This Boscov's is located in the Erie mall. The store is two floors. On the first floor are mostly clothes, and on the second floor are mostly home goods. Unfortunately, I did not find any clothes that I liked and were in my size. I, however, did find a baking sheet to buy. I had not realized that the baking sheet was on sale for only $5, so then I grabbed a second one to buy. Multiple cash registers throughout the store were open. I had to wait in line for a couple of minutes. My cashier spoke to me nicely, and he accurately rang up my purchase.

I just hung up with Justin the Sales Manager (after getting bounced to two other departments) who sounded like he was 17 years old, had marbles in his mouth and a sinus infection as well. I explained what happened and he asked me to bring them back. I again stated I was 2 hours away from his store and an hour to the nearest Macys from my home. After a number of "ummms" he offered 25 Macys bucks for his store and that was the best he could do. I wasn't looking for anything outrageous - a gift card to compensate for my time and gas....no he couldn't do anything else. Not impressed with my first time at a Macy's - definately my last!!

I arrived in Erie, PA, from Venice, Italy, without a suitcase. Lost. Probably floating in the Atlantic Ocean. Day four and I had to pull off a surprise to see my grandson who I haven't seen since the day I held him when he was born. Yes, we talk by video all of the time, but now I needed to pick him up and hug him. I could not do it in the shirt I bought from the store that shall remain nameless, the one with the crazy people they make reels about, the group of people that have their own non reality show....lawd ha' mercy, they are real! I saw them with my own eyes! Anyway, I had to be ready to surprise Antwon, and I wanted to look presentable. As luck would have it, up popped PRIMO TAILORING on my IG page. Off I went where I discovered the most magical tailor shop ever. In Erie, PA! Louis, the owner, looks like he stepped out of shop in Milano, Paris, or London. Incredible experience, great service. I needed school uniform pants hemmed last-minute, was 100% prepared to sacrifice quality and pay a premium, and had to do neither. I called ahead and Louis was able to get them done that afternoon while I waited. They look amazing and he was able to save the extra length inside in case they need to be let down again. I love my suits! I wasn't able to wear two suits because they weren't the right fit. So, they sat in my closet for YEARS. I brought them to PRIMO and they were able to alter them to fit me. Now I have two suits I can actually use. If you have an article-be it a gift or not quite right-take it in and have it fit to you. This sewing center is TERRIBLE. I called and spoke to the owner Kelly on the phone. I made…read morearrangements to bring some work out to her and have alterations done along with some patches sewn on to leather and jean jackets. We also planned a day for me to come out and drop off all the garments. So about 1 week later I took everything out to Kellys Sewing Center to drop off. I live in Harbor Creek and its a 45 minute drive one way to her shop from where I live. When I got there the shop was locked and closed with no lights on even though her website on GOOGLE busness and Yelp business stated OPEN NOW. I checked all this before leaving my house to make sure I dont waste my time effort and money. I called the phone number 4 times from the parking lot but when the automated phone answered my phone, I got a recording asking me for an access code. I could not even leave a message. So I had to drive back home. It was 1.5 hours of my time and gas in my car wasted because of this situation and I WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT. So the next day I called and some guy answered and I told him the situation and was still going to do business with them depending on how they handled this. Well the man I spoke to said to me "That's Life Buddy". He offered no explanation or apology and told me Kelly was taking a few days off out of the 4 days per week she is open. When I told him calmly that I was going to leave bad reviews on how they do business , he was rude and hung up on me. I can see they have an attitude and they will never get my business. There is no excuse for that kind of disrespect and attitude towards people that spend money at their business. It tells us all in the Erie, PA area quite a bit about their work and their business and how they treat their customers. I suggest everyone take your alterations and sewing work somewhere other than Kelly's Sewing Center where the customer is treated with respect and without this prima donna attitude. I wont ever go there again.
