I don't leave many reviews, but this is one I was excited to write…read more Our family has been at LSP since 2024, and trusting someone else with your children every day is no small thing. From day one, this team has made us feel confident that our girls are cared for! When I went back to work and dropped off my 4-month-old for the first time, Ms. Irene gave me so much peace of mind. She treated our daughter with such care, and that feeling continued with Ms. Mairo and Ms. Anna, who have been part of her journey as she's moved up. Watching our now-confident toddler walk happily into her classroom each morning is a testament to the environment they've created for her. Our oldest has grown tremendously during her time here. Ms. Angel, Ms. Layla, and now Ms. Kris have helped her build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. As she gets ready for Pre-K, I know the foundation they've helped build will stay with her long after she leaves. The leadership team deserves recognition too. Ms. Autumn, Ms. Raquel, and Ms. Alana do an incredible job communicating with families and creating a center that feels welcoming, organized, and genuinely caring. And then there are all the little things that make a difference--the warm greetings, the fun activities, the familiar faces throughout the building, and even Ms. Robin in the kitchen, who somehow became one of my daughter's favorite people. Ms. Katie has also been a constant source of love and encouragement for both of our girls over the years. As two full-time working parents, we appreciate the dependable hours and support this center provides. But more than anything, we're grateful for the people. Daycare is hard work, and parents are trusting you with the most important people in their lives. This team never takes that responsibility lightly. Our girls feel special here. They're excited to go every morning. They come home happy with stories and excited to tell us about their day. I wish I could list every teacher and staff member who has impacted our family, because it truly takes a village. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this one.

In the first two weeks of attending A New Day, my granddaughter transformed from hesitation to excitement and wants to go to "school" even on her off days!! There are COVID health and safety precautions in place which has provided me with peace of mind. We couldn't be happier and are so pleased to have found A New Day. Highly recommend!!

They are excited every day to tell me about what they've learned, friends, teachers, art projects, and outside time. My older son has blossomed socially. Where he was once hesitant, through his experience at A New Day, he now has the confidence to approach friends, new and old. My younger son is so proud of his work that he often takes it out of his bag at pick-up time to show me. The school has fun events and learning activities throughout the year. Big hits with my kids included water play days in the summer, growing a garden, planting flowers, new playground equipment, crafts, solar system lessons, and special events for Mother's and Father's Day. The teachers and the owner, Irma, are fantastic. You could not ask for better teacher communication, and Irma even responds on nights and weekends. They send parents lesson plan information and suggest related at-home activities. I love that they use an app to share daily updates and pictures. They've captured some beautiful images of my sons, sometimes together. I don't know how they do it, but the staff has never lost one item sent to school. Finally, the hours for A New Day are better than most schools for working parents.

I wanted to love Magnolia. We carefully chose this program because it presented itself as a place…read morethat understood autistic children and used modern, supportive, ABA-informed practices. Unfortunately, our experience did not match those expectations. During a trial day, a young autistic child became upset after a developmentally typical frustration in a new environment. Instead of observing the calm support, co-regulation, and individualized approach we expected from a program with this stated level of expertise, we experienced a response that felt escalating rather than supportive. There were also concerns with the emotional regulation of the leading staff member, and online records that reinforced concerns related to emotional regulation and safety. The biggest concern was the disconnect between the program's stated philosophy and what we observed in practice. A moment that could have been handled as an opportunity for connection, regulation, and teaching instead left us questioning whether the environment was truly equipped to support autistic children in the way it represents, or any child. Ultimately I did not feel comfortable trusting my daughter to Magnolia. I am grateful we had the opportunity to see this before the school year began, but it was disappointing to have to reconsider so close to the start of school after believing we had found the right fit. Every child deserves a program whose practices match its promises.

Our son has Down Syndrome, and after a challenging experience at another school, Explorers welcomed him with open arms. They learned sign language to help him communicate and made sure developmentally he was in the commensurate age group. Most notably, they've helped him build tremendous physical strength. When we first adopted our son (age 4), he didn't feel comfortable at a playground because he didn't have the strength or balance to climb and run with other kids. Within a few months at Explorers Adventure School, he began climbing, jumping, and running - now, he slides down the tallest slide at any playground and climbs everything. He's gained so much confidence physically - It's been an incredible transformation. From a parent's perspective, their communication is top-notch. They text and email me. They are responsive and incredibly organized. And most of all, they are genuine and kind people who treat our son with respect and love. I would recommend Explorers Adventure School to anyone. It is the most equitable, adaptive and welcoming school we've been to as parents of a child with special needs.

I love one day when I was leaving daycare and the assistant director Candace was telling me about how my little Nico and another girl in class have laughing wars and it melted my heart! Lastly, I wanted to mention that Autumn has been so personable and delightful. She is a very sweet director and runs a great program and you can tell based on how many kids attend this daycare!
