(in a good way even though that kind of sounds scary). I sent them a draft of what I wanted and they came back with something that I felt was too good to be true. They help with designing your site not just doing what you tell them! Other places charge extra for that and they added own additional expenses. I kept expecting to hear from John about necessary increases to the budget but that never came. He stuck to the budget and even did more work at no additional cost. I commented on almost every detail and he never once complained - just responded with "done" "done" "done" next to each number on my list. I offered to pay more but those emails went ignored. He had a job to do and he did it like a pro. I had previously highered a friend to work on the site and after spending lots of time and money had to come to terms that I needed someone else. I went looking into craigslist because thats what I could afford after the mess I was left with. I was hesistant at first. John's site wasn't too impressive but I read a review that said John had "saved the day." I needed that and it resonated with me. I needed help badly. I took chance and my ONLY regret is not having found John sooner. It might take a little back and forth with emails as anything worthwhile does but its SO SO worth it. So I suggest you start your project early with John. His team is all you need. I am excited about the product and can't stop talking highly about the quality of their work. This guys is the man.

SWB Consulting doesn't even deserve a single star, NOT A ONE. OMG, this was a nightmare on just about every level you can possibly imagine for a business to business scenario. Let's say this was on the grandest over budget B-movie Horror scale of things, with plenty of gore, bad special effects, cost over runs, bad actors, and bad timing. On the comedic side of things, this could have been a laugh riot of "The Office" level proportions. Laugh, cry, or scream...it cannot begin to describe the utter horror or horrors. We hired SWB in good faith to help us author and code our new websites. Our initial meeting was pleasant and they smiled, promised us the moon and understood "exactly" what we wanted. They did have good examples of work they previously completed for other clients, so that inspired confidence as well as the owner of SWB who was professional and receptive. After we sent in our deposit...the true terror began. The hockey mask went on, the "chee chee cheee cheee" sound track turned on and SWB Consulting proved themselves to be the absolute worst company to work with in almost every way. I will say their only positive asset was their project manager(new) who replaced their original, who was initially tasked with our projects. He tried to salvage the complete mess left from their previous project manager and the series of developers who proved their incompetence time and time again...for over 18 months! YES, 18 months! Ultimately, even he could not bring back to life anything that was already done. Our websites were errors built ontop of errors with sloppy sutures and dirty, infected band aids culminating in the most monstrous Franken-mess imaginable. We would have axed the relationship mid way thru, but we were already deeply invested and paid out a significant amount of money for the "work" done. After a new do or die meeting with SWB's CEO, promises were made with pleading sincere eyes, stories were shared of their original project manager being fired and then peeing in their office coffee pot were revealed, admittances of missing files and emails, and fingers pointing at mysterious partner developers who were to blame, all came to light. We gave them a 2nd chance in the hopes our preliminary graphical layout work and money were not all in vain, but in the end it was all for naught. There were virtually nothing but rotting pages and admin 'functions". Nothing worked. Everything presented to us by SWB required us to discover the bugs, which were of epic proportions, like buckets and buckets of stale congealed blood. Nothing could reanimate this monster. It was a total loss and at GREAT expense. SWB made no offer of credit, partial refund, compensation of an incomplete project which went grossly over budget, wholly defective, and behind schedule. When we tried to call and email Sebastian the CEO, none were returned. SWB Consulting(should actually be changed to "Insulting") could and should be brought up on fraud. Their business practices were and are criminal. I will take the blame for being suckered into their nefarious scheming. My bad, and a very expensive one at that. Well, if there is really karmic pay back in this universe, SWB will surely burn in Hell. In Hell, may they bunk next to Pinhead and fight over maggoty scraps with mobs of stinking zombies. Shame on you SWB, shame on you Sebastian... If ANYONE has heard of, or was considering using these people, you have been warned. DO NOT engage with any business dealings with SWB Consulting. I had the same experience as Patrick - our project was a complete disaster I received no product for my work and Sebastian (the CEO) and SWB Consulting refused to return me my sizable deposit. We had many meetings where they promised us the world. They came and visited our event on-site to see how we run it, and they came and sat in my office for 5 hours telling us they could do everything we asked of them. In the end, they could do NONE of what they promised. They promised many "out of the box" features that they would tweak slightly. Well, as it turns out, they barely have these features and they don't even have the technical know-how to change their basic options much less any that are much more complicated. We had an expensive project, and the complete change orders that they initially submitted were on a 10-page Word document with 4 pages devoted to how my employees were gonna log-in. It became so clear to me that SWB had no clue how to deliver the product they had promised to me. I called up the next day to cancel the agreement and to get my money back. That was December 2009. It is now July 2010 and SWB still refuses to give back any of our deposit. Sebastian refuses to take my calls or even answer any emails, and every time I call his other colleagues Nima and Colleen will have "just stepped out". He sent an email in March 2010 saying he would give back ~20% of my deposit which, exasperated beyond belief, I agreed to. And now he won't even send THAT!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. This has been the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with.
