We have one child in the infant room and another in the twos class, and both have received exceptional care. The teachers have been incredibly patient and supportive, especially while helping with potty training. It is clear that they take the time to get to know each child and celebrate their individual milestones. The director, Peggy, is truly the heart of this center. She is the first one in and the last one out, always making herself available to families. She is approachable, receptive, and an excellent problem solver. Communication is easy, concerns are addressed promptly, and it's obvious that she genuinely cares about every child in her center. We are so grateful for the love, dedication, and professionalism of the entire Childtime team. Knowing our children are in such caring hands gives us tremendous peace of mind. That part is on us. However, young children have accidents, especially when they are adjusting to a new environment, and I was shocked by how the situation was handled. I received a call telling me that my child had an accident and that I needed to bring shorts or pants because they were currently only in their shirt. I was also told that if I could not bring clothes, my child would remain without pants. That is the part I cannot accept. A childcare facility should still have a basic contingency plan for situations like this. No child should be left exposed, embarrassed, or without proper clothing because there are no backup options available. Even when a parent forgets something, the child's dignity and comfort should remain the priority. What makes this even more concerning is that since starting at this school, my child's confidence and self-esteem seem to have changed. They have started saying things like, "I don't use my listening ears. I never do," and "I'm a bad kid." As a parent, that is heartbreaking to hear. Children should be corrected and redirected with patience and care, not in a way that makes them internalize shame or feel like they are bad. A potty accident should be handled privately, calmly, and respectfully. It should never become something that adds to a child's embarrassment or affects how they see themselves. As a parent, it was incredibly stressful to receive that call and feel like my child's dignity was not being protected. I hope the school reviews its policy on potty accidents, backup clothing, and how children are spoken to when they are struggling or adjusting.

Second Mrs. Melissa is the worst child care person I have met. She seems like she does not like children at all and hates her job. I am shocked she has been there this long. She barely says good morning in the morning, is not friendly at all. When I drop my son off she barely pays attention to him, minding you that he is the second one there. She lets babies cry for long periods of time before she even goes and attends to them. She is always using negative words and mishandling the babies. When I randomly visited she would just be cleaning and letting the babies cry and by the look on her face she was not happy I would randomly check on my son. She would not give me any updates on how she was doing. She barely talks. One day she was mopping the floor while a baby was crawling on it and picking up food and putting it in her mouth. Other then Mrs. Melissa, I was very unhappy about the feeding and communication from everyone. They never told me what my daughter did other then their daily report that just tells me when he eats and sleeps. Another thing, my baby was on breastmilk and I would bring his breastmilk bottles only to find out at the end of the day that instead of using the milk I brought, they gave him water or regular milk. One day they even gave her formula????!! I was infuriated since she has never ever had formula..because i breastfeed! and she is pass one to be on formula. After repeately telling them to feed her milk 3 times a day with her meal, my daughter goes with only 4 oz of milk in 8 hours, how is this possible??? She breastfeed 3 hours when we got home that day. They are terrible, please do not pick this child care for your child. One more thing- even the last day I was very dissapointed. I made sure to give the director my 2 week notice 3 weeks early just to come in and the teachers did not know anything about it. They were shocked that it was her last day. No communication what soever, even though the director also helps out in this room, how can she missed out this information??

He wasn't even three months old when we enrolled in the infant class so obviously as a new first mom I'm pretty overbearing and controlling when it comes to my baby but let me just say-these people genuinely care about my son. From the director Ms. Vanessa to all the wonderful ladies who run his class you cannot find better care. When he's feeling fussy they care for him just like I would whatever he needs they're on top of it. This place is so convenient as well and considerate. Most kindercares don't open until 630 but because they have so many military families enrolled their doors open at 530! Also my sons breast feed and I was worried about pumping and giving him a bottle but he does just fine and looks at them like they hung the moon when they feed him his perfectly warm magic juice. Also they're super clean and sanitary! I mean they don't let you walk into the class without the medical booties on, they wipe down your kids crib(which no one else is allowed in) everyday and the changing pad has the throw away paper(Sorry trees). Just give this place a try. They were my last resort for care and I regret that so much. They will always be my sons favorite place to spend the day if he can't be home with me.

They rent a few rooms from a church and have no playground equipment. Just a grass patch. Babies, toddlers, and preschool kids are all in one room. They don't serve food despite the cost and they won't heat up food for your child either. Avoid if anything for how comfortable the owner is with disrespecting a parent.

To respond to another review, no, the school does not provide snacks or lunch, however, that in my experience that is not unusual - many programs (both church-based and not) do not provide food and ask that you send food that either 1) doesn't need to be warmed up or 2) in a thermos that will stay warm. The school's cost is very reasonable, especially for the love, care, and attention that is lavished on the children. If you want a preschool that supports your children, loves on them, and encourages them to grow into their best self, then NPA is a great place for them to be.

A degree in Linguistics, while valuable, does not provide the pedagogical framework or developmental understanding required to teach effectively at this level. Recognizing someone as "Teacher of the Year" who lacks a degree in Early Childhood Education not only undermines the value of that credential but also sends the message that passion alone qualifies one to lead a classroom. It took me almost a year to build up the courage to send him and in the summer of 2021 he started at Goddard. Now it's the summer of 2022 and both of our children attend Goddard. Our son is a little timid in large groups and likes to play independently, in each class his "style" has been respected. We get regular updates on his days and when a little extra attention is needed from us, his teachers have been gracious enough to help us reinforce positive behaviors at home. He loves his school and his teachers, every day he has a "great day" (his words). Navigating school and childcare in the post-pandemic has not been easy but we are always thankful and appreciative of the communication and cautiousness that Goddard places on the safety of the students and teachers. I would encourage any family looking for daycare/preschool to explore Goddard!
