My wife received an invitation o receive a free Caribbean cruise if we attended a 1-hour presentation. We went and listen to a one-on-one presentation. Told the representative that due to our ages, mid 70S and medical issues, we weren't interested. He left and returned with the owner. The owner offered us a 2 -year membership plus an Alaskan cruise, 2 airfares and 2 nights in a hotel in Seattle. So we signed up. The following week, I looked in the package for the information for the Alaskan cruise, it was there. I contacted the rep who was going to check on it. When after 3-4 days and I didn't hear from him, I contacted the owner. He sent me the brochure for the cruise. No information on the airfare or hotel, so I contacted him again and finally got it. I paid the activation fee for the Caribbean cruise and tried to make reservations and after several go rounds, they refunded the fee and said they no longer deal with the travel company. Then I investigated the Alaskan cruise which also required an activation fee and $499 per person. I texted the owner Robert several times and requested a refund an to cancel our membership. Finally,when you refuse, you are given a certificate for your "deal". In our case it was supposed to be 7 days at a luxury hotel worldwide. Pablo explained everything to us, how to get around because we rented a car through the membership, and we went on a lot of the activities using some of my points that I accumulated.... I went to the famous Chichen. Itza, Chichikan, Paquele's Alux, Cenote and Comida.... All related to the ancient Mayan experience and culture, bathing in their sacred pool and seeing the ancient Pyramid,, I went snorkeling also in Cozumel, I never did before, was exciting and fthe Mexican people are so accommodating and pleasant. We signed a $10,000 USD membership with Prime Travelers Club while staying at Royalton CHIC Cancun. We were assured verbally that we had 5 business days to cancel for a full refund, as allowed under Mexican consumer law (Article 56). We canceled within that period, but they withheld $995 as a non-refundable "admin fee" and $600 for bracelet use, which they had told us was complimentary for signing. We felt pressured throughout the process, and they took our original contract at cancellation, leaving us with no full record. To get any refund, we were required to sign a waiver we didn't fully understand under time pressure. We've since filed disputes with PROFECO (Mexico's consumer protection agency), our credit card, and Sunwing Vacations, but are still waiting for resolution. If you're approached by this group during your vacation, please take your time and read everything carefully. We wish we had. read more

I am a customer that actually went through the presentation and bought a travel membership. This company does comply 100% with the contract. Do not sign anything unless you fully understand the contract and agree to it. We bought a membership, because of their 110% "Best Price Guarantee". Make sure you really understand the Best Price Guarantee before you agree to sign up. This company will honor the better price if it follows their criteria. The contract says terms and conditions apply (see live platform). So here are most of those terms and conditions. They have limited inventory. You can find better deals on the internet. Their inventory is growing but it is limited. ( Inventory means hotels, rentals, flights, etc. ) You must book first your flight, rental, cruise, etc with PVI and then you have 24 hours to submit a Price Match Guarantee claim. The price match must be for the same type of room at the same hotel and same address. Also, the booking must have the same cancellation policy. If the cancellation policy says nonrefundable on the competitors website, the PVI cancellation policy for the same listing must be non refundable. If you have a membership like AARP or AAA, you can get discounts that maye lower the price of a booking lower than what is listed on PVI's website. But Prime Vacations International will only honor the price before your discount. The price from the competitor website must be a lower price, available to the public without any special discounts that only some people can get from being part of other memberships like AARP or AAA. The refund will not be given in cash, and will not returned to your credit card. It will be given to you as reward credits. You can only use the reward credits on their website to book or rent inventory. You pay a one time membership fee. That fee can be negotiated with your sales agent. Then, you pay annual fee of $129. You can use your reward credits to pay that annual fee if you have enough reward credits on your account. You only accumulate reward credits by using their website to make purchases. See the photos. I received reward credits for finding a cheaper price on the hotel's website I was going to stay at. Prime Vacations International did accept my claim, because I followed their rules. read more

We received a letter informing us that we had won a prize of travel. When we called for information we were told that we had won a seven day cruise to any destination and a $100 Amazon gift card. No purchase was needed and the representative did not tell us who was the sponsor. We were only required to attend a presentation about cruises. The truth was that it was a push to join a travel service for a large dollar amount ( which we were not told). When we refused to join, we were handed a credit card that was later revealed to be $10.00 and a three night cruise choice of 3 basic cruises and only lowest level accommodation with us being responsible for the taxes. SCAM - I booked a cruise with them and found it cheaper two days later. They gave me a few hundred dollars back but it wasn't cheaper than Royal Caribbean's deal. A was going to try again, only to find out my membership was no longer active because I didn't pay the renewal fee. I called customer service and asked why I wasn't sent an email before it was time to renew and they told me to check my spam folder. Of course, nothing was in SPAM. I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel for 3 nights; the accommodations were very nice, room was spacious with a great view of the pool area. I gave it 4 stars because for 2 nights my friend and i could hear the bass from the music until early in the morning which disrupted our sleep. The hotel is beautiful but if you aren't a gambler and you aren't there for the show, there is only the pool, the shops and a beautiful pricey spa to keep you entertained. read more
