I had one of the worst dental experiences of my life here -- both for myself and my daughter. 1. Insurance & treatment dishonesty: They told me my insurance approved a deep cleaning, but my insurance denied it. They also pushed "small" fillings that would have required large drilling -- which I later learned I didn't even need. I came in asking for a general cleaning only, but the dentist didn't explain anything about what they were doing. When I asked questions, she became defensive and angry. 2. Fraudulent billing & painful procedure: Less than one minute into the deep cleaning, I felt a sharp pain that I still feel to this day and walked out almost immediately. A real deep cleaning cannot be completed in one minute -- yet they still billed for it, trying to make it appear as if it had been done. They later "uncharged" my insurance only after being caught in their lies and confronted with the facts. 3. Record withholding, HIPAA violation & misinformation: I initially requested my dental records and was told they would charge me $25. Because of that, I asked another dentist office to obtain the records on my behalf, but they were refused. I then showed up in person to ask why they wouldn't send my records. To my surprise, they "waived the fee" in an apparent attempt to seem accommodating but only sent me my X-rays. This incomplete information prevented me from obtaining a proper second opinion. Months later, needing complete records for both myself and my daughter to secure proper care and legal protection, I served them with a formal HIPAA request. They refused to sign or accept the request, falsely claiming they "needed a manager," and acted unprofessionally throughout. Their refusal to provide all legally required information has severely hindered our ability to get the help we desperately need. 4. Child patient mistreatment: My daughter is on the autism spectrum and they did not have the patience or respect to treat her properly. One dentist raised her voice, tried to force my daughter's mouth open, and showed zero understanding of her needs. I stepped in, spoke to my daughter calmly, and she cooperated immediately -- something they should have done in the first place. Yet they still billed for the visit. 5. Pattern of questionable practices: While I was there, I overheard another patient on the phone saying they did not want a deep cleaning. It made me wonder how many people they've tried this with. They may target patients who don't know better, but they picked the wrong one this time. This office is unprofessional, dishonest with insurance, in violation of patient rights, dismissive of concerns, and disrespectful toward children with special needs. I would never recommend them to anyone, especially parents. If anyone had any issues with this company and I'm sure there is please speak up and I will help you take legal action and report them, free of charge. I will do all the work, I know all the organizations and will make all the documents legally binding with any proof and statements you would like to share. read more

If I could give this a zero I would! DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to have a DECAYED tooth. I came last year bc I needed a cavity filled in. They did so bad that my tooth decayed!!! I had went to another dentist that was closer to me because my tooth was hurting again on the same one I got filled. The Dr showed me my xray and told me they didn't do a good job at all. my tooth was decayed and they had to pull it out. I'm barely 20 and bc of them I lost a tooth...!! read more

I was not happy with my experience here. The dentist did my cleaning since there is no hygienist in the office. The cleaning itself was really uncomfortable and rushed. At the end the assistant did not polish the lower left quadrant. Over all I was in the chair for 23 minutes for a cleaning and checkup and I paid the full amount out of pocket so I was expecting a thorough cleaning. read more

Long story short, at Pristine Dental in West Chicago, Dr. Nadia was wonderful. She has a very kind and sympathetic demeanor, which made me feel comfortable to be in her chair. She was very thorough overall, in her treatment, as well as in answering all my questions and laying out all my options for my issue. My appointment was on time, unlike the last place I went to where I waited around 2 hours to be seen (to be taken back, as well as from the time they took my xrays to the time i saw the dentist). I lived with a cracked molar for over a year. It caused me a lot of pain whenever I would bite on something hard, so that all my food was being chewed on the right side of my mouth to avoid the agony. I went to three other dentists for quotes on fixing that problem, and they ranged from $1,000-$1,750, which I didn't have. Pristine was able to get it done under my Blue Cross, Blue Shield Medicaid insurance, and it cost me nothing out of pocket!! I was so happy! Pristine cleaned out the old filling, found and removed a new cavity under that (might have been causing the pain), and then filled it up with a stronger bonding agent. My tooth was fixed without having to get a crown, and it's been working fine ever since. If you're on Medicaid with tooth problems, you need to get in touch with this dentist for certain. read more

I actually enjoy going here because everyone is so nice and my dentist Dr.Shahla is amazing!! She is sweet, funny, outgoing and a great dentist. DO NOT GO!! The first time i had a tooth extracted and received an infection that lasted weeks. The second and last time i went, they lied and stated that my insurance would pay for my dental bonding and when i went to get it done, the doctor refused to do it because i did a consultation with another doctor. The doctor (male) was rude and borderline insulting. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS OFFICE AND TRUST ME, I RECOMMEND THAT YOU FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR UNLESS YOU WANT AN INFECTION. read more

Love Love Pristine Dental. Dr. Saila is great with my two year old son! never does he cry or feel uncomfortable it amazes me how calm he is with her. He lets her brush his teeth open his mouth without a problem. Not only is the dentist good so is the staff! the girls in front are very nice always greet you at the door and never let you leave with a friendly goodbye. So this place has some pros in that the dentist is nice and explains everything well. She is really the only decent thing there but she clearly doesn't know how to run her practice. Once you start going expect to get a bunch of calls until you make your next appointment. They will hound you with constant calls until you make an appointment and when you finally do. The issue I have with this place is that every time I make an appointment it's a good 30-60 minute wait. For example I had an appointment today at 2pm and I arrived at 1:50. I already know it's a lengthy wait (I even brought a book), so I asked the receptionist what the wait time was and she told me I was the only one and that she just had to call and make sure my insurance was valid. I stuck around till exactly 2:30 and got off the dentist chair and left without being seen. They have no respect for people's time or there own appointment system. I could understand if this was a one time thing but it seems like this place is always like this. Granted I have only been going there for 2-3 years. I'm going to find another dentist. read more
