Amazing food and even better service! I had delicious pizza here, fresh and full of flavor, totally exceeded my expectations. We had a tough situation after dinner: we were stuck in Princeton with no Uber or ride service to get back to Minneapolis. We were really worried and helpless. Our sweet server Alex was so kind and helpful. We explained our problem to her, and she proactively called taxi companies for us and helped us find local contact numbers step by step. Thanks to her kindness and patience, we finally got connected with a local taxi service and made it safely back to Minneapolis. Alex went far beyond great customer service. Can't say anything about the food from this visit but can comment on the service. Came in for lunch at 1:00. Waited several minutes at the host stand as it said wait to be seated. Several employees could see me standing there. After several minutes someone came and handed me a Menu and told me to "sit wherever" I sat, looked at menu and drink menu. Waited 15 minutes. Stood up several times looking for a server. No one around. So I left. Have dined here in the past and food was decent. Usually seems busy in there but not today. I can see why. read more

I've eaten here twice and I've always had a great experience. First time was with a hockey team and families. They handled the crazy we came in with so well and were great at getting everyone in our party everything they needed. The second time I stopped by was for a family dinner. Chicago, NYC, D.C., Italy, Japan, Korea, and I have to honestly say that the Pizza Pub Special I ordered at the Princeton Pizza Pub was one of the most delicious pizza recipes I've ever eaten. The beer was a pretty typical selection. Nothing great, and nothing out of the usual small town selection. I came back a few nights later and tried a Pub Pork Cuban sandwich with tater tots. We rented out their banquet room to throw a party and everything was perfect! The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating! This is the best pizza that we have tasted in years. It reminds me of the old pizza place back home. Everyone should come here at least one time and see what it's about. The pizzas are wonderful. This was my 3rd time eating here, my overall opinion is it's hit or miss. On this most recent visit the service was EXTREMELY SLOW! Arrived at 6pm and it was PACKED (perhaps TOO MUCH SO for COVID-19) placed our order at 6:15 food didn't arrive till 7:45!!! The waitress was apologetic warned that this is how weekends are. My 2 previous visits were weekdays early afternoon. On this occasion the food was hot and good, even if delayed (actually better than my other visits). We have been fans of Pizza Pub in Princeton since it opened, however we ordered takeout last evening and were seriously disappointed. When we went in to pick it up,, it wasn't even started, making us late for our event. Something to do with printer? Their menu has changed, so we couldn't get the large chef's salad we loved, but got a large (??) Chopped Salad which was watery and sad. The pizzas were NOT the same quality we were used to either. We have always had a good experience here! The pizzas are fantastic, the wings are good, all of the portions are filling. Wait staff quality is up and down but for the few that were lower skilled, they either improved quickly or were replaced quickly. The seating comfortably seats mid-sized groups, and they can accommodate large groups. Though please call ahead for groups larger than 8 or be subjected to my wife and I's snarky "you look like idiots" stair as we are seated ahead of you because you were too self-centered to think to call ahead. read more

I ordered pizza and wings for delivery and was told it should be there in a half hour. One and a half hours later i called to see where my order was. I spoke with two different people during the ordering process and they still got my address and phone number wrong. Not sure what the food is going to taste like being my first (and most likely the last) time ordering, but i'll keep you informed. By the way... When i called to check on my order, the women was very rude! Update... I was told they are remaking my order and will be out shortly. While I love the chicken Philly and the taco pizza the service here is unbelievably slow! Takes 20 minutes to have your order taken and at least 30 (closer to 40) to get your food. This is durring non peak times. I had to go to the bar to get my Drink refilled because my waitress was perusing her phone. I feel the buffet is not a good value. Salad is an extra fee. The pizzas were not labeled and since they put their pepperoni under the cheese I kept getting pepperoni pizza which I do not like. I do like the atmosphere and decor. read more

Go to the Pizza Hut down the street if you want pizza. For a place called Pizza Pub, you would think they would serve at least a decent pie. Probably the worst pizza I have ever had. Very little sauce and the crust was barely cooked. I suspect the dough is frozen. When we pointed out the crust to our server, she offered a replacement, but since it had been a very long time since the pizza had been delivered and when she checked on us, we had eaten as much of the topping as we needed to fill up and refused the replacement. She did reduce the bill by $5.00, which was some compensation for a terrible meal. One star is one more than this place deserves for it's pizza read more

I've been here a few times while visiting my parents who live in town. The food has been good each time. Each time, though, the service has been terribly slow. Slow to get orders taken, slow just to bring drinks, forgotten salads, and entrees slow to arrive. When the food finally arrived, it was pretty good. We have been here several times and the only thing I dislike is the musty smell as you walk in the door. Otherwise, we have never had an issue. The pizza is always amazing!
