I saw Prime Painting in my neighborhood and was impressed with the homes they were painting. I called and had Bradd came out to give us a quote on painting our home. He walked us through the process and explained that his team really focused on the prep of the home so the paint job turns out great. We scheduled the job and they arrived on time and power washed the home the first day. Taped, chalked and prepped the second day. Third day was paint and the fourth was half day touch up and clean up which included power washing all my concrete. We were really impressed with the time and care they took in the preparation. Bradd, the owner, was immediately responsive, came out himself to tour our house, gave great guidance on colors, and turned around a very reasonable quote within the 2 day time period he said he would. I was referred by family that had their house recently painted. We loved the results so I contacted Prime Painting. Well, Bradd & his team just finished up painting the exterior of our house. I should say rejuvenating & painting our house. Every crack, crevice & gap on all surfaces were sealed & repaired. This included sealing & sanding all the fascia boards & patching mangled stucco. They even removed & disposed of some old satellite dishes for us. Honestly, I'm not sure I realized how much damage was on the house until they fixed it all. "Hey, wasn't there a giant crack there?" Our experience with Bradd and Prime Painting was nothing less than first rate right from the beginning! When we contacted Prime Painting Bradd responded almost immediately and arranged to come out to give us an estimate on painting the exterior of our house. Other companies gave us an estimate over Home Advisor without even looking at what the job would it entail strictly based on square footage. He spent over an hour to inspect and go over every aspect of our house and what the process would be to complete the job. His attention to detail and explanation of what the job would entail is what set him apart from other companies we had called to gives us an estimate. For example pointing out door jams needing to be replaced as painting wouldn't cover up the problems. He gave us suggestions on painting particular details of the house to make it stand out. He gave us a timeline assuring us that when his crew started they would work only on our house until finished. Day one they showed up when he said they would and they continued everyday and stuck right to the schedule he set. He gave recommendations of color combinations and that we tryout different sample colors to be sure we got what we wanted. He gave us addresses of home they had painted to view his work and even if the color scheme wasn't exactly what we would want the quality of the work was evident! The cost was less than what we expected particularly considering all the extras they did. They completed the project with minimal disruptions into our everyday life and most importantly we got the beautiful outcome we'd hoped for. Painting the exterior of your house is an investment in your property and choosing what company to trust to do the work should not be taken lightly. While other companies offered bids based on what they saw on GoogleMaps, Bradd came to our home and personally walked the property with us. He inspected the entire exterior of our home, spending much of the time explaining in great detail the work that would be done to the house to prepare it for paint, including power washing, filling cracks, repairing stucco, & filling/repairing exposed wood that had begun to show signs of damage as the original, cheap "builder" paint had long been baked off by the sun. Then we discussed paint, with Bradd not simply stating that in his professional opinion he uses the best paint, but taking the time to explain why, even explaining that we could save a few $$ because the most expensive paints out there aren't necessarily designed to be used in our climate. Even though it was clear to me and my wife that Prime Painting would be the company we would go with, Bradd was patient and urged us to speak with other companies before making our decision. My house looks great! We felt comfortable with Bradd from the beginning. He walked me through the process, and I knew exactly what to expect from the initial estimate. We had a lot to paint (kitchen cabinets, crown molding, wainscoting, baseboards, fireplace, doors, etc) and it took his crew 9 days to complete (which fit with the estimate he gave initially). I had a hard time picking a color (seriously, white should not be so difficult ha!) and he really worked with me to find what i wanted. He warned me that there would be a lot of dust while sanding the cabinets down, and he wasn't lying! He worked with us to plan the job around our vacation, so we were able to be out of town for several days of it (our whole downstairs was unusable). I felt completely comfortable having them here without us (he also sent pictures regularly to update us which i appreciated). They paid attention to detail, and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. We added in a couple minor things last minute, and he just threw them in for us without nickel and diming us. A few days after they completed the project, we noticed a problem. They came out to fix it without any hesitation. Wow! From the moment that Bradd came to see me and my husband about a quote for exterior paint on our house, we knew we were not going to contact any other painting company. He was very personable, you know, one of those people you like right from the get go? His quoting process was extremely professional and very comprehensive.
