Our group of 8 guys did the self-guided Provo River kayak trip during a Park City weekend, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was very well organized, from check-in to the shuttle service, and the staff made sure we understood the route before heading out. The scenery was beautiful, and the river offered just the right amount of adventure without being overwhelming. About halfway through, my kayak flipped and I took a pretty good tumble. Aiden got to me quickly, helped me recover, and made sure I was safe before sending me back down the river. He was calm, professional, and clearly cared about everyone's safety. This is our third trip with Pro Rafting with a large to medium size group. Cherry and Donny haver an incredible spirit of hospitality. They have gone overboard with us to identify our objectives and the kind of experience we want to create for our guests. Then, they customize the trip to our needs. In our most recent trip Donny took us down the lower Provo River with 2 miles of Class 3+ rapids. He was incredibly thorough about preparing us. He has run over 2000 rivers and it shows. He is extremely competent and yet relaxed give his level of confidence. Which in turn, instilled confidence in all of us. The trip was thrilling, super fun, and created a world-class memory for everyone involved. We will continue to bring groups to the river and Pro Rafting will be our outfitter of choice. This was our first time using Pro Rafting Tours and we had a great time! Our guide, Sam, took out our large group (family reunion!) on the inflatable kayaks on the Provo Canyon River and made sure we had everything we needed, all the information required and that everyone felt confident and safe. On the river he communicated well with our group so that even when we got separated at times we all knew what was coming up ahead and how to proceed. It was my first time rafting and I was nervous in the beginning, but after Mckayla, our guide, explained very simply and effectively what was going to happen and what we were expected to do, it really helped me enjoy the experience! I went with just my husband and I with Mckayla and she really helped us enjoy every moment of the Provo River. We had an awesome time rafting the Provo river with our large family group, which included lots of kids as young as 7. Sam was an awesome guide, making for a fun and safe experience, and everyone felt comfortable even when our group of multiple kayaks and rafts inevitably became separated a bit as we floated because of his guidance before and throughout the trip. Rafting down the Provo River with our guide Lauren was an adventure our family will never forget. She was so positive and encouraging and her rafting instructions to us were very clear. Even when we a thunderstorm popped up, she took care of us. The equipment was clean and well taken care of and the woman Cherry who took my info over the phone was so sweet and super helpful. We loved our Provo river rafting experience with Pro Rafting Tours! We had 20 in our group ranging from age 4-66. They were so friendly and helped us learn to navigate the river with their expertise.
