Bathroom here was clean and it was pretty empty late at night so the air wasn't smoky, which I feared it would be. Convenient place to fuel up (Chevrons) and potty just before the Cali border when doing the road trip back in to town. There was one group of men at the bar who wolf whistled at me when I walked out from the restrooms so walk fast. Everyone's favorite desert pit stop. Primm Valley is back to being fully operational. With the recent closures of Whiskey Pete's and Buffalo Bills. Primm Valley is your only option for last minute gambling, restrooms , and gas. I haven't stayed here in years, but I don't remember having any problems with the rooms. I did see a sign in the casino that they recently renovated the rooms here. They have the Bonnie and Clyde car back, which I never get sick of seeing. The casino floor looked pretty lively, but they don't have table games, which is a bummer. At the end of the day, take it for what it is. A place to stretch. Get some fuel. Grab a quick bite. Maybe a little slot play. The interior was fresh looking and it's still free parking . They also have plenty of electric charging stations in the parking lot . read more

I'm purely rating Primm Valley's Casino! I've been stopping in Primm as a pit stop for years every time I'm driving home from Vegas. Each year, this place has become more and more run down. However, I felt compelled to write a review for this visit because it was such a stark contrast compared to my trip last year. Usually this casino is absolutely dead with maybe 2-3 workers walking around (pretty eerie tbh). Nothing was operational in terms of restaurants and bars, and the slot machines were so old and unappealing. The only good thing about it was the well-maintained bathrooms. This time around, as we pulled up I was really confused why there were more than 5 cars in the parking lot. I'm telling you it's usually a ghost town. I knew SOMETHING must've changed and I was right. They completely overhauled the old slot machines and replaced them with a bunch of newer machines, including roulette and blackjack. There are actual employees walking around taking drink orders because the bar is operational again! The sports betting area was also pretty lively and had another bar of its own. While there are still no tables to play at with real dealers, this definitely felt like a step up compared to my recent experiences. It made our supercharging session go by way faster. Not a place you NEED to stop at by any means, but it's just cool to see the place being taken care of again and seeing more people walking around. The only thing this area is good for is a potty stop if you're driving to/from California. You could throw in a few bucks to try your luck at a slot machine, but that's about it. You can't even walk through the dead mall anymore. The restaurants are nothing to write home about, and even if you go to the ones surrounding the area, they almost feel like airport pricing. Same with gas, unless you're in trouble, don't get gas in this area. Despite all that, the casino bathrooms are clean and functional. That's a positive thing. What a dirty and run down hotel. Cockroaches in our room and in the hallways. Bathtub cracked and missing parts but holes left. Carpets in rooms and hallways stained and worn. Holes in wall panels . Called to report the bugs and some lady who sounded like she had been drinking said she would send somebody to take care of it. They never did come as bugs still there in the morning. Pictures I took, prove the time. Counters in the room had food crumbs and were sticky. Ice machine rusted And drain filthy.The only thing clean was the bed. The health department needs to come in. The building is in really bad shape. Would love to show the pictures that I took. Tried to report to the manager but was told she wasn't working today. I did leave a list of the issues I found. This place and the outlets should just be bulldozed. It's obviously a tired property--the garbage out front of the main entrance looks atrocious. Do they ever clean it? You hit a jackpot and wait forever, the slot attendant doesn't have a pen or paper, and when you finally get your money, they can't even break it down for a tip. Pure bush league. $6.50 ATM fee--why you are not a Strip property? The gift shop is a joke--who's buying a $29 Bonnie & Clyde T-shirt? I liked to stay at Primm and comped rooms and saw concerts but had to pay the resort fee which is fine but I was overcharged for all of my recent stays. If I had to pay the extra fee I would have kept going into Vegas. Last couple of times I just slept in my car. Primm is what it is as long as you don't expect a 5 star experience. I will never stay there again unless to use my free play, use the facilities or get a slice of pizza. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. We stopped here for a reasonably priced motel on our way to LA from Montana. The shower didn't look like it had ever been cleaned and the carpet creeped us out, but the towels and sheets were clean, I think. The only place to eat in the entire town is McDonald's, unless you want a hot dog or pizza by the slice in the casino. I saw no security around the hotel and anyone could come and go in and out the many doors to the parking lots. I honestly was glad to see our vehicle, unscathed, still in the parking lot in the morning. It looks like the whole place is about to go bankrupt with closed casinos, restaurants, and hotels.....and I'm assuming the roller coaster isn't open either. lol Somehow God took pity on us and there was a decent Starbucks at the gas station so we could caffeinate enough to get the heck out of town! read more

I hope this review helps someone, even a truck driver that would be better off sleeping in his truck in the parking lot...This place is serious trash. Checking in the woman must hate her job, the inside is rundown as well as the rooms are complete garbage. Once i got in the room your skin just feels dirty and disappointed. Definitely not worth eating here, I seen other reviews say the food taste and quality are terrible.We went to see about it anyways because we were hungry and seen a line with one person working. I never post reviews but I feel like I need to warn other people as to the unethical practices of this casino. Me and the wife stoped at prim for a break from our trip to stretch our legs. Went In and I decided I needed some cash before I ended up in Las Vegas. Used one of the ATM machines in the casino for $500. It did not disperse the cash. I called an attendant over and they were able to look at the transaction and it said (did not disperse). They told me that they had problems with this ATM. They told me that it would drop off my bank before it posted. I tried to talk to a manager to get a print out just in case. That's when things got weird. They said there was no managers on duty and they couldn't do anything. Well 3 days later and they took the money from my account. After some research I found out that the casino is closing down. After contacting my bank they said there is no recourse because I have no proof. So needless to say I'm just out $500. I'm just a hardworking man taking the wife on a much needed vacation. This place is unethica. Do not stop at prim at state line. You will be scammed with no one to help. I tried to resolve this with a employee in the cashiers cage named DeDe. I spent Sat. 01/17/26 at the Primm Valley Casino/Resort and had a wonderful time. For starters, I got to enjoy both NFL games at The Saloon, a great choice for any sporting event including free UFC viewing ( $7 Burger and Beer special and comfortable seating! ). Afterwards I saw George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic at the Star of the Desert Arena ( a 6500 seat facility with good acoustics and sight lines ). It was a joy to see one of the pioneers of soul, funk and R & B still bringing it with such passion after all these years. All in all a day I'll long remember -- I highly recommend stopping by the Primm Valley Casino/Resort to see what they have to offer. read more

Absolutely terrible experience last night, not one but TWO roaches in the room, the floor was filthy, the countertops had sticky crap all over them, no towels or wash cloths in the bathroom and no fridge. It's almost like who ever cleaned it only changed the linens and nothing else. half the machines in the casino were down...also the Ice Machine had RUST all over the dispenser. Banda MS's performance brought the crowd to its feet playing many of their most popular songs. It was definitely a party like atmosphere as confetti and balloons were scattered amongst the crowd. The band sounded and looked great as they entertained for close to two hours. Their enthusiasm and interaction with the crowd was great. They even welcomed a couple on stage for all to witness a marriage proposal. For this being my first Banda Music concert, I must say I throughly enjoyed it. read more

usually don't leave reviews, but I felt I needed to share this experience. I booked a room and bought tickets for my mom's birthday so she could watch her favorite group perform. We were really looking forward to a special and memorable night. At check-in, the staff was friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, once we got to our room, it was extremely cold. We tried turning on the heater, but it wasn't working. We called the front desk and were told someone would come up to check it. After waiting over an hour with no one showing up, I had to walk down to the front desk again to follow up. Shortly after, someone finally came to inspect it and told us it needed to be fixed. We were then moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room was even worse. It was dirty, and there was dried vomit on the side of the bed that had been covered with a towel. The heater in that room was also very loud and made it impossible for my family to get any sleep. What was supposed to be a special birthday celebration turned into a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. I hope the hotel takes cleanliness and maintenance more seriously so other families don't go through the same situation. read more

After both Whisky Pete's and Buffalo Bill's closed this is the only casino remaining in the town of Primm. Unfortunately instead of learning the lesson from the closure of these two casinos and focusing on making Primm Valley better Affinity Gaming has instead kept this casino on life support as basically a glorified slot park. I have visited this casino multiple times in hopes that it will get better but there have been few if any changes besides bringing in the Bonnie and Clyde Car and adding a few electronic table games. The game quality is terrible there are no good video poker pay tables with the best return close to 97% and on the old machines I found one of the worst games I have ever seen 6/5 DDB returning 94%, I make no exaggeration when I say that your local Dotty's or gas station has better pay tables. The players club is also very tight for a casino with the only redeeming factor being the mailers are half decent with free play, food comp and free rooms easy to obtain. The only dining option available is the cafe which also doubles as the gift shop and has a very small selection of food that is mid at best and not that cheap either. Overall this casino provides little to any value it would be a much better decision to drive the extra 30 minutes to Las Vegas where there are superior gaming and dining options rather than visiting this dying casino. If this casino wants to improve it will need to add a lot better pay tables, dining options and potentially even bring back table games otherwise I can't see any reason to visit again. read more

This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Our room was filthy when we checked in, refrigerator didn't work, holes in the drapes, hems of drapes were falling down, drapes falling off the drape rod, holes in the comforters on the bed, sheets short sheeted, shower curtain rod barely hanging on the wall, toilet roll holder falling off wall, electrical outlets didn't work, security latch on door not working. Everyone in our group had similar complaints with their rooms with things not working or broken. No valet parking, no bell hop, only two carts were available for use to take our luggage etc. to our room. Only one small diner for food. The worst hotel/casino... it should be condemned. read more

This review is only for "Star Of The Desert Area" venue itself. The venue is not one of the choice places to see a concert. The sound and lights were good but seating not the best although there is room between aisles. Staff was friendly but there really was not any where to stand that was allowed other than directly in front of your seat. The venue was not crowded so it gave us the opportunity to move up from the rear floor to an upper back location that we perferred better and only got told once we could dance in that particular area. Parking is free and drinks reasonably priced. Most likely we will not return here for a concert. As for the Night Ranger concert itself it was great and entertaining and the band did a great selection of their own hits and a few from Damn Yankees, Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Cooper. Would definately see them again at a different venue. One side note, the Buffalo Bill Casino did have a interesting Bonnie and Clyde Exhibit and a great live band performing before and after show in the bar directly outside the venue. read more

Don't come here, the place is absolutely disgusting. I would rather sleep on the railroad tracks behind my home. Primm is the only casino left at state line that is still open and it shouldn't be. Looks like a ghost town like something out of a zombie apocalypse movie but it would be safe to stay there because the zombies would think this place is too nasty. The ceiling was falling down next to the registration desk and the water coming from the ceiling was not a constant drip which means it only drips when someone flushes a toilet up stairs. Just don't come here it's gross and you'll thank me. Drive the extra 40 miles to Vegas, go to Laughlin, or go to one of the Native American casinos. They have disgusting rooms, flat beers, nasty mix drinks, very small casino floor with no table games, shitty service, and of course pee water pouring out of the ceiling. Oh and cockroach's everywhere. Just a giant pile of crap that should be shut down by the health department. I don't know who owns this place but they should be ashamed of themselves, your establishment is a bad joke and I will never return read more

Zero stars if I could!! Stayed there 3 nights in mid December - last night there at 12:30 a.m. I woke up hearing water running. I went into the bathroom and the ceiling was pouring water all across the back end of the room! It was literally raining in there. I had to go to the front desk who gave me another room telling me the room above called and their toilet was overflowing. I was getting rained on with toilet water!!! By the time I got back to the room to get my 4 dogs and my belongings the water was pouring out of the ceiling in the hallway next to my room and had reached the carpet in the room. I was in too much of a rush to video or take pictures - and at 1:00 a.m. not thinking too clearly. I told them I wasn't paying to that night. The gal at the front desk agreed but never took the charge off my total bill. I've called and called. They either hang up, the call disconnects or it rings forever. I did reach "Florence" last week who said she'd have her supervisor call. Nothing! As expected. BBB is unable to get hold of them as well. Don't waste your $$ here. They're closing at the end of the year and the place is totally run down. Holes in the walls, paint coming off - its a mess. Also, no place to eat and no live dealers in the casino. All machines that suck up your money - they aren't paying out since they're closing the doors in 2026!! read more

I was very excited for my stay here since we were coming in for an event "stateline takeover". Everything was great until we checked in and the receptionist gave attitude to us and security's treated us in a discriminatory manner. They were not allowing us to park in the resort parking because they had a high end event going on for dogs. Apparently we are not as important as those people with their dogs. The security said we were ghetto for riding can-ams. This will be the last time I ever stay at this place. Definitely don't recommend this place. Plus they had dog poop in the walkways going to our room. read more

Rude front desk female gave us a room in the old area awful smell and a incredible damaged room with leaks above the stall, fire alarm went off at 3am and no one showed up for 30 minutes to assist us guests or at least inform us what was going on, I will never book a reservation at this place ever again ... read more

Be very careful when using your players card and I tell you why. I was there the weekend of Keith Sweat concert came in Friday left Sunday. Friday and Saturday I played alot on the machine so both days I got 50 percent off both days. So when on Sunday when I went to check out the cashier told me she couldn't honor them because down below something was stating you had to turn them in the day you received then which didn't make since to me since my checkout date wasn't till Sunday. This must be something new but check to ticket when getting 50% off resort fee their very slick. I ask to speak to a manager she wasn't there I called several times left messages never got a reply. Bad enough machines were eating up my money and to get play out of resort fees was enough for me. That place has really gone down how . read more
