Beware - Greasy Tactics and Counterfeit Items at an "Authentic" Collectibles Show I attended a Card Show hosted by Pro Sports Zone, which markets itself as an authentic collectibles store. To my shock, counterfeit Labubu figures were being sold right on the store owner's table. When I informed the owner, he brushed it off, saying, "It's not my problem -- the jewelry guy is selling them." The reality? He was selling them for that vendor, on his own table, while the vendor failed to disclose they were fakes. When confronted about selling counterfeits at an event advertised for authentic items, he claimed it wasn't his responsibility to verify authenticity -- an incredibly greasy and unprofessional stance for a so-called collectibles expert. On a separate review page the owner tried to skirt responsibility by saying he was only a vendor, but didn't include that he was the proprietor of the vendor show and allowed the counterfeits to be put on his own table.​ This disregard for integrity is unacceptable. I have reported Pro Sports Zone to the FTC, the Attorney General, and Popmart's copyright infringement department. If you value authenticity, ethics, and respect for the collecting community, avoid Pro Sports Zone and any events it hosts. Supporting counterfeit sales -- and then dodging responsibility -- is the lowest form of business. read more

This guy has it all. If he doesn't have it, he will find it.,Lions and Wings selection is great. I have been to a couple signings he has had over the last few years. Everything has run as smooth as can be expected. (Hutch was only supposed to be there for 2 hours but stayed until everyone got what they wanted.) I just don't see what others are complaining about. As a HUGE Lions fan from out of state it's virtually impossible for me to shop for gear. I've had the pleasure of coming to Detroit and this gem of a store twice now and I'm I've been in awe each time. John, the store owner really needs his flowers. This man puts in the work for the entire Michigan sports fandom and could not be a greater pillar to his community. Whatever it is you seek there's a very high likelihood that Pro Sports Zone has it. Pro Sports Zone and sister store College Sports Zone, both in Laurel Park mall are my favorite sports apparel stores around. Their prices are better than the big guys like Rally House and they have a great selection. If I had the financial means and the closet space, I would probably own every single Michigan State item in the place. They have an extensive area in the concourse of the mall with various framed memorabilia and an excellent clearance section with great finds. I believe they do custom frame work too, so if you have an idea for your fan cave, they can probably do it. Any sports fan should be this a go-to spot. read more

I used to live in Livonia but now reside 4 hours north. That doesn't stop me from shopping at Pro Sports Zone at Laurel Park Place mall. John has a great selection of jerseys, helmets, and autographed sports memorabilia. I've purchased many items over the years and one of my favorites was a full sized Detroit Tigers helmet signed by Lance Parrish. The store offers multiple appearances by sports stars that sign autographs at the store. It's rumored that one or two sports celebrities live in the back room because they are always there signing items. Quality items can be found at Pro Sports Zone. read more

I find this place not suitable I ask about a Darren McCarty photo if they carry it was told no it was part a frame item and they don't where to get one. After seeing matt riddle and the godfather from wwe there and former avalanche players Adam Foote and Claude lemiuex ... I was told by someone to just , so I asked about maybe getting Julian Edelman to sign and was rudely told by john their no interest for him ... I also ask about other things and told he look and never heard from him if they had them or not ... I wouldn't dealing with this place anymore they aren't very professional ... I have been going to pro sports zone in Laurel Park mall for a few years now and John the owner has always given me top rate service. He has some of the best Detroit sports memorabilia around including lots of autographed items. And if he doesn't have what you are looking for he can most likely get a hold of it for you and he regularly has in store autograph signings. Came in during a signing on 2/14/2021 to get a couple of things authenticated by JSA. I asked the lady behind the counter where I should stand to get my items authenticated. She said "JSA is only authenticating the items signed by Antjuan Simmons today." I mentioned I called JSA on 2/11/2021 and they told me they would still authenticate items during the signing. She said no that is not going to happen. She did not verify with JSA or anyone else in the store if this was indeed the case. I still cannot believe the condescending way I was treated. Finally, if this is true your line of communication with JSA needs improvement. I will be contacting JSA tomorrow to discuss this matter but the way I was treated by this employee is not satisfactory. read more

This place is located in Laurel Park Mall in Livonia. Thye have all kinds of sports clothing including a lot of UofM, MSU, Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and also sell Made In Detroit Cothing. Im not a huge "jersey" type guy and I can always find something here I like. They also have all kinds posters, cups, figurines, etc. I can always find something new that you don't see out everywhere. They sell a lot of womens apperal too. Great place to go for some good gear for that great sports event. (also sell other teams but i'm a MI sports fan). Prices are decent and what you would expect for quality fashion sports gear. Much cheaper then the stadium price! read more

I drive all the way from Toronto when I need anything Detroit or Michigan sports related. This place has it ALL. Jerseys, outerwear, sweaters, t-shirts, and the most memorabilia I've ever seen in one store. I've been visiting the store for years and refuse to buy anything elsewhere. If you're looking for anything Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, MSU/UofM, chances are you'll find it here, and that you won't find it cheaper anywhere else! Love this place! read more

Terrible store! Would never recommend. Purchased gift for Christmas, had to return but they did not offer the correct size. Purchased a more expensive item. When I tried to return It because it did not fit either I was then told they have a 7 day return policy! 7 days! I was also told by the rude owner/manager I should have "read my receipt". No, if they are going to have such a ridiculous return policy they should have it posted in their stores and they should tell each customer as they make their purchase. What a scam! read more

Purchased items 8 days before Christmas & asked prior to purchasing the items if they could be returned and was told "yep". They failed to mention that they had to be returned within 7 days. Items were still under the tree at that point. Tried to return 1 item on Jan. 2nd. Owner of store very condescending & told me I had to take responsibility for not finding out the return policy. Guess I'm supposed to read the receipt that you get AFTER you buy the items. Clearly misleading sales tactics. Don't support such slime. read more

The store is located in Laurel Park Mall in Livonia. The owner has another store in the same mall with college merchandise. I purchased a shirt that fell apart after one wearing. It was overpriced to begin with. When I approached the owner about getting my money back or store credit or possibly exchanging it, he simply told me that his store policy did not allow that. The merchandise was obviously poor quality. Bottom line here is this store does not stand behind the merchandise they sell. BUYER BEWARE. read more
