Terrible towing company. They cracked my front lip because they didn't know what they were doing. Talked to them about and and never heard back from them. Rude...so so rude.. I was left locked out of my car for 5 hours.. and was told I would be hung up on if I didn't stop talking while I was trying to explain what was happening. Felt rather hostile. Predatory tow company. Didn't realize my car was on a 'private' road and they charged me $370 for 'private impound' I'm sure much higher than their standard rates due to having a business contract with the apartment complex. On top of that, they were rude and unwilling to work with me on the costs. They charged me a total of $75/day for 'storage' due to 'administrative fees'. All in all, ended up having to pay nearly $800 for them to so kindly 'store' my vehicle for 5 days and threaten to scrap my vehicle if I did not retrieve it within 11 days. Do not give this predatory business your money. There are much kinder towing companies that are actually there to help the community. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Horrible customer service I have been abruptly hung up on, and been told the price that I was told I had to pay the day before wasn't told to me just to be proven wrong after calling the person i talked to before. I was traveling to Cedar Rapids for business and hit a raccoon. It seemed like it was just external damage, but later that week my engine began to overheat. My insurance set me up with Pro Tow, within a matter of minutes they called me to confirm the pickup. They even picked me up at my hotel to bring me to my car. Tyler was extremely professional and courteous. He even offered to carry my suitcase into the dealership I was getting it repaired at. Pandemic, people not working. This company is risking my health for a few bucks. Long story short, I live in Kirkwood Estates and they have a contract for I guess overnight parking. I have heard for 3 years now that there is no over street parking. In the winter they will tow you IF its snowing for snow removal. I have never left my cars out and we see cars out on the street overnight all the time. My fiance is a semi driver and leaves early, he says EVERY morning there are cars in the street. I have severe asthma and took medical leave because of the pandemic. I see a pulmonologist and she told me if I get this I will not survive. So my fiance and son both are extremely careful not to bring it home and both of their jobs keep them in a confined space by them selves. My fiance went to the ER around 11PM and my son put his car on the curb until my fiance came back so the cars are in an order to save someone 2 hours of sleep. I told the tow guy this and he did not care. He was not hooked yet so he got under my sons car and hooked it up so he could make money. See I am supposed to be an ignorant female that is to stupid to realize he was not hooked yet. I told him than charge me for the hook, tow and storage fee if u must just dont take my sons car because I will have to get it in the morning and I am not willing to risk getting since with my asthma. I also told him I have been quarantined for 2 months because if I get this I am dead. Well basically he fined me 128.40 during this time of a pandemic and I am not working. And got me out of my house and near people I dont know. I called to complain and the lady showed no moral sympathy for the state if emergency and no compassion no charging the public during this time... I WAS UNAWARE THAT TOWING CARS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN A TRAILER PARK WAS AN ESSENTIAL JOB!!! Her excuse was (she threw Melissa the manager under the bus and ran her over and over and over again) that Kirkwoods manager told them there was absolutely no excuse that between certain hours to not tow a car in the street. So an ER ER visit is not a great reason. By god people please dont have an emergency where you have to put your car in the street so the ambulances can get close to your door. Nor in a hurry you jump in your car to get to the hospital behind the ambulance and did not have time to get all the cars in their spots because of your worry of your loved one. Nope absolutely no excuses she pointed out to me. Even tho I pointed out to her 1. America is under a State of Emergency 2. There is a no work order under the State of Emergency. 3 president signed for no evictions or start of evictions because you cant pay rent. 4 is going to pay 1200.00 to everyone for their bills when u get that is anyone's guess. 5. Their workers are targeting people that can't afford their private ticket. 6 keeping their workers employed and getting paid off of people that can not work... 7. Taking advantage of the pandemic situation to make more money. 9. Thinking they are considered necessary jobs. To a point they are needed for certain situations anythung that would involve any on accident or police. But taking advantage if a contract in a private mobile home community that removing the cars from is not necessary and will only draw out those that are taking the quarantine seriously also most are not working. Wow talk about many moral issues and real life issues with these people. And for the lady to tell me about what their contract says and that is more important than us poor people in the trailer park. She also did not care about a bad review. When I told her I would be reviewing them on every review site she snickered and told me I could go ahead that it would not hurt their business. ! read more
