I contacted TSE from a recommendation of another trades person, and I can't say enough about the high level of service I received. Generator Technican Morgan Anderson came by at the appointed time, and he quickly serviced everything. He found a problem with acid leaking around the battery post. I said I had that repaired about a year ago with a new cable for lots of $$ from the original install company (not TSE), but Morgan said that would never fix the problem as it was the battery. He replaced the battery and trimmed the battery cable back three inches, attached a new post clamp and finished. I wish I had called them last year to avoid the expensive repair (base fee to send out a technician was $450 not including parts!) Morgan is so friendly and competent and is happy to explain what he is doing making suggestions to keep my Generac, which I love, working at peak level. I also got great service from the office manager who took my call to schedule the appointment. And when I made the appointment, the manager said that they charge a flat fee including many normal wear parts for a fraction of the company that installed my system. Of course, I had to pay for the new battery. I highly recommend TSE for Generac installation and maintenance.

A week after the utility company gave the final okay, there has been zero contact from Banner. Not a "how are things going?" nor a "thanks for working with us" or even an attempt to sell us on their maintenance plan. :) Today, the final payment request arrived, from a no reply email no less. Maybe I asked too many questions or it was the fact that I had an issue with the payment schedule not being made clear?

They installed our system in summer of 2024 and we have never regretted it. When the Skagit Valley has big storms or high winds, the power goes out, and they designed our backup battery system to manage all of our must haves for poe, like refrigerator, garage doors, some key lights, our wifi, septic system etc. In other words, when the power went, out we barely noticed. Brad and his team answered all of our questions before we committed, and were available for any after-installation questions or hit list items, of which there were only a few. I decided not to go with Bode's Electric because their estimate was on the higher side among the several estimates I received. In fact, their estimate along with a few others were significantly higher than a couple of bids from other companies in town (more than double). Note: Although they are listed as different companies, Bode's and West Mechanical appear to be the same company.
