Terrible experience. Had James. Not very personable. Didn't seem to care to take the time to know about me, why I was there, any history. When I tried asking a question, got a snarky response. I know I should have ended the session there and walked out but decided to give it a try anyway but curtailed where I wanted focus because of that. Massage itself was terrible. Has no concept of deep tissue even after explaining exactly how deep I can handle. I left barely feeling I even had a massage. I've had a few professional massages in the past and this was the best one I've received. My boyfriend and I went for a couple's massage to celebrate his birthday. Since we were both brand new clients to this business they offered a deeply discounted price of $130 total for a 90 minute couple's massage! All the staff we interacted with were very nice and professional. Our therapists were Jamie and Lindsey. I appreciated how both therapists chatted with us before our massage to see if there were any spots we wanted them to really work on. Jamie gives the deeper massages, my boyfriend had her and she worked on the knots in his back really well! Lindsey did amazing as well, although she wasn't physically able to go as deep, her elbows certainly worked my lower back out! Ashley Wood is the best massage therapist I have ever been to. I've been massaged at places all over the country, many times, and I have never encountered such a wonderful, intuitive, skillful person. I live in Brooklyn and look forward to my trips up to L/A a couple times a year to get completely annihilated by her magic. I've debated writing this review. But I think it needs to be seen. I used to have really great service here. But recently I've been discriminated against due to circumstances I cannot control. Which is not okay. I do not recommend this place anymore. Since they shut down I haven't been able to see anyone and my tension headaches have come back full force. I was told I was not allowed in due to extenuating circumstances out of my control.there are reasons a person is not able to wear a mask and they should not be denied any services because of it. That is NOT okay. A business should stand up for itself for the good of its patrons. Especially when this is not a law. Everyone has a different story. Things need to be taken into consideration. Since COVID customer service has gone the way of the dinosaurs and it's sad. If you can please give your money to a business that still proves itself on strong customer service and will go out of its way for every single costumer that walks through their door. read more

First time 1/19/18. A nice clean looking place. They were friendly on the phone when I was making making an appointment. I and they forgot to mention firmness desire of the massage to be had or offered for that matter. But my information sheet told them deep which they had before the appointment time. What I got was what I call a back rub for $49. Needless to say I am Not happy and I told them so on my way out before paying. I will not return. I told him 3 times during my appointment to go deeper and no change. Don't waste your hard earned money. read more

The massage therapists at Revelations Massage are top notch. They go above and beyond. I give only 2 stars because during my massage, on several occasions, my therapists have 'feared' using hot towels and stones when I didn't purchase ad-ons. One massage therapist conveyed during the massage that they were overworked, beyond acceptable massage hours. GREAT therapists, Great Hours, questionable practices....I'd better opt for a privately owned therapist so as to avoid these nasty things when you're trying to rest. read more

Therapists were amazing. I have had 2 sessions and I couldn't ask for better. I was surprised since the set up is similar to Massage Envy that I used to go to. My favorite person from Massage Envy even works there now. The customer service is top notch and there is no pushy sales speech like their competition.
