This was not my first time here, but very much my first time reviewing it. I was VERY reluctant to come back here. Unfortunately, my smallest fry had some ear pain and I was certain that their main competitor was busy after 6pm. So we reluctantly went. I was rather pleased when I saw the "Under new management" sign on the door. And boy does it show! First, this place wasn't busy (until after we left) The lady at the front desk was very friendly and quick with all the paperwork. The gentleman that took us back for vitals and whatnot was also very nice to my kiddo. And the PA-C Carolina Johnson was exceptional. Very nice, great bedside manner, and brought medication for my son's pain as well as quickly expediting his Rx. I won't hesitate to come back here for another visit. read more

The care provider was probably the most rude and nastiest person I have ever met. She basically said after several interactions for me to get out she wasn't gonna treat me. I have never been treated like that in my life. I am 76 years old. And certainly not a nasty aggressive person. I was shaking when I left there. That's how mad I was. I do not know the name of the lady, but I will tell you this; I believe she is Jamaican and she wears typical Jamaican garb. I am not a racist. The nurse on the phone through insurance recommended I go to a Doc or the ER, so I went to this office which is the closet Urgent Care to me. I wish I had read the reviews first, but what can I say, I was sick. This place was the biggest waste of time. I walked in just after noon on a weekday, the place was totally empty, I had passed someone leaving as I walked in and that was the only other patient I saw. I waited over half an hour to see someone - OK, maybe it was lunchtime - and then was taken back. The tech took BP, temp and perfunctory nose swabs to test for Covid (I had tested at home) and then I sat for another 20 minutes. A person came it. No introduction, no name tag, no title, I have no idea if this person was a medical professional or a cleaner. They told me that my tests came back negative for Covid and Flu maybe? Can't remember. They listened to my lungs since I was a bit congested and coughing, told me that they would not prescribe anything because they couldn't treat for Covid, and would not give me a different anti-viral even though they had just told me I had a virus. I had made a point to get there well within 48 hours of symptom onset pretty much just to get an anti-viral. But I didn't argue - I was sick, remember? They asked me to wait for some reason - again, can't remember, sick. I waited around for 10 minutes in the exam room and then I just got up and left. I have no idea what I was waiting for, and why I was left sitting when there were literally no other patients in the building. But at least now I know why there are no other patients in the building. If I could give zero stars I would. My husband, son and I visited the Halethorpe location for strep and covid testing. We never got the test results, even when I called for them. We were billed over $200 each for absolutely nothing. When we tried to call to dispute the charges, it is impossible to get anyone on the phone. When we finally did get someone, were told to go to the location, who said they could not do anything. AVOID at all costs. I would go to the ER and wait 6 hours over this place. read more

The provider was a very nice lady, but she made a major technical error. She said that strep throat can't be transmitted through the air and can only be transmitted through "bodily fluids" (kissing, etc). Thinking about it afterwards, I figured that since a talking human emits thousands of tiny saliva droplets per second, each capable of carrying millions of bacteria, she can't possibly be correct. Sure enough, my Google search confirmed it. Anybody who follows her advice will pass their strep throat infection to their friends, family, and co-workers. Conclusion: Listen to what she says, but take it for a grain of salt, and always double-check with either Google or an actual physician. read more

I had contacted/been to several different urgent care facilities to attempt to get both a rapid and PCR test, and found Priority Care to be by far the most accommodating. I Did not have no mask or none in my car .... Well I ask the lady at the front desk for a mask .... We don't have anymore so we can't see you WAWA sell mask ..... I took my daughter here on the weekend due to an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. She was prescribed a steroid (3 ml per day for 3 days). I took her to her pediatrician the next day to find out that the correct dosage was 12.5 mg for 5 days. The entire bottle I was prescribed from this urgent care wasn't even enough for one appropriate daily dose. I sent an email to this location to complain and was told that the provider erred on the side of caution because she is not my daughter's pediatrician. If you cannot properly treat children then don't advertise on your site that you treat pediatric patients. Don't waste your time or money going here. I do not recommend this facility. I attempted to get my daughter treatment here, but they didn't have the proper equipment (to run a blood test) to treat her and told us to go to the ER. However, I was still charged for a full visit. I paid my co-pay the same day. Over a month later they attempted to charge my card again without my authorization. When I called the office to resolve, I was told there was nothing they could do and they had authorization to charge my card a remaining balance (not really sure what was remaining as I paid the co-pay even though my daughter did not receive treatment). They were very nasty and rude with my daughter and myself from the moment we walked in the building until the moment I made the phone call concerning this unauthorized charge. I suggest to everyone I know to go to another urgent care facility. Do not do business with unscrupulous people. read more

Doctor Young Lee was very professional as was the RN that took my vitals. However one of the receptionist made it a point to ask me if my dog (who was in my truck) had water because it was 80 degrees out. It wasn't that she asked me regarding the water, it was the tone of voice and attitude that was unacceptable. All 5 windows in my truck where cracked a quarter way down including the sliding window in the back. Inside the truck I also have a Petmate Mason Replenish for pets. It is a 2 gallon jug that filters water into a bowl for the dog to drink out of. My dog also has chew toys inside the truck as well. As I was leaving the clinic the receptionist gave me a glare which I did not respond to or acknowledge. This conduct is totally unprofessional and I will not be back to that location. I have had pets my entire life and I know the do's and do not's of ownership. I should have demanded a refund for their rudeness and attempt to single me out as a cruel pet owner. This place is TERRIBLE, they turned my daughter away saying that she had a primary insurance, which was not the one listed. I feel like they just didn't want to see my daughter. I have went through nothing but trouble since leaving there. We did a full investigation with her primary insurance and she should have never been turned away. The front desk did not do what they should have, she chalked it up and told us we would need to pay $200 initially, then however much for tests! I had to take my daughter into an ER full of actually sick people. How is that fair to my children? Someone needs to figure it out at this place!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM WITH POOR PATIENT CARE and ridiculous billing practices! I wish I could give them negative stars! I went for a persistent cough x 1.5 weeks and cold symptoms. The physician could barely speak English and he only prescribed an antibiotic. When I asked for a cough medicine, he told me to take OTC cough medicines. I explained that I have been tried 3 different kinds for the 1.5 weeks that I had the cough and had no relief. I also explained that I could barely make it up my stairs at home without being out of breath from the cough. I specifically asked for Tessalon pearls, and he told me that they are OTC. I explained that I work in a pharmacy and know that it are a prescription cough medicine. He told me that I should really stick to OTC cough medicine and that long-term cough medicine use has serious negative implications. I asked again for Tessalon pearls and he said he would have to look into them. When he came back with my script for the antibiotics and my discharge information, he told me that he found out that it was an Rx medication and he wrote me a script for them. I think it's ridiculous that I had to beg for a common Rx cough medicine. Based on the way he acted about it, you would've thought that I was begging for a narcotic. It also makes me question where he got his medical degree. I also had challenges with the nurse. During my intake she asked when last menstruation was. I told her the date and she reconfirmed for a THIRD time that I don't take birth control. I explained that I have very irregular periods buts there is no chance of pregnancy. She raised her eyebrows and it was very apparent that she did not approve of my decision not to take birth control. She rudely said "well you know we're going to have to do a pregnancy test, right?" I completely understand the need for the test but not necessarily the need for the rudeness and judgement surrounding the choice not to use oral contraception. I took the test and they did not even tell me the results. I have to specifically ask for them on my way out, knowing that they'd be negative but I was upset that they treated me so poorly. Next, I asked for a doctors note to work from home the following day because of the cough. It was bothersome to others in the office so I was asked to telework but I needed a doctors note. They handed it to me with my discharge paperwork but I didn't think to review it before leaving (mostly because it's a simple task and I was irritated with the other issues). When I went to scan it to work the flllowing day, I noticed it didn't say what I asked for. Mind you, I had to repeat it 3 times for the physician to understand what what I was asking for. Clearly even then, he didn't understand. He wrote that I should be off work, so my supervisor did not accept it for telework because the physician wrote the note as though I should not work (I was fine to work, the cough was just bothersome to my coworkers!), costing me 10 hours of sick leave. Lastly, and most upsetting, they charged me a "global fee". I called my insurance when my credit card was charged WITH NO courtesy call or forewarning for the outstanding balance. I was outraged by my insurance because I have excellent insurance and pay hefty premiums. My insurance had me on hold for over 20 Minutes trying to figure out what the global charge was. The insurance explain that they had to go to their managers and then to the Internet to figure it out. She said that she had never seen that charge before and at her managers had never seen it before either, but apparently it is a legitimate charge that providers can add when they bill an out-of-state insurance. I find this completely ridiculous that multiple insurance employees with many years of experience have never seen this charge before. I called to speak to their billing representative, Sandy, but they explained that she is working from home while she gets her chemotherapy. I still have yet to hear back from her. I feel as though if you can't handle your job while you are sick, you need to take medical leave or refer my case to someone who can handle it in a timely manner. I would not send anyone to this location or any locations in the Priority Care franchise. I received awful care and was ripped off by the practice. I will never return here! $125 later, to be judged for my fertility choices, to have to beg for a common cold medicine for a cough that was keeping me from sleeping and climbing the stairs at home, to have my calls dodged by their billing rep, and to barely understand the physician's discharge orders because of his language barrier. I will never go back, I came in cough, sore throat and heavily congested, l wasn't seen by a doctor but by a PA. She was nice and professional but the diagnosis was upper respiratory infection and told me that l just needed Sudafed and Flonase. Two weeks later it has progressively gotten worse, now I have pneumonia. The Er doctor said that if I had been given antibiotics that visit I wouldn't have progressed to this point. read more

I went to the "clinic" on 5/17/19 to have the severe pain in my foot looked at. I was advised that there was no access to X-rays or Labs! So why were they even open?!! I told the Doc I had a surgical wound on my abdomen, still, I was forced to lie back on the table to look at my FOOT!! I also advised her that I was taking antibiotics and pain medication, so they wouldn't think I was "shopping." I returned the next day, had the x-ray, forced again into all kinds of painful contortions. So while I'm waiting to be seen, the Doc peeks around the corner, looks me up and down, and speaks with the X-ray tech. The tech then comes out, and hands her a list of Podiatrists to see, and tells her the foot is not broken. She asked if she could see the Doc to see what else might be going on, but was rudely told, "you saw the Doctor yesterday." So now she has an order for a scan. Hopefully, they'll do the job, PP REFUSED to do. NEVER going back!! I was the patient, the site would not allow me to edit correctly. Basically, they saw a BROWN woman, and decided I was there for narcotics.Nothing could be further from the truth.I am in pain management!! read more

We were told by 2 different people she was not there and would be back tomorrow. After asking the question about billing the manager was all of a sudden there. Needless to say the woman thought if was funny that we were questioning the billing codes. I was so impressed by the service I received, both at the reception desk and by the medical staff that I just had to write this review. The reception area is clean, with a fireplace and TV and a very nice staff. The medical staff I saw were very friendly and did the X-rays right there and provided a diagnosis and a prescription. As my GP was not available, she recommended that I visit one of these clinics, as it was New Year's Eve and my upper respiratory problem was not improving. Excellent experience at this facility. I was greeted in a friendly manner as soon as I walked in the door, and was quickly guided through the paperwork. I waited only about 10 minutes until being taken back. X-rays confirmed I had broken my nose, and the PA on duty clearly explained what I could expect as it healed. All members of the staff were pleasant, courteous, and caring. The clinic was clean and inviting, and there was plenty of parking. This is the place I'll return to if I ever need urgent care again! read more
