REVISION: Michelle responded quickly to my one-star review and I want to change that to a four-star review, because everything I've read sounds like she's amazing and wonderful, and she responded to my complaint very quickly. I'm sure I'll give her that fifth star as soon as I get a chance to ride with her. Michelle, I apologize for being cranky. I was in a car accident a few months ago and have a herniated disc in my neck, and two pinched nerves with bulging discs in my back, plus I twisted my knee a couple of days ago on top of that. So I've been in a lot of pain and was really hurting and stressed out. This is going to be a long story, but I want you to understand there were some serious extenuating circumstances to my rude review. I was meeting some prior very special students of mine from Bakersfield, who I rarely get to see, and who had taken the train to visit me at the Renaissance Faire. They were only going to be here for a little while, as they were taking the train back home at 2:30 pm, so I was REALLY struggling to get ready to meet them (it's really hard to get dressed quickly when you're in all of this pain ). Then I tried to get in my car and I realized my knee had gotten so swollen I couldn't get it to bend enough to do that. So then I was really freaked out. I have a wonderful private driver I use now and then when my car is in the shop or I have to go to the train station, and I called him but he was on an out-of-town pick-up and couldn't get to me quickly. So I tried three more people and was really frustrated that no one answered their phone. Ticket is $15 round trip which includes your entrance fee. Yes, you do not have to pay the $15 entrance fee you would normally have to pay per person to get into the park. Winning!!! Note: I can't recall if there is an option to pay a fee for vehicle instead of per person. I selected Visalia Convention Center for my pickup and drop off zone. The shuttle pick up is the bus stop located on front of the Convention Center on E Acequia. There is a free parking in parking structure right across the street. We departed around 6:20AM and the drive was about 2 hours. There are plenty shuttles inside the park that takes you to all the main locations inside Sequoia. During the afternoon, there might be a long line to catch the shuttle but the shuttles come frequent enough that your wait time is not too long. Bonus, the shuttles are air conditioned and you don't have to deal with trying to fine parking. Overall, I really enjoyed my round trip using the Sequoia Shuttle from Visalia to the Sequoia and grateful for the free shuttle that runs inside the park.

We stayed at Secrets Resort, Maroma beach and we were spoiled every minute of the trip. The food was amazing, we loved the 24/7 room service, the drinks kept flowing, and the service from all of the staff was first class. The hotel really went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us during our stay. I am so grateful that Ashley helped us find something in our budget, that she answered my last minute texts so quickly the day we were heading to the airport for departure. I also like that the shuttle from and to the airport in Cancun was arranged as a part of our package so we weren't scrambling to figure that part out. The shuttle company that we used also had some great deals on excursions and we did one and it was a blast! Booking with Ashley is the way to go!

Unfortunately, this space is located at the very front of the park, which is on a very busy street. Traffic noise is constant but does diminish around 9 p.m. and is quiet overnight, only to start up by 6 a.m. the next morning. This is not the case for the rest of the spaces, which are set further back from the street and are quiet. This is a very nice RV park if you don't require a pull-through space. Other spaces are good-sized. There is a sparkling clean pool and laundry and bathrooms are well maintained. It is easy to maneuver around the park and there is good access to routes 99 and 198.
