Good riddance! This company ripped my elderly parents off on the installation of a new…read moreair-conditioning and heating system, when I tried to follow up with them, I found that they were out of business - not resold, just out of business.

They showed up day 1 with no definite plans of where to cut into my ceiling for the vents, and the boss wasn't there. I guess they were just planning to wing it. I sent them away until they had a written layout of my house BEFORE they started cutting. One of their guys in my attic stepped through my ceiling. They sub-contracted another shady guy to patch it, who did a horrible patch job that plugged the hole but made no attempt to blend or match it. I didn't know enough of my recourse as a consumer back then to insist it be done right. They overbooked their guys so it was pulling teeth to get them to come back and finish the job. The unit didn't work when I tried to fire it up the next summer, so I called them out to fix it. It had to reloaded with Freon twice (after using it just the first summer), but they made no acknowledgement that could be a service/installation issue. It took a few visits to get it working. The next year I skipped these crooks when I learned about a PG&E rebate program that will service your unit once for free. That guy told me that Active Air nailed it something that should have been screwed in, reloaded Freon (again), and tuned up the unit. I won't say it's been great since then, but it hasn't need more Freon. My house does not cool evenly. The bedrooms at either end stay substantially warmer than the rooms in the middle of my house (and it's a single story w/ 1750 sq ft, not that huge). I feel like these guys broke my house. Stay away from this company.
