The color used doesn't last more than about 3 weeks at this salon so she did the foils on top. While I'm told my hair grows fast, I know from experience, it's also the color used & the way the highlights are put in. My last, Jan. 26, '21 visit Nancy argued a lot when I asked for longer top & side layers even though it's what I've had done at other salons for years. After arguing she really hit me w a high price, for no reason! All along this visit for roots & top foils was $64; this time I was charged $114! $50 more!! I asked why?! Prices went up. How much? Cuts $2, color $5. That math does not add up & I told her so! She broke eye contact, shrugged & repeated it was $114. I am done at a place that takes prices down then rips people off! I don't mind paying cash & I always try to tip good, even tho many don't tip an owner. Don't take horrible advantage of your customers! I know I'll find a good shop, & it'll be one that treats customers right.

It's two minutes before my appointment time. They could have called or something and told me they were behind a little bit. She said it would be a 20 minute wait... which isn't bad. The other client wasn't even there yet so this would have turned in to at least a 35 minute wait past my appointment time. The client finally showed up and they sit there chit chatting.. then she decided to go mix her color.. at this point I've already been waiting 20 minutes past my time and she hasn't even begun. So I got up and left. I received a text saying I was a no call no show. Explained what happened and the owner I'm guessing said I wasted her stylist time. No. You wasted my time by not informing me of what was going on. She was unprofessional and extremely rude. I wouldn't never go back here.

She is easy to book appointments with and has a nice variety of availability. The salon itself is bright and nicely set up. There are two nail techs and several stations for stylists. They have two shampoo sinks (where you can also get waxing done) and two dryers. Shelby has done cuts, colors and full highlights for me and also done cuts for my kids. What I like is that she is honest about what will and won't work with colors and styles. If she thinks something won't last or that you won't be happy, she will tell you and suggest alternatives that might work better. She works efficiently but you never feel rushed and her prices are very affordable. I always look and feel amazing after a visit to Shelby. Highly recommend her!

Weeks would go by with no communication despite my trying. Eventually, several months and about ten emails later (most going with no response), I sent one last email saying either book my appointment or refund my money. I did get a response then with a time and date, and I scheduled it! I had been looking forward to this facial for too long with my mother! Day came, and the Center was easy to find. The facilities were beautiful and the staff and even other clients were extremely friendly. The facial itself was amazing (you should see the GUNK that gets out of your skin), and the owner was super friendly and apologetic for the scheduling mishap. We'll be going back for more treatments and my mother even wants to plan a spa day for my cousins and aunts and me!
