No restitution was ever made and I received no funds. Money budgeted for this project was used up and so the mess on my house still remains. After many discussions back and forth about this, the business acted like I was to blame for the shoddy work. read more

The seemingly affable owner was completely unsupportive from the beginning. He instead has been telling the community that I am "crazy", which is untrue. I am a retired, highly professional interior designer. I regrettably did let him finish the job b/c 2 weeks left. I incorrectly thought he was going to be fair to me and his core men (not the sub thief) seemed honest. Two weeks later, I had to call the police, and that is when the trouble started. We soon found evidence of 2 hate crimes. One, was using a sharp object to etch in "Jew" with a swastika, faintly under the Powder Room painted window sill, and the other was a large swastika painted in red paint in the hard to see corner inside my unlocked barn. He wanted it to be discovered later. It was pretty horrific to find. I am only posting this now that my house has sold, and my family is far out of harm's way. I have many witnesses, all professionals, some friends, who saw this nasty work, but I will not post the visual because it is so incredibly disturbing. I was shaking with fear and revulsion, and we aren't even Jewish. ( our surname could be confused ) You'd be absolutely nuts to hire this guy. He seems great, until he is accidentally crossed.

After our consultation with Gabriel, we had project specs, sample ideas and a solid estimate within two days. Come start day, the crew proved to be professional, efficient and they were responsive and highly communicative at every step of the way. We now have a beautiful new paver patio and an esthetically pleasing retaining wall, just in time for the holiday weekend. And it only took them three days to complete the project, from start to finish. I would highly recommend Luryno Masonry. We contacted at least four other masonry companies and none were as consistently responsive or professional in terms of follow-up.

So we called back immediately and no one even answered, and no one returned the next message we left (again!!!). Not only that but in the one message they left us, we were told they had time to come by tomorrow and see the problem, and to call to arrange. Great! Not. Well not only did they not answer, nor return our call about setting something up for that next day, as they had offered, but we were simply left just hanging ... a week LATER and they still never even got back to us. SMH. Any reputable contractor would/could have taken 10 seconds to reach out EVEN if it were just to say, you know we apologize but it turns out we are jammed (or down an employee or whatever other reason) ... but for this firm be as inconsiderate and irresponsible as this is kinda shocking, not to mention plain bad business in our local area.
