Although this project was revisited twice due to an initial "mis-diagnosis" (with the previous Soil-away regime), Jack took ownership to rectify the basic floor foundation issue and ensure no more tiles would crack.! Jack's demolition team,under Brad, communicated clearly when they would arrive, describe their daily work, and respected our property. The work area was left so that we could resume a normal daily lifstyle. Jack was there onsite thruout the demolition cycle of the project as was the project manager, Tom. As Brad and team completed the demolition cycle, Jeff, who would be completing the base flooring, tiling and grouting was the consummate professional. He approached the project as if he were working in his on house.His attention to detail and skill to merge the new tile into the existing fabric of our existing flooring was impeccable. We made a few minor changes and provided a down payment to lock in a start date. The quote was very reasonable for this project. There was a lot of scraping as the home had not been painted in quite a few years. I handled repairs for any bad boards/trim so that was not part of our quote. They first power washed the home to clean it and remove loose paint. The guys worked hard and showed up on schedule. The weather this year has been miserable (hot, humid) but they worked long hours to complete the job on time - arrived early and stayed late. There were usually 2-3 people on site at any given time. The job was completed on time and as promised - we lost a few days due to bad weather but they were back on site as soon as everything dried out. We had some clean up to do after they left but that was not unexpected given the amount of scraping needed to prep the surface. I would certainly hire them again for future projects.

After putting off house maintenance and repairs, I thought I'd get an early start this year, and in…read morethe beginning days of April, I got to work. We were planning on refinancing to take advantage of rates that were still low, and I thought that if I worked hard enough, I'd have it all in the bag in a matter of a few weeks. The problem is I kept uncovering new issues. After a couple of weeks I felt a growing sense of being overwhelmed. So finally near the beginning of May, I called Team Handyman. Tom came out and assessed the situation. I could tell that he knew what he was doing. A couple of days later came a very detailed estimate broken down by task. I picked the most pressing issues to address, and after relaying this to Team Handyman, they gave us a start time of the beginning of the following week. The following Monday, at 8:00 am sharp, Scott pulled in with his truck, and I have to say I've never met anyone more friendly or enthusiastic. His first words to me after rolling out from behind the wheel were a boisterous "Good morning, sir!" - with a hearty fist bump. This was no perfunctory salutation, this was genuine. Of course it would be all for naught, if not for the quality of his work - which was exemplary. And he was quick too ... and very focused. Yet any time I cared to check to see how things were proceeding, he stopped and gave me a detailed overview of how he was attacking the problem areas. It's great when it's so obvious how much someone loves his work. His most impressive accomplishment - at least in my case - was the replacement of rotted sill along one of the garage walls. Splashing water over the years had really made a mess of things, and this was one of the most dismaying discoveries I had made after doing some digging. But Scott managed to clear out the rotted sill, jack up the garage just enough to replace it section by section and then replace the lower foot or so of the outer paneling using PVC board. It came out beautifully - wish I could post a picture. Within three days everything we had requested to be done - was. And it was under the quote. Scott came by on day 4 (Thursday) for a couple of hours just to make some last finishing touches. We soon after passed a VA appraisal with flying colors. Thanks, Team Handyman!

A mason took a look and told us the problem, not sealed and not left to set long enough. Cannot recommend them, the stair repair should not have failed in less than two years ! Was going to have them do our bulkhead door , I did it myself and if the front stair is any indication of their work, I am glad I did it myself.Bottom line hire a real professional for major repairs not Team Handyman.

He came and pressure washed the patio, filled in the missing dust. He had to come back because he had to seal it. He did come back to drop off a gallon of high gloss, which should've been 4 gallons for the size of my patio. He told my husband he'd be back after lunch. I sent pictures of my patio when it was new and wanted the same sheen. He never responded. He told us the day before that he underestimated the job and asked if we could pay him minus a hundred until he finished. He never came back or responded to me. Do not hire this company. I am trying to get in touch with the company.

They remodeled our kitchen, dining room and downstairs bathroom, adding hardwood floors, moving walls, adding windows etc..
