The front desk staff at the time I went was very hot and cold. First starting very defensive and not being kind that I was not aware I needed additional paperwork (I moved states) and then ending my saying they will do their best to help me. Overall unclear if I am going to go back considering I was highly frustrated with the communication and initial interaction (which is such a shame because the PTs seem to be knowledgeable).

I worked with Aakanksha over the entire time and I've come out the other end 99.9% pain free - around 8 months in total. She was very patient and helpful in understanding how to progress my mobility and reduce pain, we tried lots of different exercises each week to figure out what worked. Absolutely fantastic. I'm extremely happy I was able to avoid surgery and I can't be more grateful.. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming as well - the other PTs and the front desk too.

The majority of what bothered me wasn't that they breached HIPAA law several times in a phone call to me: they fed to me someone else's date of birth, and instead of asking me to give them information about myself for them to confirm my identity, they fed me this information. Again, before they knew I was me. But I was ready to excuse the person who made the mistakes. I did want to prevent it from happening again, though. It was the ways the clinical director handled it that really frustrated and angered me. When I expressed concern to the m, while they acknowledged that a mistake was made, they responded with a lot of assertions about tangential policies instead of the issue itself; they didn't assure me that they and/or the location would work to avoid the same kind of mistake in the future; when I addressed this hole in a second in-person conversation about it, they claimed they made this assurance in the previous conversation, citing lines they never expressed in that previous conversation; in the same, second in-person conversation, they told me they talked with the person who broke HIPAA law, and less than three minutes later, when I asked them if they talked with the person, they expressed their 'Yes' in a high voice -- very unconvincing. The clinical director's physical therapy guidance also lacked the level of care for movement quality and level of attention in general that I want for my own healing or that of anyone I care about.

During this time he did not tell me when he would start and he did not apply local anesthesia. Did not say "little pinch" nor "big pinch" At one point I actually screamed "what the hell are you doing?!" And. When he was done he actually said see you're all better! And rubbed my head like I was a child. The braggadocio! The racism! Uhhh no. I'm 46 and No one has ever rubbed or patted me on the head. No PoC would ever. Perhaps God sent me there to teach. Perhaps there is no God. But he bout to learn something. Honey this is not okay." Hima is extremely kind and optimistic and knowledgeable. She gave me the tools to handle flair ups when they inevitably happen, but from the time I started seeing her to finishing I went from not being able to walk very much and feeling pain every day, to exercising again with minimal pain and anxiety of reinjury. At one point I even strained something in my hip while I was out of town, and she responded to my panicked email immediately, giving me guidance. She even helped me prepare physically for moving apartments. Treatment from her is very personal and I appreciated it so much. Especially when an injury-that you feel is ruining your quality of life-can be so emotional. The facility is kind of small and can feel chaotic when it's busy, but I didn't mind too much.
