd never even noticed, cracks, chips, nail holes, etc. Very very thorough. He quoted me a very fair price for the amount of work that was expected. The paint on the house was the original one from 20 years ago. So, it needed a lot of patching and prep work. His input on colors is what truly made the difference.
