Fun live music nights at the casino and they serve hot dogs! Won a $25 hot seat while gambling too!

We love the staff here. The servers are so personable. The duces is a great breakfast...my hubbys favorite. Our daughter loves the chicken fingers kid meal. I love their patty melt...one of the best I've ever tried. Their cheese steak is very tasty too. It's old....and definitely not anything fancy....but for itty bitty Searchlight it's pretty good.

Not much in between Vegas and Laughlin so Terribles Roadhouse gets three stars. Also a super nice bartender. Otherwise it's a sad place with a small casino (slots) and a Denny's. Two entrances but go in the one that says saloon. L-shaped bar with maybe 15 well padded "Vegas" stools. Poker machines mostly but the inner part of the L has a couple normal bar seats. Back bar is shelves, bottles and HDTVs. Some low tables in front of bar. Also a dance floor and live music on weekends. Smoking of course. Assume the food is from Denny's but didn't eat. $2 beers hard to complain about.

    It's now a Denny's - so expect a Denny's- very COVID compliant. Connected to a casino

Service is terrible, servers are crabby. Would rate the food, but after over 30 minutes still have not received a simple breakfast order!

The wife planned a road trip night out at the Idle Spurs Saloon. We both own property in Sandy…read moreValley and actually love to support the local establishments as opposed to private equity bars etc that are now taking over America. The idle spurs, a once somewhat unassuming bar on Sandy Valleys main drag; has received a facelift on the exterior and also the interior. It has been somewhat transformed into an old time saloon. Kudos on the transformation, a little bit has gone a long way. It has been several years since I have stopped in for a pop here, and my wife has never been. We entered the bar and saw approximately 5 other patrons in the bar; mostly gaming at the bar top and 2 vaping in the lot. I noticed a few patrons out back behind the bar through the back door as well, there is a horseshoe pit back there: I wasn't aware of that. A nice feature if you ask me. We sat down and ordered a beer each, Sam Addams and a Coors light: the beers were delivered cold and promptly and we ran a tab as we figured we would stay for a few beers as our plan was to then go to the Pioneer Saloon. We conversed with one of the locals who came in, a very nice older gentleman who had lived in the area since 1988. What we were unaware of was the fact that it was Karaoke night. At about 640 a man came in, Jim was his name, and began setting up a karaoke stage. Within minutes, people started trickling into the Idle Spurs. Patrons were making their karaoke stage reservations and before I knew what had happened, the Idle Spurs Saloon suddenly was packed and rivaling the occupancy of any Las Vegas locals bar. Brian the bartender is truly a gem. One bartender working about 35 customers and nobody was waiting very long at all for a drink. He crushed it. I'm not quite certain I have ever been in a bar like this one. The locals were all so inviting and friendly. We were the outsiders, albeit land owners there, we don't actually reside in town. Nobody seemed to care, as we were embraced and welcomed by everyone we came in contact with. Jim, who ran the karaoke, has just about every song imaginable in his program. I was so relaxed and felt like such a part of the town, that even I took the stage and sang. The Idle Spurs Saloon is truly a one of a kind stop, harkening back to days gone by, where people weren't glued to a cell or constantly taking selfies or watching tic tok reels. This is a down home, friendly atmosphere where people are friendly, people have conversations, and people genuinely want to get to know one another, similar to what one probably encountered in the 1950's. The Idle Spurs is 100% my new favorite place to go, in the rather rare time that I may want to go out for a beer. Next time I visit I will absolutely try the snack shack, I was already full of tacos otherwise I would have tonight.

Decided to hit the dusty aka the aTV trail that runs from Mountains Edge all the way to Sandy…read moreValley when we stumbled upon the idle spurs tavern. We had a friend tell us about this place so we decided to take the drive and see what it was all about. I wouldn't be able to tell you about the drive on the roads, but headed through the desert was a pretty easy ride. The inside looks like an old saloon. The bartender was very nice and you can tell that this is a local bar that drinks are cold and cheap. Do you keep in mind that this is kind of a dive bar so you do get that stale smoke smell when you leave. We happen to have our kids with us and they were able to come in the bar and sit at a table. They do have a food truck, which I heard from local patrons that the fried mushrooms and the pizza are very good so next time we stop off here I will definitely give them a try. The bathroom was clean overall a cool little place to stop and grab a drink when you're out and about.
