Pro home improvement called me to do some work. I reviewed their website and reviews. So I felt they would be a reliable company...Well Was I totally WRONG after experiencing the terrible job they performed!!! They were to insulate my attic add baffles and outside vents leading to the baffles. They were also suppose to add insula0tion to a utility room along with blown in insulation in the walls. I was home when this nightmare was being performed and the worst part about it was I PAID them. I am still kicking my own @$$ for that mistake!!! They did the attic good which was the easiest and cheapest part of the project (although the worker did partially push on a recessed light fixture that started coming thru my bedroom ceiling...he never mentioned to me that he did that). It was the utility room that was to total nightmare ( and the most costly part of the project). They cut a 1' x 10' section out of my ceiling and tried to blow the insulation in a channels. Most of the insulation came back out all over the guy and he got totally pissed about it. So very little insulation made it in the ceiling. It was my job to repair the ceiling (totally my fault for agreeing to this) and they did a really crappy job of cleaning it all up. He never did try to get the correct amount of insulation in the ceiling. The blown in part for the walls had to be done outside. They removed the vinyl siding only in certain spots didn't do anything above or below the windows. When I asked them why, they said they don't do those parts. when they put the siding back on the walls they didn't put all of the nail back to hold the siding on and the siding was a total mess and would not clean it up. I have to stop here because the more I think about how I let this happen and even pay for it (I am a totally honest and GOD fearing person That's why I paid) I get myself all worked up and just want to cuss them out. Pro Home Improvement replaceed a whole new roof with gutters on 10-22-14 thru 10-23 14. From the first day my husband and i saw nothing but honesty and sincerity starting with Dwight the sales rep, who was prompt and explained how the schedule and times would operate. The difference between the shingles and under layers how the installers would start to finish and the different options that we had in getting a good roof with the right financing that would fit our budget. Tina who worked hard to get us low monthly payments. Keith the field manager was full of honesty and truth he kept his word from the beginning to the end. The installers was prompt very professional and honest especially about the rotted wood. They didn't come back with this outrageous price for the rotted wood, one roofing company did us like that in the pass ripping us off regarding the rotted wood. From that point right there we knew Pro Home Improvement was there to be fair and honest to their customers. Tim who is the owner who shows compassion and understanding for his customers. We found Pro Home Improvement on homeadvisor.com and we were very pleased with the job they did. They delivered on every promise, everyone we encountered was friendly, courteous and professional, and they did an excellent job on our roof. There are only two reasons that we are not giving them 5 stars: (1) The sales pitch took 2 1/2 hours, during which time the sales rep talked a lot about the company. I understand that a sales rep wants you to know that the company is solid, stands behind its work, and is community conscious, but 2 1/2 hours for a quote on a complete tear-off roofing job is a bit much. (2) Pro Home Improvement was quite a bit more expensive than other roofing outfits -- about $12,000.00 for roofing a 1,500 sq. ft. house and installing new gutters -- however, we knew that going in, and the big selling point for us was that they gave an unlimited 25-year fully transferable guarantee (READ: Anything goes wrong within that 25-year period and they fix it; no questions asked; no limit on cost of repairs covered). Overall, we got what we wanted and the only real sticking point was the length of the sales pitch. I would go to Pro Home Improvement again, and I would recommend them to others with the caveats about the sales pitch and price. read more

There are MANY things about Pro Home Improvement, Inc. I would like to hi-lite: 1. Every aspect of the roofing project, from the salesman coming out and measuring the site and showing the products offered, to the work crew actually doing the tear-off and installation, to the office personnel, were EXTREMELY professional and friendly. 2. The cost of the project was very competitive compared to other companies, with very good materials offered. 3. The staff and work crew went well "beyond the call of duty" in their services and ensuring the finished product met ALL of my expectations. 4. The job took two days (due to rain...), so the work crew took extra measures to ensure the home was protected from the rain when they left the job site on that first day. All of my property was kept dry. 5. When the work crew finished the job, they ensured they cleaned up the area prior to leaving the work site. There is absolutely NOTHING that did not meet and/or exceed my expectations from start to finish. I loved everything about Pro Home Improvement from start to finish. My sales person was Yvette Desmarais. She is the best. She is the only sales person that I did not mind giving my money too. After 2 minutes of conversing with her I was sold. Her crew did a spectacular job with the siding and gutters on my garage. The crew showed up at the appointed time every day. There was no horse play or 60 minute breaks. And one of my favorite parts,.....within an hour after completing the work, the clean up crew was there. And when they finished, it looked like no one had done any work on the premises. Yes, the price was a little higher then the other 3 companies, but they did a lot more then the others. We recently had our roof re-engineered and completely redone, a dozen recessed lights put in, new gutters, new siding and more done. For workmanship, addressing concerns throughout the process, and overall quality, Pro Home Improvement Inc knocked it out of the park. I honestly hate contractors generally, but as I told Gary at Pro Homes, at the end of the construction he was almost a part of the family. No job gets every single detail perfect, but every issue or concern that we brought up was addressed immediately and with an apology for the inconvenience. Gary understood that when dealing with an individuals home, that it's all personal to a home owner and got me to at least think SOME contractors aren't all bad. We had some storm damage years ago and had work done by another construction company. Needless to say this company is no longer in business and of course, we had an issue with the work done. Not being able to fall back on a warranty of workmanship, we had to find another company. Pro Home Improvement employees were sympathetic to our situation and immediately started finding a remedy. The work the contractor did, in less time then initially quoted, was accomplished in a professional manner, ahead of schedule and completely satisfied my husband. Oscar roof caved in August of 2014, I didn't find out until Febuary of 2015. Took a video of the damaged emailed it to maybe 150 roofing companies only one company contacted me. We used Pro for rim joist insulation in 2015. It became apparent in the last year one of our 2nd floor rooms wasn't getting any heat or air from the single duct in the room. The HVAC company came out, did a cursory examination, and blamed Pro stating they must have gotten foam into the duct. Pro sent out a very knowledgeable employee who, after determining there was no way foam could have gotten into the duct, proceeded to correct the problem which had actually been caused by the HVAC company! In my opinion, Pro hires excellent employees who understand customer service. I won't hesitate to use them again. read more

I can not say enough about the wonderful service and quality of work done on my house! It is 13 degrees out today but, the workmen sent to my home worked thru the bitter cold. They arrived before expected and never stopped working! They cleaned up everything even though there is 6 inches of snow in my property. The house looks great and even made a few repairs as they worked. They sided two complete side of my house in one day, and did an excellent job! Salesman was friendly enough but got VERY pushy when we said we wanted to get other quotes. He stayed at our home for 2.5 hours pitching his company. Would not take no for an answer! Price was outrageous! One thing that really annoyed me was when we told him we were going to get other estimates he said that we "used" him to educate ourselves and now we were going to go elsewhere. Poor to communicate after services contracted then lie about their efforts. Got some bologne excuses blaming sales people for their lack of follow up. End up being a no show on day 1, but on the phone telling me their crew is in the drive way. They essentially call me a liar when they can't find their own crew. I mean these guys are shady and unprofessional and additionally comical idiots; although not funny to me. I think the "Pro" needs to come out of their name. read more

We used this company almost two years ago to insulate our attic and bedroom walls. We recently had some water damage due to the cold weather and had to pull down the drywall in certain areas of the house which exposed the insulation. We found a few problems but Tim stood behind his warranty and was at my house to inspect it within 24 hours and corrected the problem the same day.
