We selected ProFleet to repair our fence at our rental house. We decided to go with them because they gave us a good bid (of the three we received) and came with a plan of attack that sounded legitimate. Since this is a rental house and we go through a property management company, we were not able to set foot on property while they were working. They tilted the fence back up in the one section that it was falling over, and other than that they did nothing. They left a big pile of trash for us to remove, and not to mention, THE GATE OF THE FENCE WONT EVEN SHUT NOW! I am so floored by the fact that we paid over $3000 to have two sections of a fence fixed, and because of the poor repair job, the fence now doesn't even shut. update: Pro Plumb never filed permits for my job, as the city, as well as the minor label department have no record, and there is no permit minor label on the unit itself. Their negligence almost cost my family our lives. I will be filing a complaint with the CCB and the Better Business Bureau as well as the Oregon State Minor Label BCD. second update: pro plumb installed plastic concentric venting on a unit that requires metal concentric venting. They also cut the venting improperly. This is what caused the carbon monoxide. I had to have a second company come and completely redo their install, venting, gas lines, and replace the damaged unit which they installed. They still have not refunded me and continue to make up lies about me. ** installed a damaged unit, put my family at risk of carbon monoxide, left me without hot water for over a week ** They installed a rinnai tankless water heater less than six months ago. I repeatedly smelled gas and carbon monoxide and had issues with the water heater not putting out heat properly, and now it has started shaking violently. They said to call northwest natural. Northwest natural red tagged the unit for carbon monoxide leakage. 5 days later, Pro plumb came out to look at the unit, I was advised by pro plumb and by rinnai to contact a rinnai certified plumber to inspect the device. Jennifer told me the warranty would be long and that I would not have hot water, and that if i purchase another unit that they would install it for free. By now I have not had hot water for 6 days. The rinnai certified installer said that the gas line pro plumb was 1/2" instead of the required 3/4", the exhaust on the unit did not have an exhaust port, it only had an elbow which was causing carbon monoxide to enter the house. He also noticed that it was damaged and didn't look like a new unit. By now I have not had hot water for 8 days. When I contacted Jennifer at pro plumb she said the other plumber was just badmouthing them, and is very upset and angry with me that I would insinuate that there is a problem with their install, and insisted there was no damage on the hot water heater. When I asked her how the unit would be damaged on the rear of the unit facing the wall, she said she did not want to argue with me. She eventually hung up on me. I don't know when I will get hot water again, or when Pro Plumb will come out to fix the install. read more

I Want to save anyone from the financial and emotional drain of dealing with contracting/plumbing company! Pro Fleet NW is not a reliable company and in their own words can not "guarantee their work" my husband and I have to pursue legal counsel after they have completely Ignored their responsibilities of fixing our flooring they installed incorrectly among other faults from our kitchen remodel. They even came out to look, said they would be sending someone to fix and then refused to return any of our calls and e-mails. I'd hate for someone else to use them because their bid is lowest. We are definitely learning the hard way. It's so upsetting. We have a 4 yr old and a 4 month old and our floors are an actual safety hazard that they will not fix. looking at their Yelp reviews this is not an uncommon tactic of theirs. Do better read more

Technician returned the following business day to investigate and was told by Management that we would need to pay an additional $150 which included a $15 dollar part (new drain strainer). We declined the service as we felt this amount was very excessive on top of the $250 we already paid for a service that was not completed. Suggestion: Would recommend that technicians are trained to do their due diligence to ensure the job is complete. For example... running disposal, filling both sinks filling and exploring any possible leaks. Unfortunately from a customer perspective we would not recommend your services to others. Business Response: While I understand your frustration, service companies often have customers that try to rationalize why a company charges what they do for work when sometimes the parts seem inexpensive. Well, we charge for our time which comes with experience, insurance on our work and a warranty. I would think you have some insight on the value of hiring a professional as we were called to fix the leak under your sink because you tried to re-pipe beneath your sink yourself. The faucet and angle stop installation was leaking and the drain work you had done seemed to be holding up just fine. We re-installed your faucet and both angle stops right away when you called and charged a fee for doing so. Yes, we did not test the drain work significantly enough to get it to leak while we were there and perhaps could have to avoid a second trip this morning. However, if we had we would have charged a price to replace the basket strainer connection as well. I wish you luck in replacing that again and if you re-consider your need for a licensed professional to help with any projects you have in the future, please give us or any other plumbing company a call. You'll find we all charge for our services. Customer comments based on above feedback... Overall paid $240 for incomplete work and am still stuck with a leak. Seems a poor choice by Management to somehow justify their admitted lack of due diligence and cereate a negative customer experience. Not a great experience. We had Pro Fleet NW come out to look at a house we were on contract to buy. Their inspections and estimates were late and incomplete. We heard back "Oh, we thought you didn't need a roof estimate." Not good when on a time clock to get a house inspected! read more

We had some water backing up in the dishwasher. I called pro fleet to have them come out and run some diagnostics. I called them because they did some work at my property in the past, and i was pleased with their work last time. When i called about the dishwasher, they said that the diagnostics would be free and before they do any work, they would let us know how much it would cost. We agreed, and Mark came out the same day. After running some test for about 30 minutes, Mark said that we owed $125, and he already fixed the problem. We paid but didn't feel right about this transaction, so we called the office. At the office they essentially said that it is what it is. Giving them two stars just for showing up the same day we called for service. It's too bad that they don't stand behind their words, but I guess I'll be looking for another plumbing and gas company for the projects I have coming up. read more

I can't say who's being dishonest but stories don't line up when the Estimator said he "Ok well I did just get back to town from hunting" and the company owner claims in her response to this review, "he was dealing with a sick child." I have the text message chain and this company stinks even more following her disengenous reply. ORIGINAL REVIEW: In the absence of communication, imagination kicks in. And I'm imaging I'm not very important to Pro Plumb NW's success. After discovering water pooling in our sewer line, I embarked on finding a plumber who could fix it. After all, I'm trying to sell my house. It was like winning the lottery to find Pro Plumb NW and Chris M, who described having been on site when the sewer scope was done, so he knew EXACTLY what needed to be done. He never wavered. Apparently, he knew it so well that he decided to not do an on-site estimate. Nevertheless, he provided one and in complete knowledge of the placement of our existing gas main and line. You can't miss it; it's right there two feet from the yellow flags marking the pooling location --- if you visited the site as one would expect. On September 18, I secured an emailed bid from Chris M. for work that was scheduled for October 6. Because I'm a professional and consider my own word as more important than my commodities and services, I was there and ready on the morning of Oct 6. On Oct 5, Chris M. contacted me and said they might need to do the job on Saturday. On Saturday the crew showed up, took a hard look at the job, took my phone number and said they would be in touch about swapping jobs in the morning for the afternoon. They did not say they wouldn't be back. They never came back. On Oct 10, I finally reached out to Chris M. for a third time trying to get some idea when this job would proceed and if it needed an adjustment to the estimate, or what have you. Nothing. I had to reach out to him multiple times because he was hunting and never heard again from the crew who took my phone number and said they'd be back in the afternoon. I traveled from Tacoma to be on site and wouldn't have otherwise been in Portland at all. This is how the text communication went down: Thursday, 7:41pm : ME: Hey Chris. Are we on for tomorrow? No reply. Friday, 8:05am: Chris: Sorry, i cant talk right now. Me: Are we on for today? Chris: Sorry driving no sir it's Tomm we worked till 10 last night Me: Ok good to know Saturday 8:30am: Two guys came at 8:30am and departed, me thinking they were coming back or they would call me on the phone number they asked for. Saturday 1:15pm: Me: Hey Chris, can we get an update? Saturday 3:30pm Me: Hey, when your guy left he said he would be back in touch and back this afternoon. Nothing. Lets talk about customer service shall we, first I called around 4pm looking for a plumber as my basement flooded. Jennifer was very helpful in setting up or finding a plumber, however after a conversation about restoration I was transferred to talk to a restoration company(Jennifer was going to call back, never did). Which happens I get that, however the restoration company confirmed a plumber would be there at 5:30 to 6 pm. They never showed up, nor answered her calls/messages and my own. Funny thing about plumbing you don't really need a plumber until something breaks, if your company can't respond or keep your client up to date you don't deserve any stars. I had the opportunity too use another plumber but due too your no response I simple passed on them believing they would be there at 5:30-6 pm. I have used Pro Fleet NW before to remodel and paint the front of my house and also to build fences. Every time they are efficient, pleasant and do a great job. This time I needed a new hot water and toilet. John, the plumber, showed up as scheduled, was prepared with a new more efficient water heater to install and a much better toilet. The work was done all in one day and left my house is perfect shape. I will not hesitate to call on ProFleet again when I need work done whether plumbing or construction. read more

it took a whole month they failed the inspection twice made baseless lien threats I hired ProFleet for a big job. They assured me it would take four days. I gave them 50% down. Nine days in, they told me I owed about 96% of the bill immediately ... despite the job being nowhere near complete. When I told them they'd receive full payment upon completion, they threatened to put a lien on my house. Another 22 days went by before they finally passed an inspection, after flunking the first two. The second failure gave them no choice but to return and excavate my yard a second time to redo the work. If you want to "leave it to the professionals," call someone else. read more

I was referred to this company by my previous employer, who sub-contracts a fair amount of residential plumbers for their projects. We had a leaky drain line in our crawlspace that went from slow drip to stream running across our basement floor in the span of a couple weeks. They got me a same day bid when I finally called, and had the repair work scheduled for a couple days later. The father/son team who bid the job and repaired the line did an awesome job, and were just plain fun to have around while they worked. Jennifer in the office was very responsive, and was there to answer questions every time I called. Perhaps best of all, I found the bid to be very reasonable and the final charge was exactly what they estimated.
