We came at the end of the day on the New Year's eve and I forgot my purse when I was leaving. I only realized when I was on my way home when they called my husband's cell from my cell phone. Although the store was already closed, they waited for us to come back and pickup the purse. So very grateful. Awesome-awesome people!

So the Big K headed in first while I went to Dollarama nearby to waste some time. How long could buying a hockey stick take? I finally had to enter National Sports to investigate the Big K's disappearance and within record time I was greeted by a very friendly salesperson who not only found The Big K for me, but three perfectly wonderful, very expensive hockey sticks that could significantly improve The Big K's game (and in sum total cost more than my dishwasher.) After much careful consideration, The Big K finally settled on "just one" (thank goodness) from this neatly organized and well-stocked store. I rushed the Big K with stick in hand to the check-out (in an effort to prevent him from buying anything else.) Even the cashier was super-charming and personable and made paying the large bill less painful. Final words: bring lots of cash. This store is conducive to shopping.

Though the skate wall had many people shopping the sales associate took the time to use a brannock device to measure my foot and then explain to me why he was recommending certain skates for me to try on. As with my last trip to a store to buy skates (see below) my first associate had to swap out, but here I continued to receive the same great service and help with trying on 5 different pairs of skates. Pro Hockey Life not only had great customer service, but a big selection of skates to try on. While my skates were being sharpened I looked for blade covers and another associate walked me over to the right section of the store to find what I was after. Later as I was checking out the same guy came up and cautioned me on my choice (RED Pro Terry Blade Soakers) he warned me to remove them from my skates as soon as possible because he had seen the red dye bleed and stain the holder on skates in the past. If you are closed 50% of the weekend then "come in same day" is a very poor recommendation to give a customer.

I actually picked up a pair of Nike air for female fit because it was raved to be light weight and comfortable and it took impact load well. Just all around comfy walking shoes because I'm a regular runner and apparently the heel absorbed impact. I would say the shoes is enough of an up sale but it is light. There is no way shoes can absorb load that well, it's the foam structure and the hallow construct allows it. But true beliebers say it's a shock absorber, so keep on beliebing peeps. The selection is alright it's like any other outlet store. But it also shows you probably dont need to go to premium outlet mall for the deals, there are places with less line up and better parking.
