I have been a very happy Prissy Paws client for at least a decade now. I have had challenges in the past with other groomers requiring me to drop my 4 dogs off and pick them up hours later - returning my dogs back with bloody nails from being clipped to short. I also never liked the idea of leaving my dogs in strange places among strange dogs that are unrestrained/loose and with unknown temperaments where anything can happen and not being able to pick them up for 3-4hrs from drop-off time. I was so glad to discover Prissy Paws right here in Columbia. Prissy Paws is a state-of-the-art mobile grooming service that comes right to my door. My dogs are preened in a comfortable, safe, one-on-one environment, with no other dogs or distractions around while being groomed. They get their nails sanded down instead of clipped - not one bloody paw since being in Jen's care. (Other groomers charged me for sanding but still managed to clip my dogs nails first, which led to bloody feet on my dogs, despite my communicating that I absolutely did not want their nails clipped, ever--only sanded.) My dogs' grooming treatment includes their ears, teeth, paws (between toes and pads), nails, glands and coat -- the works-- to have their health and cleanliness maintained. My dogs smell so good and feel so soft after their grooming. Even my vet remarks at how clean my dogs' teeth are and how clean their ears look -- which is a feat considering all the tumbling and rolling they do outdoors. With other groomers, my dogs smell clean for a day and a half after the appointment. With Prissy Paws, they are so thoroughly cleaned and preened that they smell good for weeks afterward, despite being active and bounding in not-so-clean places outdoors. I don't have the inconvenience of driving 4 dogs across town or worry about leaving them in an unsafe/unfamiliar environment with unfamiliar dogs. I always feel like I got my money's worth because I have tried several groomers before and I know what the typical quality of grooming services levels off at. Jen is always super accommodating with scheduling appointments and has even alerted me to health conditions/changes she notices in my dogs and I subsequently had my vet examine/treat the condition(s). We are so fortunate to have this extremely convenient service. Prissy Paws gives us peace of mind and satisfaction that we are taking good care of our beloved dogs. Prissy Paws is a fabulous mobile pet grooming service catering to those within a 20-mile radius of Lake Murray area. My first experience with Prissy Paws was as her first customer. I was handed a disowned labradoodle named Molly that had been to the shelter and back multiple times and I intercepted a return trip by her 3rd owner by taking her off the hands of her owner who just didn't have time for a dog, full-time job, and new baby. I knew I could foster a loveable pooch. Molly was a mess, fur all matted and so long she couldn't walk without tripping. She couldn't see thru her matted fur eyebrows. I had my husband bring Molly to Jen with the hopes of getting her ready for a permanent adoption-home. Jen worked with Molly for about an hour. When I got her back, she was absolutely darling! She smelled fresh and clean (wonderful fragrance lasted days!), she could see, she could walk and run without tripping on long matted and tangled fur -- she was clipped so adorably - her eyes were visible and a lovely, sparkly brown --and she was SOOOO HAAAAAPPY!!!! The grooming care really helped her feel good!!! I soon started bringing my 4 dogs regularly and Molly was adopted by a kind widowed woman who was devoted to Molly as her 'child'. They enjoy beach trips and travels together -- Molly is very loved in her forever home! Prissy Paws/Jen provides magic pet grooming services! Jen was undaunted at the challenge I gave her with Molly and really turned Cinderella into a Princess! Jenn provides a full range of MOBILE PET GROOMING services -- coming right to your door -- bathing, conditioning, brushing, ears, teeth, clipping, styling, (filing nails is a little extra -- and I prefer that), glands and the little babies are topped off with a fancy bandana neckerchief. I love that the kids smell so clean for nearly a week later and their fur is white and soft! My vet compliments at how well my dogs' teeth are maintained and their overall health. My dogs really look foward to the care and grooming Jen provides. I take them regularly, once or twice a month. Jen stays busy and her clientelle list is growing, so it is wise to make the next appointment while attending the current visit. read more
