I love this place. Everyone is so kind. Its in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Never any wait time. But this is a fun quaint nail salon with friendly workers. I just get my toes done with a simple color and my 8 year old daughters dip nails done and am very happy with that. I have never tried acrylic full set fingernails here. I like to support their business and spend quality time with my daughter as she enjoys getting her nails done. The place is cute. If you want some crazy designer celebrity nails make the commute to Atlanta instead. read more

Very clean, excellent customer service, and many colors to choose from. They have the cutest princess chair for little girls to get their pedicures. I'm from Florida and had done my gel manicure at another salon before traveling and it did not last but 2 days before it started chipping. The technician at Nail One perfectly matched my previous color and corrected my manicure. My little girl also had chipped polish on one nail and they kindly fixed it and were so sweet to her! I love coming to this nail salon. It's very clean the staff is wonderful and very accommodating. They have always done a great job on my pedicures and manicures. My pedi lasts a month and looks fantastic. They did a dip manicure which came out great and lasted a long time while I was on vacation. Dirty and disgusting. The nail techs are standing outside smoking and don't wash their hands before doing nails. Kids answer the phones and are there yelling when you get there. When I asked for a clean towel before starting my nail service, I was told the towel wasn't dirty although it clearly had been used multiple times. This is by far the most unprofessional nail salon I've ever been to! read more

I went there and the lady was so rude and rough at the beginning and she cut four of my fingers from how aggressive she was being and all she said was ohh sorry it was a little accident so when I went to show my mother she went in and asked for the money back because the service was extremely awful. Only giving this a one star because I have to. I have lived here for 18 years. I always went in to see michelle. I moved away for college and wasn't aware michelle was no longer at this salon. I still went in and decided to get a fill in. I left with a broken nail. And my cuticles are inflamed with chunky nail coating. When I tried to cash out I showed the man at the front where the nail was cracked. He acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I'm not the type of person to cause a scene so I just paid in cash and walked out. THE WORST Nail job I have ever received. Do not recommend. read more

I never had a bad experience at a nail salon till today (I almost cried) So i got there to do my pedi with a woman and she was so nice but then it was time to do my mani and i got a male tech and dang was he aggressive and rude. I don't think he knew how to use the little drill to file the nails because he kept touching my cuticle's and it was hurting so bad. Every time i would say ouch he would say relax your hand and I'm like how am I going to relax my hand if you keep hurting it all the time. So then it was time for the painting and i told him that i wanted exactly like the picture that i showed him, patterns and colors all the same. He started doing them and he was doing the total opposite, so i said to him nicely, can u please start doing it this way and he said well you should of told me since the beginning but he said it so rudely and just kept grunting the whole time and i told him that i did but he just started being so rude so i told him to take it off bc at the point i was getting frustrated so he said oh but it looks nice but it wasn't nothing like i asked for, so he took it off and started mumbling things. So once again he takes off the nail polish with the drill and digs it in my flesh and holy shish kebabs i was feeling so much stinging and pain. I told him to put another solid color because i was ready to get out of there, i was not having it. +He didn't even clean the rest of the last nail polish off correctly before putting the new one on and when he did put the new one he didn't clean the spots he painted on my finger. I'm giving two stars because of the women, they were really nice. read more

John here at Nail One is gentle, unlike the owner Michelle. She is fast and rough on your nails where John takes his time and doesn't hurt you. I would suggest having an appointment unless you want to wait. Not many salons in this area to choose from. read more

If it were possible to give no stars I would. Like another review said, I am usually a happy camper, but honestly this was the worst manicure I ever had in my life. Rude beyond words staff, cut my cuticles until bleeding, gel manicure chipped within 2 days. I could continue, so I will. Constant talking between staff loudly, about clients, never any English. While my sister and I were at our parents over Christmas break, we decided to give Nails One a shot. They were wonderful!! Both of us live in bigger cities and said they were better than some of the more expensive places where we love. Extremely friendly staff, gave us wonderful manicures/ pedicures, and you cannot beat their prices! We will be back when we visit Clayton again. Great place! read more

While normally I love Nails One, today has been a mess. First, we had been told an hour wait at 12:00 and repeatedly kept going back to be told to come back later and later until they told us 6:00. Then my nails were done sloppily. Not only were the two employees switching off between me inconsistent with their methods of acrylic applying, they didn't ask what length or shape my friends wanted their nails and just cut them to whatever length. My nails were then layered with glopping amounts of polish that made them appear blobby. Because of this, they were taking an extended amount of time to dry. This being said, I accidentally bumped one and the polish bunched together. When I asked for it to be repainted, they just layered yet another layer of gloppy paint and I had to ask them to take the polish off and repaint. I've come here numerous times before and have had great service but today felt like I was being rushed and hurried through. It was unprofessional and disappointing. I'm not sure if I will come back to Nails One after today. My money could be spent elsewhere and my nails won't come out looking like pink globs. read more

Dirty, dirty, dirty. This nail salon is so dirty! I was visiting from out of town and thought i would find a nail salon while on vacation. The nail technicians were good and the end result for a pedi/mani was good but the salon was flithy. As I sat there I saw two roaches. One worker saw it run across the floor and with his shoe.he stepped on it hoping noone would see. Then 5 minutes later i saw another roach and the nail technician was trying to discretly get rid of it before anyone else would see it. I just hope my hands or feet dont get some funky infection from unsterile nail devices used. Makes me wonder how sterile and clean everything could be with roaches running around. Gross! Nail tech was rude after I asked for a specific tech who happened to be out that day. She nicked my cuticles and did not change gloves after working on a client's pedicure. Just needed regular nail job: one color and manicure. It was a horrible job. A child could have done as well. Needless to say, I won't be returning to Nail One! I'm usually a happy camper but this is the most horrible experience I've ever had and I am determined that people be aware of what I went through and decide for themselves if they should visit this place. This business does not even deserve a rating. It was my first time there and I will NEVER return. It's a family business and I highly suspect the people there are not trained to do mani/pedis but simply roped in to help. The edges on my nails were rough with shreds of nail on them and sharp on some after the cutting and the filing. The painting was terrible also. Worse still, when trimming the skin around my nails, the lady working on me cut deep into my flesh on 3 fingers causing them to bleed badly. My fingers were swollen and stung for 2 days afterwards. When I told her it really hurt she nonchalantly brushed it off by saying it was because my skin was thin and that I was fine since she applied alcohol on it! I have never experienced anything like that before. The whole experience made me really worried about hygience and infection. I don't know why I stayed and or even paid but I did not want to make a scene but from now on I will make my expectations clear before I do my nails again. You have a right to ask your nail salon about their hygiene practices and let them know what you expect before they begin work on you. read more
