Dr. Teixeira is a very gentle soul who has a way of making you feel that you have his complete attention during your appointment. He is obviously very knowledgable in his specialty, but what I love about his personal philosophy is that he does not try to perpetuate treatment. His goal is to get you self-sufficient with ergonomics, exercises, and new habits. That can't be said for other practitioners I've known in the past. They welcomed me with a listening ear and we began to work together. They provided a series of sessions with physical therapists that I found knowledgeable and helpful. My sessions were twice a week, one with stretching exercises and massage, the other in the pool. They also provided me with instruction and charts on exercises I could do on my own. I am not completely pain free but I have gained a great deal of mobility and that is fantastic. I would definitely encourage people to check out Head to Toe.
