Parking is pretty easy and free at 3 nearby parking garages w/90 minutes validation, which would be much better at 120 minutes b/c 90 minutes really isn't enough when we have to change into workout clothes, and then wash up after getting all sweaty from exercising and have to walk to the gym and back from the parking garage, all those minutes add up. Another thing about limited time is the LIMITED HOURS that this gym is open. It'd be better if it wasn't open so early but open till later on weekends.

They have plenty of dumbbells from 5 pounders to 120 pounds. Cardio machine of all kinds. Bathrooms and lockers are always very clean as well. The sauna here is awesome as well as the steam room. Roof top basketball court is always available. I've even attended a birthday party here for my nephew and we ran some basketball games and enjoyed the lounge area on the top floor. Can't say enough about this gym. Lots of mirrors to catch every angle of the work I put in. I would highly encourage everyone to sign up for a trial and see what you think of this location yourself. It's worth every penny.

Parking is incredibly easy, as there's a big parking lot. You do want to arrive early for yoga to get a good spot. They have limited thick mats that you can place underneath your mat. This is due to the floor being pretty sturdy. Outside of the yoga studio, there's wipes available. I love Sunday yoga with Kayla. She'll put on the best music and really talk about what we are strengthening with each pose. She gives variations if you want a deeper stretch. The restrooms here are also incredibly nice. I don't really use the rest of the gym. It does look incredibly spacious and nice. For now, I'll stick to yoga but maybe one day I'll actually explore the rest of the gym.

Tends to be less busy, which is nice, and the prices are very reasonable. Front desk staff are always friendly.

Unfortunately, I had to give up my my membership after 6 years due to many factors! Rio del Oro only caters to kids which I completely understand! The only issue is the kids run the place and some of their parents support their bad behavior! I have observed over the years teenagers throwing heavy weights in the pool, a chair thrown in one of the pools, kids crossing lanes to interrupt adults doing lap swims, a young kids yelling as I went for another lap tell his mother mom that I said she was a bitch... I told her it didn't happen.. some dude told her that I didn't like didn't like kids A friend who was a member approached her to let her know she was absolutely beautiful and I never said this... I was accused of hating kids and that I couldn't speak English... etc... Along with saying do you know who I am... Unbelievable! Another member who was 20 minutes late, I let him know he lost his lane.. he got his in my face.. I kept on swimming at which time he tried to crash into me with his body to hurt me! No deck personnel to facilitate the rules! I have written so many incident reports... what's written on the schedule can change out on the deck. The masters swim took over the big pool when they are supposed to be in the 6 lane pool! I have felt like I was in the twilight zone me at this Club! The staff are wonderful.. Like I was told many times by the staff, I only work here.. they said we are the last to know... The staff makes Rio Del Oro awesome.. it's management failing to have deck personnel to rein in the kids and their parents! I have moved on to another gym which takes care of unruly kids and their parents! By the way, I have never ever written a bad review in my lifetime... People who come here often know to bring their own umbrella (something that's officially allowed) and come earlier to get the spots they want. But even though we suffered a little, it was worth it. I'm very disappointed with how this club treats its swim team members…read more Although we pay both membership fees and swim team fees, swimmers are not allowed to use club towels, spa facilities, or the adult locker room, even when children are accompanied by adults and under supervision. Meanwhile, these amenities are available to other members. This creates a clear sense of inconsistent and unfair treatment toward a specific group of paying members. What is particularly frustrating is that these rules and differences in treatment were not clearly explained at the time of joining or during the sign-up process. Members are not made aware in advance that swimmers may be treated differently or have more restricted access compared to other members. There have also been repeated instances where a female parent has entered the boys' locker room many many times, which raises additional concerns about how locker room access rules are being enforced and managed. I have raised these issues with management, but they have not been addressed in a transparent or satisfactory way. If you are considering joining with children in the swim team, I would strongly recommend asking very specific questions about facility access and how policies are applied before committing.

She's professional and her communication is clear. Park Terrace has made some updates by painting the room, painting the bar, and fixing some of the ceiling tiles and it made all the difference. We provided our floor plan and when we arrived, the facility, including the bathrooms, were clean and the tables were placed as requested. There were plenty of garbage cans provided. The power strip in place by the bar was dead but plugged our devices directly into the wall outlet and everything worked. As guests arrived, 3 guests immediately asked what we paid to rent the facility as they were interested in renting. It was impressive.
