I called around 12pm and was told they were at lunch and would call back. I didn't get a call back, so I called again around 1:30 and was told they were still out. I waited another two hours (around 3:30pm), called back and was told they'd call me back around 4pm. Finally at 4:30pm, Jared finally called back, only to be told that the pricing we had previously discussed went from $55/month to $65/month. I understood that there was a price difference and was okay with it. Jared had quoted me what was going to be due upfront, roughly $270. I said okay and proceeded to give my credit card information and was told I was good to go. Five minutes later, I get a text from Jared stating the price mentioned did not include the two guest passes, which I had stated from the beginning to include the price. Overall, it was unprofessional to have me waiting four hours for a call just to be told the wrong price after giving my card information.

Another thing about limited time is the LIMITED HOURS that this gym is open. It'd be better if it wasn't open so early but open till later on weekends.

They have plenty of dumbbells from 5 pounders to 120 pounds. Cardio machine of all kinds. Bathrooms and lockers are always very clean as well. The sauna here is awesome as well as the steam room. Roof top basketball court is always available. I've even attended a birthday party here for my nephew and we ran some basketball games and enjoyed the lounge area on the top floor. Can't say enough about this gym. Lots of mirrors to catch every angle of the work I put in. I would highly encourage everyone to sign up for a trial and see what you think of this location yourself. We lay on our mats on the floor and I'm worried about bugs getting in my hair. Left the gym feeling itchy. Floors could be cleaned more regularly in the classroom too. Lots of hair and debris. It's distracting and gross to be laying on the floor reaching arms and legs out past your yoga mat sometimes and then someone's hair sticks to you. Or there's a white dusty substance on your black pants. As far as staff goes, there's been a lot of turn over the past few months. I have no idea who the new manager is now as they don't make their presence known and newer staff is not as friendly. I hear there might be an upper management problem at the corporate level. Which is why so many staff here recently left all at once. Oftentimes these corporations don't treat their employees as human and only care about the bottom dollar. It's very disappointing as a member and shows poor business ethics. Some of my favorite classes have been cancelled recently due to lack of instructors, since 4 suddenly left all at once. And the few instructors that are left have to make up the slack and seem over worked. The few remaining instructors are fabulous and the regulars love them. Shout out to Glo and Eileen!So please don't push them out too. I don't use the rest of the gym equipment much but from what it seems that part of the gym is good. Sometimes crowded and there can be wait times for popular equipment at rush hour. I'm only mentioning these things as feedback to whom it may concern in hopes they will actually do something about these issues. So that my and my fellow gym members experience gets back to the quality we were used to a few months ago. A lot of members are looking elsewhere, where there is better customer service, classes and cleanliness. There are so many options of gyms to choose from so why would we stay with 2.8 star place. Since I work in West Sacramento, what's super neat is that they have a Corporate Rate that matches the Resident Rate for passes (Individual Only), which comes out to $7 for adults, $5.50 for seniors/students daily, or $39.50 monthly for adults, $26 monthly for seniors/students rate. Regular admission (non-resident) is $14 daily or $73 monthly for individuals. They also have Couple and Family rates. For evening hours after work, in the Group Exercise room, generally, there is a Cardio Lift, Yoga, or Zumba class offered each hour or so between 4 PM and 7 PM. There is also Kinesis, Aqua Fit, and Spin in other areas of the Center. They also have a basketball court (youth, teen, and adult sports), typical gym machines space, small group personal training, a pool, and a rock climbing wall. Parking was full because it's summertime and the hot weather brings everyone to the pool. Overflow parking goes into the high school lot, with some shade trees. Might get a pass as a complement to my Orangetheory membership.

Meanwhile, these amenities are available to other members. This creates a clear sense of inconsistent and unfair treatment toward a specific group of paying members. What is particularly frustrating is that these rules and differences in treatment were not clearly explained at the time of joining or during the sign-up process. Members are not made aware in advance that swimmers may be treated differently or have more restricted access compared to other members. There have also been repeated instances where a female parent has entered the boys' locker room many many times, which raises additional concerns about how locker room access rules are being enforced and managed. I have raised these issues with management, but they have not been addressed in a transparent or satisfactory way. If you are considering joining with children in the swim team, I would strongly recommend asking very specific questions about facility access and how policies are applied before committing.
