I was concerned that her physical symptoms were initially dismissed as anxiety rather than being taken seriously. Communication was another issue. When I withdrew my daughter due to the ongoing problems, I was still held to the two-week notice policy. After she missed multiple days because of illness, I continued to receive payment reminders. Overall, I found the communication, handling of behavioral concerns, and response to health-related issues disappointing. Most importantly, the experience had a negative impact on my daughter. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this camp.

I showed up excited, with my husband on video call so he could join the tour virtually. The facility itself was nice, but unfortunately the tour environment didn't feel welcoming. The staff member seemed rushed, defensive in tone, and at times it even felt like the tour guide was raising her voice at me for asking standard questions (the same questions I asked at other facilities). The biggest disappointment came when I was told there actually wasn't room for my girls. Instead, we could join a waitlist at $150 per child, non-refundable, with no clear timeline for openings. They also don't disclose what number you'd be on the list. While the fee can be applied to registration if a spot opens, the lack of transparency and guarantee didn't feel right for our family. It almost felt like because they have a waitlist, they don't feel the need to be polite or welcoming to potential parents. While every parent's experience may differ, I wanted to share mine so others know what to expect.

The first month went well, but as he adjusted to the social environment, he began having age appropriate behavioral challenges, including occasionally kicking when frustrated. We worked extensively on these behaviors at home and expected to partner with the school. One day, after noticing our son was out of view on the classroom cameras for about 30 minutes, we called to check on him. We were told he had been taken on a walk around the school to help him regulate his emotions, which we appreciated. After that call, however, we began receiving frequent reports of behavioral concerns that had not previously been communicated. The director invited us to a meeting to create a plan for our son's success. We were hopeful, but we left disappointed because there was no clear action plan. During the meeting, staff expressed concerns that our son might be developmentally delayed and recommended that we see his pediatrician. We followed that recommendation, and his pediatrician found him to be average to above average developmentally, believing his challenges were consistent with adjusting to his first structured childcare environment. The deciding factor for us came when we observed classroom camera footage showing a teacher and assistant pulling our son by one arm and, shortly afterward, his lead teacher reacting to him in a way we felt was inappropriate. At that point, we made the decision to withdraw him from the school. Every family's experience is different, but we hope sharing ours helps other parents make the decision that feels right for their child, especially during the often difficult transition into daycare.

From Ms Erika to Ms Rachel the teachers have been fantastic. Ms Erika (Room 1) is so experienced with young babies that I knew my child was in good hands with her. As a first time mom she taught me many things. And capping of the experience with Ms Rachel (room 18) was perfect. She will prepare your child for kindergarten, no doubt. She gives the kids so much structure and really prepares them with reading skills. There have been some issues with teacher and staff turnover during our time but this is the unfortunate nature of the industry especially with how challenging the last few years have been (pandemic). The assistant teachers seemed to change frequently and it was hard to keep track of who would be in his room. In the past there have occasionally been communication issues but I feel that the current director has worked a lot of that out. Any issues we had, the teachers and staff have always been eager to solve. My son has enjoyed the amenities at the school like the splash pad, nice outdoor play area, Spanish and music classes and the other vendors that come in offering classes like Gymstation for sports and gymnastics and Waterloo for swimming lessons.

Primrose is a dream! The owner Jerry is there everyday and is extremely involved in the day to day operations to make sure parents and children are happy. The director Liz always has a smile on her face and willing to help in any way shape or form she can! They aren't the most affordable option in brushy creek but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. they pay their teachers the best so they end up with the best quality out there. They also have a director of curriculum and other operational specific staff. This means the school runs like a well oiled machine. Things I love about this place: 1. My 14 month old son has a young toddler specific safe playscape that they go out to twice daily. He LOVES the outdoors and climbing all over the place with friends! 2. Teachers are qualified and super sweet 3. Friday family memo goes out every week which includes weekly school activities (dress up days, celebrations etc, school calendar) 4. The chef is fantastic and my kids love the food she makes! 5. Low turnover. Director and owner know everyone both parents and kids by first name 6. Daily app explains what food they ate pictures, curriculum etc. 7. my children love going there! My daughter recently started kinder and though we like not having a daycare bill we really miss the insights and pictures and summaries of activities throughout the day. He began at Stepping Stone and, due to a move, continued preschool at Goddard. I feel the need to mention the names of the other schools solely because it was hard to choose between the three. I've also attended several tours when searching for a suitable school and only considered the highest rated ones in my area each time. Please understand that my son and I had a wonderful experience at each school. That being said, Primrose has exceeded all expectations and impresses me beyond words. I cannot begin to describe how incredibly thankful I am for my son to be able to attend this school. The administrative staff, Kortnee, Juli, and Michelle, are absolutely wonderful to interact and coordinate with. The communication here is impeccable. Any incident or concern is immediately addressed with a phone call. They are prompt to respond to messages through the app or email as well as discussing any matters in person. Each day we are greeted by name with a welcoming smile and a "good morning" or a sweet "goodbye". Each staff member fosters a relationship with every child to a point that makes me wonder how they're able to retain such quality, personal knowledge of every single child. Their genuinity sincerely warms my heart and helps gains my trust. THE TEACHERS, OH MY GOODNESS, THE TEACHERS HERE ARE OUTSTANDING. The morale is reinforced with physical notes that acknowledge and praise every student's improvement seen throughout the year. They are authentic, hand written, and personalized for each child. Her demeanor makes apparent how much she truly enjoys her job and she puts her whole heart into helping the kids learn. The twinkle in her eye and excitement in her voice when she speaks about and interacts with them makes me tear up. I've never once seen her without a contagious smile on her face. This is the only person, not just teacher, I've ever met that shares the same parenting style as me. She consistently displays a level of emotional intelligence that is rare to encounter. She speaks to the children with respect and understanding and helps guide them into thinking with moral and logical reasoning. Ms. Monte does not limit her responsibilities to academic education, she also forms their character by modeling how every human should act. If every teacher were like her, then I know for a fact future generations would thrive and redefine societal standards. I know this may come off as a bit extreme, but what I say is what I truly feel and believe. I couldn't ask for a better influence for my son. Mr. Flores is such a joy to have. He, too, always has a bright smile on his face and tells me how my son's day went with detailed knowledge and a cheerful demeanor. His written notes and personal interactions show recognition to my son's progress which increases his confidence and encourages him to pursue new challenges. Mr. Flores does an excellent job fueling my son's desire to learn. He is also very kind and patient with the students and his studious conduct projects onto the children in a productive way. I am so glad he is part of my child's daily life. Ms. Kaitlyn is great as well! I don't get to interact with her as much, but she has always been wonderful and attentive every time I see her in the classroom. I'm sure you know how kids can be when asking about their day. I try to keep questions open-ended to allow my son to think and elaborate on the details and regardless, he always replies with "I don't know" or, when asked what he learned, he responds with "nothing". This is the only school that has caused him to talk about his day without me even having to ask. Not only that, but he also excitedly and proudly tells me about what he learned that day. We talk about his social interactions, his education, his thoughts and feelings, and whatever else he feels is worth mentioning. I absolutely love hearing all of it and it pleases me to know how much he genuinely enjoys attending this school. As a mother, I couldn't ask for anything more than this school already provides. The kids go on field trips, eat healthy food, learn through hands-on experience, and much more. This experience has blown me away with a standard that I never knew existed. Julie, Graham and Courtney are very incompetent and not very intelligent. I would recommend that you take notice in the high turn over on staff and the quality of staff they continue to hire! Both of my kids have VERY different personalities, and I feel like all the teachers have adapted and responded to both of their different needs so well! The owner, Ms Kathryn, has amazing communication skills and has created such a sweet community here in Manor for parents, teachers and kids. There was a parents night out recently that my oldest was begging to go to just to have a chance to be back at her old school! All of the teachers here are kind, friendly and trustworthy. We receive multiple updates and pictures per day and they have fun, interactive activities and lesson plans. My kids have gone to many different daycares, camps and schools and this has been one of our favorites jsut because it truly feels like part of our family!

We were unable to attend due to financial situations with COVID and being unable to receive the vaccine exemption form(required to attend school). I spoke with Kathryn and told her our situation. She extremely rude and condescending when I asked for a refund. She told me "I'm trying to run a business here and I don't have to tell you our refund policy." I didn't sign a form that stated their refund policy nor was I aware of it before or after the transaction. We have been effected heavily by COVID and can not afford to lose money but this business could care less about the financial situation of their families. I was given no options. They wouldn't transfer the deposit to the next quarter, no partial refund, nothing. Following writing this review I have been threatened with a lawsuit, over $150? AND HARASSED ON MY BUSINESS PAGE BY THE OWNER BOBBY!!! I am honestly not surprised with how I was treated over the phone.
