In addition to being an amazing photographer, Philip has some really cool hobbies - ask him about them if you're lucky enough to hire him as your wedding photographer!

He's the best photographer in Charleston and probably even the country... or world. I'm not even being sarcastic when I say that - he's THAT good! I loved every second of our time together - from the Facetime chats we would have before the wedding to arranging my beautiful wedding album. First of all, I'm sure you have seen how incredibly talented he is. His work is truly the best of the best and he will give the most gorgeous photos. My wedding photos are so beautiful that they've actually brought me to tears. I love and cherish them so much. Then there is Philip as a person. He's just so amazing in every way. He's fun, professional, hilarious, and extremely kind. Even though the wedding is over, I still love talking to Philip whenever I get the chance. How many people consider their wedding photographer a friend after the fact? It's pretty awesome! One story I'll never forget - On the actual wedding day, my hair and makeup took too long and I was over an hour late getting to my First Look. My anxiety level was at all time high. Then, my dad who was supposed to drive me to the location decided to "go for a drive" and was no where to be found (seriously Dad?!). I thought I was going to break down in tears, but Philip had my back! He cleared out his car and I jumped in and he drove me to the First Look. On the way there, he helped me see the humor in the situation and my anxiety melted away. I went from feeling completely crushed to laughing in just minutes. He just has that effect on people. And trust me - when it's your wedding day, those are the types of people that make all the difference. It's so true that your wedding photographer is the most important decision you will make about your wedding. Don't hesitate - book Philip now! I'm 100% positive that you will have zero (and I mean ZERO) regrets. I wish I could do it all over again.

The reason I'm giving two stars is because the beginning of our experience with leeann was good. We…read moreliked her work and she accommodated my fiancé and I well. Her true colors came out when we requested to cancel the date we booked with her due to an emergency. Due to my health, we wouldn't be able to make our date and we informed leeann that we would have to cancel. She informed us that we wouldn't be getting our deposit back but she would be able to reschedule. Normally, I understand about rescheduling but we are in Chicago and the time frame for us to actually go to Charleston was uncertain. In her contract, she states that she will reschedule, "due to severe weather." Beyond this, her "contract" says there is no refund policy but leads to believe its only for weather. The contract is very vague and misleading. If you schedule with her, be sure to ask questions about what "no refunds" truly cover if other situations should occur.
