We replaced our electric range with a gas range, so we needed a propane line installed. We already…read morehave a propane tank which is used for our gas fireplace. First, Lessig examined our current system and drew up a plan as to how a line could be run to the kitchen and required materials. Once we had a delivery date set for the range, we made an appointment for Lessig to arrive the next day to make the connection and convert the range for propane use. Two employees from Lessig arrived (on schedule) to install the propane line. Much of the work took place in our tight crawlspace (not a pleasant experience I'm sure). They had to precisely measure to drill a hole in the kitchen floor between two outlets and a joist. They also had to drill a hole at just the right spot in the crawl space wall in order to connect to the existing propane line outside. After connecting everything, they checked for leaks and also examined the fireplace to make sure everything was working properly. They then showed us how to operate the stove and oven with instructions to run it at 350 degrees for 30 minutes to burn off any residue from the manufacturing and shipping process. I didn't realize how much work it would take, but they got it done and the two men certainly knew what they were doing. We're very satisfied and now enjoying our new propane range.
