I was having ongoing issues with the print head on my epson printer and after trying to find a local repair service who could fix, it I soon realized I needed an authorized epson repair service. Unfortunately there weren't any close to where I live but I called the one closest To me. I was very fortunate to have talked to Howard at printer repair pros. He was extremely knowledgeable , and honest. He knew exactly what was wrong with it and ordered the part. He then called me when it came in. After finding out I was coming from out of town to get it fixed , and that meant needing to go on a weekend , he quickly offered to do it on a weekend for me while I waited. i went to lunch and when I was done my printer was ready and now it works great! Tried multiple times to call this business at 3PM on a Monday. This should be typical business hours. Regardless, I continually was met with a voice mail asking me to bring my printer in....its a massive EPSON 9900, it doesn't fit in a car, it requires on-site repair. The idea in 2017, in the age of mobile phones, and call forwarding, I can't get a live person on a phone is laughable to me. I will be calling another company and hope for better results. read more

My Epson Perfection V800 Photo Scanner was making really strange sounds and the power button lit up red, so I took it to Howard at Printer Repair Pros. He quickly found that the printer Lock had been switched on - likely while dusting. I could have been badly embarrassed, but he turned it into a friendly lesson on safe transportation and showed me the upper lock, too. His shop was spotless, well organized and extremely efficient. I agree with the other reviews. Printer Repair Pros is the best. Howard is a true professional in both his repair skills and his customer service. In addition to impeccable work, he will tell you to save your money if the printer isn't worth fixing, and get this, he answers the phone when you call! No faceless recorded messages. It's the personal touch that is fast disappearing, yet it makes such a difference. However, even though the above alone rates him five stars, it's not the reason for this review. Recently, my Epson R3000, which is an indispensable part of my business, stopped working. As if that wasn't bad enough, it happened just days after the one-year warranty expired. Obviously, I was not a happy camper. Howard stepped in. He contacted Epson, then called me the very next day to tell me that Epson had agreed to honor the warranty and that my brand new R3000 had arrived via overnight delivery. But that's not all! When I hooked it up, it showed a printer error and wouldn't run. I spent hours online trying to resolve the problem, with no success, and by the end of the day, I was desperate and took the printer back to Howard. I watched as he tried every possible solution but still got the same error message. By now it was after 6:00. He could have given up and returned the printer to Epson. Nope. Little by little, he took it apart, right down to the bare bones, until about an hour later, he found a tiny pump, tweaked slightly out of place. He made the correction, put all the pieces back together, and carried my beautiful, perfectly running R3000 out to my car. No charge. What else I can say? It's a no-brainer. I have a Work Force 615 printer that would not scan. The scan bar kept moving to the right whenever it was requested to scan. Finally, when at the most right position, the toothed drive belt viewable through the scan window would make a grinding noise as it tried to go more to the right. I read the trouble shooting instructions without help and finally called EPSON Customer Service. The technician had me go through the same procedure and still no help. Finally, they gave me a listing of local repair shops and I called Printer Repair Pros and talked to Howard (I think). After explaining to him he said to turn the power off and push the ink module fully to the right by hand and turn the printer back on. I did that and, by magic, the printer now works as it should. I think the problem happened when we had a power failure and the printer locked in a situation where it did not know how to escape. read more

I just had to write. It was July 3, 2014 when I hoisted my Epson WorkForce 1100 to Howard at Printer Repair Pros. I use the Epson WorkForce very sparingly, mostly to print addresses on large 9" X 12" envelopes. But recently I've printed some 13" x 17" documents and some 8 1/2" x 11" photos that have come out looking just beautiful which brought to this situation to mind. There was a feeding mechanism problem. Howard fixed the printer on the spot. I thought the problem was going to be much more serious.
