The vehicle had minimal damage and I had a cash offer from another company to tow it out and sell it for parts. Jay Balor Towing informed me they were charging me by the day, during the 30 days Chesterfield Police had a hold on it. Over $1600. They then told me I owed that full amount ..or... I could turn over the title to my car to them. I don't have that kind of money. That car was my family's only vehicle. I turned over the title and asked if I could have our belongings and the license plate. The car was already in the process of being taken apart. Our belongings were gone. Now I receive a notice of abandoned vehicle at Jay Balor Towing from the court. They told me I could have tried to get my car back through this abandoned vehicle notice. Too late. Court told me to contact Jay Balor to .. remind them .. The woman screamed at me, told me they sell cars to another company to part out, and hung up on me. I'll take the L, I didn't have a choice. I think Jay Balor being contracted by the Chesterfield police allows them to scam people. Just a word of warning. Zero stars.
