    This guy was just awesome! Fast cheap and efficient. You figured out the problem instantly and fixed it while I waited.

    I a custom spec MacBook Air through Apple's customer service and requested it be delivered to the…read moreAvalon store so that I could take advantage of an appointment pickup that included 30 minutes of setup at the "genius bar". I left without the MacBook after an hour or so because there was no direct support from the staff. The genius bar was basically a couple of apple store employees trying to assist well over a dozen people; rotating between them. There was certainly no one on one support but for maybe 30 seconds at a time. Perhaps my expectations were too high, or I was led to believe there would be a short 'sit down' with someone to help me log in and familiarize myself with the product. The MacBook was almost $2k plus monthly subscriptions. I had a terrible experience. It really is disappointing because I still need a new laptop and was absolutely looking forward to this new MacBook. Shame on them for providing the exact opposite experience that many others enjoyed. They even stated that my 14 day return window started the day I placed the order and already had 13 days on the clock, so 1 day to evaluate. I would have left with the MacBook and tried to book an online session or returned to the store again with a 2nd appointment to get setup assistance but the team lead said he could extend that window but could not offer anything written, only a verbal 'I got you'. Seriously disappointing.

As well as attentive and makes sure you're finding what you're looking for. I've come in needing a variety of things like new keyboards, mouse, headphones, Mic, and had questions about components for a new PC build. As soon as you walk in they have computer cases on display. If you go deeper in, you'll see keyboards and get the feel of them. Obviously a perk of brick and mortar stores is being able to see and experience it first hand before purchasing. After some time I realized I have expensive taste. So after selecting my item I'm taken to the front to get checked out. It's a separate line from the regular checkout line. The cashier calls someone from the regular line (no big deal) except now what would've been a quick check out process became a long wait. After some time, the manager came over and checked us out. Thank goodness for this man. Service really depends on who you run into and this is speaking across the store not just the checkout situation
