I had a deeply disappointing experience with Genavieve. I commissioned a custom dress for a very important wedding and was very clear about my expectations, timeline, and the level of quality I was paying for. I met with Genavieve in person to ensure that measurements were taken correctly and that there would be no misunderstandings in my expectations. Unfortunately, after multiple delays which she claimed was related to shipping delays from her manufacturer what I received at the fitting was far from what was promised -- the dress looked cheap-(dollar store rhinestones glued on a fluffy mess of uneven tulle), rushed, and bore little resemblance to what we had discussed. It was not wearable and so bad that she acknowledged it was not what I had ordered and I was assured it was a mistake and that it would be corrected in time. However, after multiple delays and broken promises, I was told -- just four days before the event -- that the dress could not be delivered at all. This left me completely without an outfit for the wedding. What's most frustrating is not just the poor quality, but the lack of accountability and professionalism. When I told her I would be traveling an hour with two little kids to come to her store and asked her if the dress was ready for the fitting she delayed multiple times then had the nerve to tell me yes when she knew it was not salvageable. She even told me it was beautiful but wouldn't send a picture when I requested multiple times. If I had been told earlier that the dress wouldn't be ready, I could have made other arrangements. Instead, I was strung along and left scrambling at the last minute. I would not recommend this service or doing business with any of her brands to anyone looking for reliability, quality, or basic professionalism. Proceed with caution. read more

This woman is a complete scam. I ordered a wedding dress, desperate in need for help. She did not send me the dress I ordered. refused to refund me, and said I could use store credit. I found another dress, she could not save the one from her site, so she had one made in Columbia in two days, which was supposed to be a $900 dress.. also came in and not the dress I ordered, and she refuses to refund me what so ever- and is getting reported to the BBB. read more

I ordered a bikini about a week ago and asked it to be shipped. Unfortunately I was a little bit afraid that it wouldn't make it on time to my house before my trip to Puerto Rico. After being in contact with the boutique and being a pain in the ass (I'm sorry girls!!) they told me they would deliver it to my house since it wasn't far from the boutique. I went to this location this week after seeing their advertisement in the Florida Villager. I thought the items that were posted in the ad were beautiful, so I checked them out online. I can honestly say I fell in love with just about everything. The boutique is very different. It's a very intimate, alluring environment. From the moment you walk in your eyes begin to wander through the boutique as you try to capture all the gorgeous feminine clothing and jewelry. The beauty of shopping in a place like this is the personalized attention that Genevieve provides. I was so surprised to see such a young woman as the boutique owner. She immediately began conversing with me to figure out what my preferences were, and began making suggestions. Genevieve also offered to order items that were online, but not physically in the boutique at the time I was there. I was able to try on numerous items based on her recommendations so that she would know what size I would be for ordering in the future. It's pretty obvious that Genevieve is very passionate about fashion, and her boutique! Another benefit is that you'll probably never have to worry about seeing someone else wearing the same thing.
