His reply was the color will calm down as I wash it and with highlights will correct it. It was my first time going and I would never go back again as my first time going completely ruined the trust. He didn't cut my hair across like a normal stylist would do with scissors. He did downward strokes, possibly with thinning shears as my ends are all broken and frayed and razor scissors wouldn't do this. I only wanted my almost grown out layers trimmed and instead he added extremely short layers in a long hair cut and its all choppy and frayed and damaged looking. I'm upset because it took me forever to grow out my layers and now he started me completely over on the process which will take a couple years to grow out. I have no clue why he would do this to me. Either way I forgive him but am completely disappointed. I pray he never does this to anyone else ever again as its definitely hurtful.

We walked through the closest, but incorrect, door and was greeted so pleasantly by a stylist who graciously helped find out who was taking care of my client so she wasn't needing to move around a lot. The stylist that took my client, Alana, was so patient. She explained what she was doing, she engaged in great conversation and was accommodating for my clients needs during the cut. She spoke with my mom on the phone three weeks before the wedding, and we paid the final balance. Then, I received an email two weeks before the wedding saying she had a "scheduling error" and could not provide services as agreed. This is an unacceptable oversight. Furthermore, I contracted a makeup artist through Elle Aire as well, and when I reached out to confirm the day/time with her, she had not heard any details from the salon. She enthusiastically provided services as planned, and was fantastic to work with, but the lack of organizational and logistical leadership on part of Elle Aire was alarming. While the hair stylist who cancelled did recommend a stylist from another salon who was able to provide services (and whose work I liked even better than the original Elle Aire trial) this scenario caused unnecessary stress in the final weeks leading up to the wedding. In sum, do not book hair or makeup for major events through Elle Aire Salon, as they are not able to competently manage these bookings for a stress-free wedding experience.
