She won't force an adjustment if my muscles are too tight, instead she will massage them or try another approach. If I am a mess, she spends a lot of time, and she coaches me on stretches that reduce the need for visits. All good! Ellie is great on the front desk. Christine and Kevin have typically a 5 day wait, and there is no pressure for appointments you don't want or need. By my choice, I find that a visit monthly corrects those little things that otherwise grow and become real issues. Unfortunately, Dr. Corcoran not so much. Dr. Corcoran does not seem to understand what continuity of care means. Recently i had a experience where i was "mailed" a prescription that was never received. I contacted the office (Thank you Terry!) and decided to wait a couple of days to no avail. Contact the office again and was informed that My PCP was on vacation, explained my situation to Debbie (office "manager") and asked her to then have prescription mailed to work since they seem to always have a problem mailing me, although no one else is. After 1/2 day, she calls to inform me that they wont mail a new prescription because Corcoran is not "familiar" with me. Mind you these are not narcotics. When i again told them i have been off for a couple of days, Debbie' s response was "well, there is nothing I can do" i asked to have either Corcoran call me or i could call at a time most convenient and was told that was not happening either. I am sorry, but if you have my 10 years medical records to your disposition and you are that lazy to take a look since you are the MD of the practice and rather not be bothered by those pesky little things such as patient care, maybe is time to change profession.

The staff is always helpful and friendly. The facilities are spotless. The other perk is that there is never a long jaunt from the parking area into the hospital. The parking lot surrounds the hospital and you park your car less than 50 feet from the entrance. The breast health center even has pink ribbon reserved parking if you are coming for a check-up. A very nice touch. I have never used their emergency room facility or labor/delivery. I have visited a family member that delivered her daughter here. The maternity floor had a boutique hotel feel to it. The rooms were private and were comfortably appointed and tastefully furnished. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hospital to a friend or family member.

A month ago, my lower back pain was a mess. Nagging pain was affecting my daily quality of life…read more Then I found Dr. Belanger at the Center for Health in Wakefield. My daily pain is almost gone now. I don't have to see an orthopedic doctor, and I don't have to get an epidural shot. I no longer take muscle relaxers or 800 mg. of precipitation strength Motrin. After one or two more visits, I will see Dr. Belanger for a maintenance adjustment. I've been singing the praises of this chiropractor to a number of locals, and I will continue to do so. He has helped me tremendously. Walking and climbing stairs are no longer an issue for me. Dr. Belanger's receptionist was also able to fit me in the very day that I called. Dr. Belanger is also now the sole owner of this business. The office is conveniently located on Salt Pond Road (close to the Two Ten Oyster Bar and Grill. There is plenty of parking.
