This was the second time I had been to Pro Nails. The first time a lady did a good job. I made an appointment yesterday and then got there and and found out she was not there anymore. I had a pedicure that took less than than 10 minutes. I had barely sat in the chair when he was finished. The message on the chair also did not work. Then I sat with a lady to do a powder dip on my nails. Neither one spoke English. She proceeded to cut the inside of my nails and ruined them. She did not know what she was doing. Not a clue! I said for her to stop and told them I was leaving and would not finish and would pay for the pedicure. Then he charged me $80.00 for a pedicure that was really the worse I have ever had. If I could give this place less than 0 star I would. I had to go to Cashiers and get four tips because she ruined my nails. I recommend going to Cashiers if you need your nails done. Highlands definitely need a decent nails spa! read more

I'm a resident of Highlands and have had my nails done at Pro nails many times. Today I had "Hanna" she did an adequate job however at the end I was presented with a bill for $125.00 for a full set of acrylic nails and a pedicure??!!! That was NOT the price listed on the board. As not to make a scene in front of other customers I paid the bill and will be calling back to ask for an adjustment. I've seen several other people complained that they too have been gouged ... this does not set well with me. I will not return. Except to get my money back. read more

Gorgeous full set and gel mani for my daughter's birthday! They weren't cheap but well worth it as the tech was meticulous with her detail. The cuticles and edges are perfection and the finish is beautiful and doesn't have the excessively thick look we've had before from other salons. She measured the length throughout to make sure they were consistent. When one tip wasn't as good as the others, she completely redid that one. My girlfriends and I made an appointment for all of us to have pedicures. They were very nice and did a good job. Our concern was that they did basically NO cleaning of the foot bath or the tools they used. I did not realize this until the lady they had been working on next to me got up. He splashed a little water in the bath, then seated the next lady that walked in. At that point he was already doing my polish, too late to stop then. I was very disappointed that they did not clean or disinfect anything at all. I am from Tennessee and every place I have gone here have bath liners and the tools have been cleaned and put in bags. It may be state law, do not know about that, but from now on I will look to see what cleaning standards they use. They were very nice and did do a good job on pedicure, no complaints. My wife and I just got Pedicures and man they were great. We read previous reviews about not walking in so we called for an appointment and they told us an hour later. Walked right in and sat down. While there some people walked in and they said come back in a. Hour. As we were finishing those ladies were sitting there getting served. Our feet and calves are so smooth and feel so good. My wife's nails look great. This place is wonderful and I highly recommend. read more

This is a typical fast in and out nail place . Workers were pleasant. Foot and calf massage with oil was very well done. I think they only applied an undercoat and one other coat of polish. I chose Essie because I've had good luck with it's staying power. Be sure to check out Market Fresh across the street if you are new in town:) read more

Overall a major disappointment. The place looks nice - nothing fancy or spa like but clean and comfortable. I made an appointment with 2 others to all go at the same time and they confirmed that was fine. When we showed up they were no where near ready for any of us. We came back 15mins later then they took 2 of us but the 3rd person was still sitting and waiting 45mins later. By that time the others were nearly done so she just gave up. They weren't even that apologetic about it. The nail service quality seems to be ok, again nothing extra ordinary. Conclusion: if you have time to go somewhere else, do and certainly do not count on the appointment time being kept or anywhere near accurate. When they say they'll be "right with you" that could be 30mins or even more! read more

Charged me $35 for a fill in 3 weeks ago and today it was $60!!! A full set isnt $60! Replaced 2 thumb nails and said it was higher because of white tips... really?? Lost a lot of potential business from me as I we work for the biggest employer in Highlands. Poor judgement on her part. read more

An expensive disappointment. It was awful how rude the staff was to the customers (much less those poor walk-ins who were barked at that they were too busy and to "come later"). I paid $48 (w/o tip) for a rushed and semi-average pedicure/manicure. The pedicure took 13 minutes (the massage was so hurried it was pointless). My technician was in such a hurry she didn't notice the clumps of polish she was putting nails- and she acted irritated when I asked if she could just leave it all as the base coat. Side note- it wasn't all that crowded and everyone there, like myself, seemed to have made an appointment. This is the first time I've ever reviewed on Yelp. Just felt like this horrible experience needed to be shared. Next time I'll just spend the money and go to old Edwards. Perhaps the locals get better treatment? read more

Very happy with the service we received. I made a reservation for four women two hours in advance, and we were able to all have pedicures right away. The staff was very kind and professional. They were very sweet to the two little girls we brought with to have their first manicures. We all left very pleased with the service and the results. The salon was clean and bright. After 3 of us tried many differently salons in the Cashiers/ Highlands area we can tell you that this salon is awesome. It's very clean, professional, and they work very hard to please you. The entire staff is incredibly rude. My mom and my niece had an appointment, and I decided to tag along in case they could squeeze me in for a pedicure as well. They said no problem, and brought us in and showed us three chairs. We started to sit, and then they told us to stop and made us sit in three extra manicure chairs. A woman with an appointment book came over and conferred with my mom on who she was and when her appointment had been made, and then looked at me and said she might not be able to fit me in. I said, "no problem, I was just tagging along, I have a book to read and will get a pedicure another day," so no big deal. Well the next thing we know, two women walk in the door and say they also have an appointment at the same time. The employees immediately seated them in two of the chairs that they had started running water for my mom and niece in, and acted like they hadn't even been sitting there. My mom politely asked why they had not been seated, and the ladies just shook their heads and ignored her. At that point, she said we would just go elsewhere, and the employees were so rude and dismissive. We are driving to Franklin. So worth it not to give that place business, and we are there in Highlands half the year. read more
