Very disappointed and won't be returning. Ask for prices before you purchase. They should tell customers up front about price increases. Horrible quality and experience. After reading all the positive reviews I decided to give this place a shot to replace the rear glass on an iPhone 14 Pro. Upon pickup we noticed dried sealant oozing out of the sides. The glass was not aligned properly as there are gaps on the top and right side. Even worse the glass was protruding out a bit at the edge of the camera jump to the point my old case wouldn't even fit anymore. What a piss poor job replacing this glass. We showed our concern but were just told that's the best that could be done and they gave us a cheap case that fit to try to ease our concern. After a few days without even dropping the phone we noticed the glass had cracked, probably from the pressure of how poorly this was installed and misaligned. This is unacceptable for the price we paid. I hope they can reach out and make this right. read more

Okay this is my first review for any cellphone repair place but I really do owe it to this location. Huge shoutout to George and Romeo for taking good care of me and my phone! I was in a horrible situation where my phone screen got damaged, I wasn't able to contact any friends/family or call a ride share service to go back home. George got my phone fixed quickly, didn't try and overcharge me or pressure me to buy any other accessories. The screen he used is high quality and super clear. There are several phone repair places in the mall on the lower floor but I would suggest you go up to the second level and use their services instead. read more

I know it's not the primary function of this store, but I think the integrity of the store that sells sells counterfeit blind boxes and the shady clerk telling me it's authentic speaks for itself. If they're selling one type of counterfeit item, then use your judgement if you can trust whatever else they're selling. I came in there for to look for a phone case but they didn't have it, but then got scammed for something for so small, like was that $12 worth it? I cracked my phone really bad and the screen was bleeding, I was unable to lock it and was out of a phone for 5 freaking days. Worst feeling ever!!! No access to contacts, my social or banking information. Anyways I finally got the replacement and walked into Verizon my carrier to assist me sadly I went to 3 Verizon stores and no one could help me get my information transferred over from my old phone to the new phone. I wasn't able to unlock the broken phone and its been a freaking nightmare all week. Anyhow I was referred to this store by Verizon and what a game changer cuz Romeo to the rescue. I explained the issue and he assured me that he would get it handled. I had my reservations because why would other stores turn me away and how are you able to do it he was able to explain to me what he was going to do and sure enough he did that and he handled my situation. It took a while due to all the data I had on my precious phone. I'm super thankful for them for taking care of this and I would highly recommend. I had a horrible experience with The Fix from beginning to end. I called them on a whim to take in my phone to have the back glass replaced. I asked them how long it would take and they said one hour and thirty minutes. I arrived at 2 pm and dropped it off. I asked again how long it would take, and they said an hour and a half. left the store at 2:10. I returned at 3:45, (with an extra five minutes) and they said they needed another 30 minutes saying the hour and a half wasn't up yet. I mentioned that I left at 2:10, and the guy upfront had the audacity to rudely and sarcastically ask me "Are you sure it wasn't 3:10?" Anywho, I gave them the additional 30 minutes. Upon my return, they said they needed another 10 minutes to "clamp the back on" so it wouldn't fall off OR if I have a phone case, I could leave that on for two hours and it should be fine. Not sure why they wouldn't account that in the time they tell customers, but ok. UPDATING TO ADD: My back camera DOES NOT work either. This is soooo pathetic. I get home, and I realize my phone's flashlight is broken and shattered which it was NOT when I dropped it off. What a horrible, poor excuse of a phone repair shop. Their customer service: 0, their work ethic: 0, and worst of all, their integrity: 0. Do NOT recommend at all. Waste of $145. read more

I have gone to The Fix to have 2 different phones prepared. Both times I left with jobs that were half repaired. I will say that their customer service is good, and they respond quickly to Yelp inquiries with estimated. The first time I dropped my phone in the ocean literally. The phone mostly worked. But the camera stopped working. I was given a quote and when I got in the store, I was told a slightly higher price. When I told them of my Yelp quote they agreed to honor it. When it was time to pick up my phone they told me that the phone was mostly repaired but I wouldn't be able to hear through the ear speaker and the back camera didn't work. Oh and the color of my display was different, and not vibrant which they pointed out after. . I couldn't be too mad because he showed me a picture of the phone and it was filled with sea salt. :/ The second time I dropped my phone and broke the glass to the lens. It was ok for a few days then the pictures started coming out blurry. I messaged the Fix through Yelp and explained that the lens and glass needed to be replaced on my phone. He thought I meant the back glass then I clarified that only the lens needed to be fixed and the glass that covered it. I was quoted $49 for one camera lens replacement. When I got in, I showed the person at the front what my problem was and told him I needed the lens repaired. He said he would clean the lens and repair it for $49. Great. When I returned, they only replaced the glass covering my lens. : | I said I thought you were going to r repair the lens. My pictures are still blurry. He said the glass is the lens. I said no that's not the lens the lens is the curved part. He said no that's the camera. Again : | I told him that I wouldn't have paid $49 just to cover the lens of the lens is the problem. He said it would be $109 to replace the whole camera. I told him never mind and he gave me a discount since we had a misunderstanding so it cost $25. I ended up going to Apple and they were able to give me a new lens for $80 (less than the fix quoted.) I wish I had gone to Apple first instead of spending $25 here. I think they probably do good work. But for me they missed the mark both times. I'd say give them a try for sure for something like a broken screen though. Also make sure you are clear on what needs to be done. They are located upstairs need La Curacao and across from Forever 21. read more

Be careful when they say they have a lifetime warranty. It is the kind of warranty where you need to pay even if you do not break anything! They installed the screen protector on my phone, and when I got home, I noticed that there was a bubble of air on the side. I thought it would go away (big mistake!) The bubble got bigger and bigger, and I could not text well with the keypad keys on the left. To say that it was irritating is an understatement. My husband brought the phone back to the store exactly one week after the purchase with the receipt. They charged him $10 fee though I did nothing to the screen. It was their mistake and not mine. I do not think that this is a good way to treat customers. The warranty covers the customers' mistakes, not the stores'. If I was the one who broke the screen, it would be different, but it was clearly an installation mistake. My husband thought about buying a phone cable from them, but after they charged him, he changed his mind. Before I used this store, I used the carts at Northridge mall for screens and never had any problems. I think I will go back to that. I am attaching the text of all the warranties on the receipt. Update: 8/24 My speaker and GPS stopped working several months ago. Occurred to me that maybe a wire was loose. George checked it out.
