Great Value! Give this company a hard look before you sign up elsewhere. 5 Star Hotels, great breakfast buffets in all hotels, knowledgeable, personable, and passionate tour guides and bus drivers!! The Bar Mitzvah aspect of the Tour was done well, especially the party they hosted at the Inbal Hotel. Not only did they host a party in a 5 star hotel with a band and a very nice 5 course meal, they gave my wife and children beautiful rings. Very nice and very thoughtful!! This company has been in business since 1980. Some of their tour guides have been with the company since they started. If you're going to invest your family's hard earned cash on trip to Israel, then pick a company that knows what they are doing. OUCH on all accounts! 1. My luggage was destroyed by the transport company hired by Margaret Morse but nobody would take responsibility for it. 2. The tour guide Allan spoke down to me, felt it was his responsibility to parent my child, I had a huge fall off a camel - not one word from the guide to see if I was okay or the other parent that fell with me. Overall we had a nice time and we had wonderful group of families with us. The tour guide Allan's behavior was atrocious, the most arrogant man I have ever met. He completely ignored the horrific fall from the camel I endured , just disgusting behavior. I would never ever recommend him. Margaret Morse won't compensate for the luggage or inconvenience. They are more loyal to the vendors they use rather than their customers. So if ANYTHING happens on your tour, BE Aware! Its on you, you will get zero assistance from them. We will be looking for an alternative tour company for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. read more

We tell everyone that if they are going to Israel "the only way to go is with Margaret Morse." Our first trip was with Allan who was so knowledgeable. I just returned from my trip. Every tour has its ups and downs, but this one is very professional. My daughter was bat mitzvahed and she loved it. The tour guide David knew his stuff and was very passionate. His son was a counselor on the trip and kids loved him. I would recommend this tour. The hotels were five star . The breakfasts were great. The other meals were the best that could be (everything was kosher). Finally, not everything is perfect, but this tour is top notch! read more

Margaret Morse = No Responsibility Part 1 The company has great itineraries, excellent guides, 5 star hotels. But when either their transport company or the hotel destroyed ( not damaged so it is usable but destroyed so it is not usable) our luggage the first response was we are not responsible - put in a claim with your trip insurance. Not exactly the response one would expect on Shabbat no less! Maybe we're sorry this happened. We'll recommend some shopping places as soon as Shabbat is over. Nothing! Margaret Morse = No Responsibility Part 2 My adult daughter and another mom from our Family Tour June 11-23, 2019 fell off a camel that did not properly dismount. Both were bruised especially my daughter. Our tour guide, Allan, stood and watched the entire episode (we have it on video) and did NOTHING! Who does that? And what was Robyn Morse's response? He's British. Really? I guess once they have your money they really don't care about you any more. Margaret Morse = No Responsibility Part 3 Back to suitcasegate - Margaret Morse's grandchildren, Robyn and Michael who run the company, apparently never heard the adage the customer is always right. Customers keep them in business but they don't seem to care. Instead they cater to their vendors to the detriment of their customers. They wouldn't even contact the transport company or the hotel to find out what happened. They just ignored the whole thing. Margaret Morse = No Responsibility Part 4 What is a tour guide's job? He is supposed to convey information about where we are going and for that Allan does an exemplary job. But a tour guide is also supposed to take care of the people on his tour if they have a problem, get hurt or need something. For that Allan is a despicable excuse for a human being. He didn't ask our daughter how she was feeling after her fall, did not ask if she needed a doctor or needed to go to the emergency room or anything. More than 24 hours after the incident he asked how her knee was? Really? We have been on numerous tours where people were injured (fortunately not seriously) and the guide was always there with assistance. Robyn & Michael Morse and Allan Marks have no soul. read more

My children and I just returned from an absolutely incredible experience in Israel. We booked Margaret Morse tours at the recommendation of very close friends of my parents, who previously toured with MM. My parents as well as my best friend from grade school and her family joined us in order to create the very special memory of having a double bar/bat mitzvah celebration-we wanted her daughter and my son to celebrate this important milestone together. From the time we were met at the airport to the moment we left, every last detail was taken care of. Our luggage transport up to our rooms was handled by the hotel (nice to not have to drag those heavy suitcases!) the food provided for breakfast and dinner was top notch, and any and all issues/questions/concerns were swiftly addressed by either the hotel or MM. The sites were absolutely incredible-from Old Jaffa to Caesarea, to the Ayalon Institute (my daughter's favorite part of the trip!) to Akko, the Golan Heights, to Jerusalem, Masada, the Dead Sea, and Eilat, MM paced the tour in such a way that you truly felt you were able to experience Israel both thoroughly and in its entirety. Of course, the special day and evening of the bar and bat mitzvah celebration will forever be etched in my memory... NONE of the aforementioned would have been possible however, without our absolutely incredible, insightful and brilliant tour guide Allan Marks. Most everyone who has had him as a tour guide sings his well deserved praises. However, I must say I was extremely taken aback by the negative, harsh and in my opinion untrue words spoken by a family who apparently had traveled recently with MM and was lucky enough to have Allan as their guide. The words used by this reviewer included: "heartless," "despicable" "egomaniac" "atrocious" and "arrogant." (Mind you this reviewer was apparently so impressed by Allan Marks previously that they requested him for a second time.) As a mother of a son with Asperger's Syndrome, I've realized throughout the years that it takes a certain type of person to assess and engage successfully with my son. It takes a specific approach-one that includes empathy and realism. (He knows right away if you are neither.) Allan was both. He was empathic and real. This skill set, combined with both his passion and knowledge for his discipline led my son to seamlessly connect and embrace Allan's lecture style-a style infused with a sense of humor, (which was also appreciated by the adults!) the ability to connect our historical past to the present using modern day references the kids could understand, and what was probably the least fun part of the job-being blunt and straightforward with the kids on and off the bus when necessary regarding electronics, talking, etc. I've always subscribed to the philosophy of "it takes a village to raise a child." My daughter was singled out by Allan one day for being on her phone and not listening-and rightfully so. I equated the bus and our tour to a school setting. I would fully expect her teacher to acknowledge and take action if she was off task in school. Our bus was her classroom for the two weeks, our guide her teacher. To read such harsh vitriol spoken about a man who genuinely cared for all the adults and children on the tour and in his charge in my opinion is both unfair and uncalled for. I hope anyone considering a trip to Israel will wisely choose Margaret Morse. We couldn't have been happier with our experience with this well run, caring and accommodating touring company. All the guides, sites, hotels, and food were top notch. There is a reason they have been in and stayed in business for as long as they have. Highly recommend! read more

Helen B. TRIP OF A LIFETIME Speaking to my cousin Roz many months ago about giving myself a memorable birthday gift, we discussed the possibility of an Israeli tour. After researching a few of the Israeli tours, we decided on the 12-day Margret Morse Tour Group. It was one of the best decisions we ever made - the trip of a lifetime. We booked the trip in November 2021 and hoped the threat of COVID would not cancel the trip. Roz had moved to Israel in August 2021. I decided to fly to Israel a few days before the tour began to visit with Roz and her family. El-Al requires everyone to have a negative PCR test 72 hours before boarding the plane, and an entry document completed. I worried about the test for about a week and thankfully it was negative. When arriving in Israel I had to take another COVID test and remain in quarantine at Roz's apartment until I received the results. Fortunately, the second test also came back negative. The months flew by and before we knew it, March 21, 2022, had arrived. Arriving at Newark airport and going through Israeli security was nerve-racking. The custom agent wore a mask, and his English was hard to understand. I kept saying "What" until finally he was satisfied with my answers and told me to have a safe trip. From that point on the rest of the experience went smoothly. The plane was packed with most of the middle seat was empty. It was a long and smooth ride. When I arrived at Ben Gurion Airport, my cousin, her daughter, and her husband were waiting for me. I was so excited, I couldn't breathe. We went to their beautiful apartment, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The next morning Roz and I left for Tel-Aviv to join the tour group. It amazed me to see the Hebrew and English lettering on all the building and signposts. It reminded me of a big city with all the apartment buildings, shops, restaurants, and people. Roz and I took a walking tour, seeing many different architectural styles. There were no guidelines for how the buildings were built; they were all completely different. That night there was a scheduled welcome dinner at the hotel, where we met our tour guide and the other eight people in our group. Everyone was so friendly and six of the people live near me in New Jersey and Philly. For the next 12 days our tour started at 9 in the morning and ended at around 9:30 at night. We visited museums, different Kibbitzes, and archival discoveries. I kept thinking about the determination of the Israeli people continuing to build their country while living with the threat of terrorist attacks and the possibility of war every day. Akiva, our driver, drove us safely around the narrow streets and highways while Alan, the tour guide, pointed out the different sights we were passing. When we got off the bus Alan gave us a history of the area and showed us different archival discoveries. He told us stories about the area and had a great sense of humor. We all loved him. The highlight of the trip for me was seeing the Western Wall. Walking down to the Wall I had felt that God was there and watching over all of us. One of the customs is to write your prayers to God on a piece of paper and put it in the Wall. Putting my prayers into the Wall and praying with the other women brought tears to my eyes. I flew back on April 3, 2022. It was a very smooth flight, and I was happy to get back to America, my home. I highly recommend Margaret Morse Tours: your every need is met, hotels are luxurious, and you experience an inside look and feel of the country. Getting back to my everyday life was a struggle. I felt like I was in a coma for the first few days and had no energy. It took me about two weeks to feel normal again. It was worth the trip, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. read more

Wow, I can't believe noone else has reviewed this company yet. It's been in business for 30 years, I think. Really? No reviews? Strange... My cousins in Montreal went on a Margaret Morse tour to Israel a year ago and they LOVED it. I must add that these cousins are very savvy world-travelers. They don't have kids and they travel to exotic locales regularly (think: African safaris, the Galapagos Islands, etc.). For them to rave about a tour group spoke volumes, as they don't impress easily. Fast forward a year. My family went on a MM tour to Israel last month. My parents, hubby and kids came. My eldest had her Bat Mitzvah up on Masada. It was a 16-day tour - and it was INCREDIBLE. First, our bus driver was wonderful: super-safe driver, always friendly and just happy to be there, great disposition, had the bus always immaculate. Our guide, Allen, was exemplary: his knowlege of the country, the sites, the history was mind-boggling. His sense of humour, wry and on-the-mark. He was so engaging, the kids and adults alike adored him (and, as you might know, it's rare indeed for adults and kids/teens to agree on anything!). The schedule was ideal, and we feel we got more than an overview of the country. We feel we saw a lot more of it than we would have exploring on our own. And because of Allen, we understood what we were seeing more. The hotels were all posh (some, perhaps, a tad more so than others, but all were lovely, with attentive staff, great views and pools). The food was all decadent and we ALL GAINED A LOT OF WEIGHT (darn those rascally MM people for gorging us so!!!). The schedule was truly fabulous (check it out on their website. It would be too lengthy for me to review it all here). My personal highlights? My kid's Bat Mitzvah on top of Masada (there were folks there without kids, yet they, too, were moved), floating in the Dead Sea, snorkelling in the Red Sea, kayaking down the River Jordan and exploring the Old Quarter in Jerusalem and Shabbat at the Wailing Wall. My father is a difficult traveller, and I was amazed and impressed how MM accommodated him (he has special needs, as an older man). We were all given wonderful gifts and mementos by MM, too, which took me aback. I will treasure them, as will my Bat Mitzvah kid. (I don't want to divulge what these are, so as to save you the surprise if you are lucky enough to go on a tour with this company in the future). My only gripes are, admittedly, minor: some hotels charged extra to use the fitness facilities in their hotels (as a result, I didn't work out as I had planned). Also, the tour guides constantly remind us all to stay hydrated (rightfully so) but they charge us for the cold water bottles they sell on the bus. Granted, it's only, like, a buck or so each, but it adds up, and we all kinda thought, hey, we're paying enough for the trip and tour, the water should be included, you know? It was kinda tacky to charge for that. And odd, considering how uber-overly-posh and generous MM was with everything else (the dances and entertainment, the gifts, the food, etc.). There was one episode I must mention, that caused our family much sadness. The night of the Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, there occurred a formal dinner and celebration at the hotel. I'm talking SUPER fancy and lovely, with a band and fine foods. The Bnai Mitzvah kids prepared a lengthy and moving presentation before the meal. Unbeknownst to us, our daughter was given the largest speaking part (quite an honour!). There was assigned seating, and our family was relegated to the worst table in the house: it was located at the farthest back corner of the huge room, beside the kitchen. The only other folks at our table were lovely ladies who didn't have kids on the tour; they had no connection to the Bnai Mitzvah children. The waiters all stood beside us, holding trays, and all we heard were the clatterings from the kitchen. We couldn't see or hear my daughter, nor could we go up to the front of the room to do so, as we had no indication when she'd be going to the podium or lighting the candles. My folks (the grandparents) are older and were unable and unwilling to navigate through all the tables to go to the front of the hall. So...we pretty much missed this very special celebration, and we felt excluded and upset. The MM folks didn't assign us this table with bad intent; it was simply a matter of random, bad luck. SOMEONE has to go there, after all. I just think they should have perhaps assigned non-Bat Mitzvah people, or perhaps, the kids' cousins or uncles, aunts, neices or nephews, to this awful table - NOT the parents and elderly grandparents of the kids in the ceremony. My folks and I cried, that we missed this moment in my daughter's life. All in all, though, this is an unbelievable, top-notch tour company, and I can't see how one could get a better, more comprehensive, more enjoyable tour of the most unbelievable, amazing country in the world! read more

We just returned from a wonderful first trip to Israel with the Margaret Morse Tour group. This has been one of the items in our "bucket list" for a number of years and we finally did it!! I could probably write a book about the very meaningful experience my wife and I had while visiting this very special place (and we are experienced world travelers), but I won't do that right now. However, if anyone who may be reading this is thinking about doing a trip to Israel, I would strongly encourage you to contact this wonderful tour company - Margaret Morse Tours. Their guides in Israel are the best (we had David and he was outstanding). Along with Akiba (probably the best and safest driver in Israel - he was a former tank driver in the Israel Army), we were shown around this amazing country in a way that was enjoyable (and not overly tiring). Both of these professionals were intimately knowledgeable with the history that has brought this small country from what was once an arid desert to what it has become today, an oasis surrounded by warm and beautiful people trying to live in a peaceful and meaningful coexistence with their neighbors. Margaret Morse Tours gave us an experience that we will never forget - the accommodations were top rated and quite comfortable, the food was always fantastic and the people we met were the best. A big thank you to Wendy (who was with us throughout our journey) and her children back in Florida who set up all the details so that we could really feel safe and comfortable from beginning to end. I am writing this review and i have to admit that i am jaundiced. After reading this some may think that i have sour grapes. Not at all. The tour, except for the mandatory buying stops where we were expected to go into the store or shop and buy like the stone factory and spend thousands or the shop in the Golan Heights the tour and having been embarrassed by an ego maniac tour guide and a souced tour manager, was complete, well organized and thankfully able to function on its own without the aid of management. Let me explain. Each tourist is assigned a bus and on the bus is an assigned guide who takes you where the bus goes and tell you the stories and the history etc. David on my bus was very well educated and told great stories. unfortunately his ego gets in his way and when in the Golan, my lady and i were late returning to the bus and he let us have it in front of everyone. I am not 12 and in need of parenting. i dont need nor did I the amount of money called for to be embarrassed in front of the entire bus of people. His job is to make our tour the best it can be and he has no clue. Later, i asked him to step away from the crowd and told him that i di not appreciate the way he talked to us and he told me in no uncertain terms that he will talk to me any damn way he pleases and screamed at me, if i was unhappy with him to change buses. as we were traveling with two other couples, i just bit my tongue and waited for him to come to his senses and apologise and shake my hand. it never happened. at no later time did I ever speak about it to anyone, gripe about anything or find fault with the tour in any way other than to seek the general managers e mail address so as to later write her about this incident. the rest of the tour went according to the schedule and as i said, the mandatory buying stops were a pain and i think unprofessional. on the last day of the trip, the bus takes us to Tel Aviv and a restaurant for the "last supper" where a photo of the bus and its occupants was handed out. my lady and i were not included. We had no idea that a picture had been taken. we were never consulted and i believe it was on purpose. i then asked the tour manager who claimed to be the daughter of the original founder to speak with me in another room. i apparently chose the wrong time as she reeked of alcohol and was angry as the so called suggested which are really mandatory tips for the guides and bus drivers was not to her satisfaction. she needed a scape goat and i was apparently it. when i broached the subject of David and the photo and the incident with him, she became irate and out of control and in front of the entire compliment of tourists, proceeded to call me " an unliked, complaining troublemaker" in order to garner more money for her "guys." At this point it was so angry i went out of the restaurant to wait until the dinner was over and our friends would be coming out so we could leave and go tour hotel as we were staying extra days in Tel Aviv. Unbeknownst to me my verble attacker not realizing that i have left the room, began her assault all over again only according to what i was told after the fact, it was even worse. So this is how Margaret Morse Tours made my Israel experience memorable as promised. So if you want a so called great tour replete with mandatory stops where you are expected to buy and you cannot open your mouth about anything lest you become the victim of the tour guide and the directors alcoholic venom and if you dont tip, look out, by all means, go with Margaret Morse. read more

If you want a tour that is fun, informative and filled to the brim with places and things to do, this is your tour. You are treated like family - Wendy comes on the bus and chats and makes sure everything is to your liking. The hotels were beautiful and top notch. Food? More food than you can imagine and good. The guides were amazing, both in their knowledge and their sense of humor (a bit punny but wonderful.) You always feel safe no matter where you go. Everything is taken care of for you and little is left out. You are busy from morning until night. Israel is a beautiful country with so much to see. I hope Wendy does another tour for those of us who wish to return. This trip is worth every penny you pay! read more

Margaret Morse Tours 2012?..... Think Again Perhaps at one time this was the tour to go. This is no longer the case. Although our tour guide was excellent, not all tour guides were equal. Specifically, a tour guide left people on his bus standing in blistering heat with no seating to deliver his history speeches. He was arrogant when approached with problems. All Margaret Morse tour buses are cramped. I'm 5'2 and had little leg room. The tour bus didn't even provide a pocket to hold bottled water or purchases made. In order to store your items you would need to share what little seating space you do have with the rest of your items. Now comes the hotel and food portion of the magnificent Morse tours. Besides having cattle buffet lines for 2 1/2 weeks the special dining events were nothing short of amazing. Dining with Druid Arabs that grabbed food off buffet tables with their hands left me wondering why reservations were made at this kibbutz motel/hotel. When I complained to Robyn Morse regarding people taking food off the buffet with their hands, Robyn responded with, surely I must have eaten at a buffet where people did that before!...... HUH? Does sanitary conditions and cleanliness have any consideration here? I, somehow for the most part, had decent rooms, but beware! Margaret Morse does not provide all travelers with equal rooms. Some travelers were put up in the old tower at the kibbutz with dirty, torn bedding and facilities that did not work. Refunds are being requested. In one of the rooms I shared with another female the bathroom was so small, that we felt it necessary to complain for a larger bathroom to Wendy Morse. Wendy's response was, that we should not use the bathroom at the same time. Second HUH???? Eventually we were given a suite when we reminded Wendy we are from the Fort Lauderdale area where Margaret Morse operates her bookings from. We were just told not to tell anyone, when in fact other people did receive suites for reasons unknown. Another magnificent dining experience was at an all you can eat menu for $10.00. That meal mostly had diners begging for food. Why would this place be recommended? There were 2 dining out experiences that were paid for by Margaret Morse Tours. All were falafel and greasy kabobs, The last and least "special dining event" that was touted in Margaret Morses itinerary was held in a little ghetto Mediterranean restaurant in Tel Aviv, our last night there. This" special event "was quite a hilly hike for seniors. The buses could not get down the narrow hilly streets so we were told to get off the bus and walk to the restaurant on a dark graffiti ridden street. The owner of that restaurant was out and out nasty and ordering people where to sit. I would like to end my review with a kudos for my bus driver Akiv, who landed us safely to every event, and my tour guide Allan, who did a great job guiding, I just don't know if you would be better off spending the same $$$ elsewhere -- Lauren Adler read more

We just got back from a Margaret Morse bar mitzvah tour. While there were many positives to the trip, a lot of it was tainted by their "number one" tour guide, Alan. While a knowledgable man, his personality and views got in the way and were unavoidable during the trip. He walked around like he owned everything and seemed to have very little acknowledgement of the fact that people were on vacation. He is gruff - he was frequently barking at the children in ways that I found completely unacceptable and treated the adults in the same manner on quite a few occasions. He wore clothing that advertised his political affiliations and felt the need to go out of his way to share said views at many turns. This included sitting down at meals and sharing these thoughts one on one, when they were clearly not wanted. We wanted to learn facts, not opinions of one man - especially as we did not share his views and did not want them shoved down our throats. I see that there are other reviews of him that say the same online. As the guide who seemed to be leading the whole experience, I'm not sure how this is allowed to go on. I believe he needs a major adjustment on his approach and attitude - to give facts in a pleasant way, to smile and be kind to the children and to try and give an enjoyable VACATION to those on the tour. His behavior was completely unacceptable and I found myself avoiding him at all costs. He did not help to make this a pleasant experience at all. Additionally, the tour had some issues. Many sites were VERY rushed, without time to properly see them. And the food was terrible. Much of the food was buffet style, which is fine, but the product was awful. Even my child felt that the food was bad - and that's saying something. Most lunches, we were just dropped of at a mall food court. I didn't go to Israel to eat at McDonald's, yet that's what wound up happening often. The whole tour experience felt very "fast food"...I would have a hard time recommending this tour to anyone. read more

Thirty two years ago we traveled on a Margaret Morse tour, and had a wonderful time. Fast forward to October 25th, 2016. Again we are traveling with Margaret Morse tours, only now with Margaret's daughter Wendy . Wendy's children Robyn and Michael now run the office. We found them personable and helpful, when deciding on which tour to take. Our trip to Israel was uneventful and comfortable thanks to Sally at El Al. We were met at the airport and taken to our hotel immediately, meeting other people on the tour. What a difference thirty two years makes. Israel now has modern hi-rise buildings and offices!! Wow! We were taken to a wonderful hotel in Tel Aviv, and a wonderful dinner. The hotels This tour company now uses are upscale four star hotels. Much different from years ago. On our last trip I ate only hummus and bread because the food was terrible . NOW, the selection was wonderful, and food delicious . The tour guides, and bus drivers are fabulous. Their knowledge of history of the country amazing . They are wonderful men with great senses of humor, and genuine warmth. Traveling the country was eye-opening. Modern, historic, beautiful, amazing!! Masada, Haifa, Jerusalem , Caeserea, the Tel Megiddo, Golan Heights, Upper Galilee, Eilat. Unbelievable. We didn't miss a thing. Many extras too!! I, and other women on the tour were Bas Mitzvah at a temple. It was wonderful. Some of us took a day trip to Petra in Jordan. It was very interesting. Unfortunately , it has become very commercial and busy with lots of tours. Crossing the border into Jordan was an experience. Wendy treated us to wonderful dinners, and gifts. Fabulous tour, especially if you are visiting Israel for the first time. The accomodations, buses and food were top notch. We were on a B'nai Mitzvah tour, and the experience was amazing. Regardless of your Jewish affiliation, you cannot help but be deeply moved by hearing your child chant Torah on top of Masada. In addition, the Rabbi was a great combination of humor and seriousness. Finally, our tour guide, David, had more knowledge about the country than most historians. Highly recommend, and we plan on using them again for the 2nd Timers Tour. read more

I very rarely post a negative comment here, but the Margaret Morse tour to Israel can not be recommended. The tour did not run smoothly and there were quite a few negatives. More negatives than positives. Look for a different tour company. read more

Just returned from a Margaret Morse Tour to Israel. I must say that most things were as advertised. Her tour guides and drivers are fantastic with huge amounts of knowledge. But one of the things that is offered is the personal attention of Wendy Morse, who goes on each tour. Wendy is a very personable woman who hands out gifts, treats to a few diners and thanks each person for coming to Israel and wishing that they would tell their friends of the importance of making this trip. However, if something goes wrong with a service and you turn to Wendy for help, don't count on it. She is extremely loyal to her vendors (having used most of them for 20+ years), and will stand with them instead of hearing your side of the complaint or problem. Unfortunately when this happened, it soured our feelings toward her, and would not allow us to recommend Margaret Morse Tours to any of our friends without mentioning this issue. I just returned from a truly memorable trip to Israel with Margaret Morse. I had been to Israel 40 years ago but found a new country. The visit was made even better by the my guide Allen. His knowledge of events and history made the experience truly a trip of a lifetime. Each hotel we stayed in was nicer than the next. Our every need was accommodated. I am seriously thinking of doing their second time around trip. I would recommend this tour company to anyone planning a trip to Israel. read more

Fantastic Tour. My wife and I went on the 16 day Adults only tour in March 2016. The tour was amazing our tour guides were Alan and David. David was on our coach and he was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of Israel and its history. There was so much to see and enjoy, each day provided a new look at the country. All of the Margaret Morse guides and bus drivers were absolutely fantastic. There was attention paid to every detail and I can't imagine what they could do to improve on this tour. We are planning to do the second timers tour in 2018. read more

If you are looking for the absolute best Tour of Israel, stop right here. I've just returned from the Trip of a Lifetime. No cliche here. As a single person traveling to my "Homeland" which I now call Israel, I couldn't have been happier with my tour guide BRUCE ( yeah Purple Bus ) and Mike our driver. The people on our bus made me feel part of the immediately. Bruce made all of my years in Hebrew School come alive with his wonderful knowledge of the 5773 years of the history and culture of this exciting land.The sights we visited all played an important role in understanding how this wonderful country evolved into what it is today and what it will be in the future. Amazing highlights for me were: the Golan Heights,Bruce's speech on Mt. Scopus, my Bat Mitzvah in Jerusalem, the Chagall Windows, Masada and the Dead Sea. From the start of our journey in Tel Aviv,to the end at Eilat, our hotels and the Kibbutz were terrific and food great. Yeah, though, for me, for Aroma.. Haha.. a little of America in Israel is not a bad thing. I will cherish the memories and people whom I now call friends for the rest of my life. Thank you Bruce , Mike, Wendy and all.
