My 99-f150 blew a hose on 183. I replaced the hose and filled it with antifreeze. The coolant…read moresystem had air in the line so I went and bought more antifreeze to bleed out the line. I was in a hurry and purchased the wrong antifreeze which I did not realize until I opened it up and poured some in. I took my truck in to have a flush done. I paid $135.00 and my truck still had air in the system. I took my truck back in and I said that I could not get over 45 mph because it's overheating. One of the techs said well you have air in the system. I said that's why I brought it in to have it flushed. He stated that without a bleeder valve he does NOT know how to bleed it. And he suggested that I take my truck to Brownwood radiator. I paid $135.00 for service which should have included a bleed and still can't drive my truck. I have been taking all three of my cars here for 10 years. Very disappointed in the service today and will not return.

I knew my doughnut would hopefully make it to Brownwood, but Walmart there didn't have my tire. My husband Alex started calling around Brownwood and got ahold of David with David's Tires. He was also closed but out of the goodness of his heart went up to his shop to see if he had the tires I needed. Unfortunately he didn't but referred us to Bill Ellis in Comanche (also closed on Sundays) to see if he had the correct tires. He did and said he'd send someone up to change it out. His son Zane met me at the shop and had it changed in 15 minutes. There is something to say about God watching over you and providing a way. Thank you so much for the Texas way!
