After my surgery, I went straight to Arrowhead physical therapy. Everyone there was very professional and helped me tremendously get back my strength. I don't remember all the therapist names, but I worked with Amy the majority of the time. I am very thankful to Amy, she was very helpful with me gaining my strength back and having zero pain in my hip. I look forward to the near future having a double knee replacement and continuing my therapy here at Arrowhead. The only thing I had a hard time with, was getting through by phone. Their online tools for signing up and making an appointment need some work, and it sounds like they know it. They required an insurance card, but their system wouldn't let me add one. They asked me to schedule a time, which I did, only to find out days later they bumped me to another time for some unknown reason. They also told me I could not make an appointment without a referral from my primary, even though I told them I'd be paying out of pocket. BUT, I decided to keep my appointment, really needing some answers about a problem with my shoulder. Dr. Karim did not disappoint. He was kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. He answered all of my questions and I had a lot of them. Before Dr. Karim, I would have given this place 1 or 2 stars. Honestly, their wacky tools wasted a ton of my time and I don't like that. But Dr. Karim restored my confidence. If they ever get their online tools working, I'd be happy to give them a full FIVE STARS!

Even the doctor allowed a 15-minute grace period, which made visits stress-free. Because of that positive first experience, I chose to return here after my recent rotator cuff surgery. Unfortunately, my experience this time was completely different. The new front office receptionist is very rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. She was visibly bothered that she had to get up to ask the physician if he could still see me, even though I arrived within what used to be a 15-minute grace period. I was then informed that the policy has changed to 10 minutes, with no flexibility. Considering I'm recovering from shoulder surgery and it's difficult for me to get dressed and drive, I was hoping for a little understanding -- instead, I was turned away and had to drive back home. I made another appointment, but it was booked far out. I'm giving this place one more chance, but if things continue this way, I will not return. It's disappointing to see how drastically the office atmosphere and professionalism have changed. The front office sets the tone for the entire clinic -- and when that declines, it raises concerns about the rest of the care behind the scenes. Patients come here trusting they'll be treated with professionalism, respect, and compassion. I hope management looks into this, because the difference between my past and current experience is truly unfortunate.

My reason for coming here is therapy for a rotator cuff surgery. My pastor from church came here…read morefor the same reasons and gave me a very enthusiastic recommendation. I pushed for Kaiser to allow me to come here and am grateful it was approved. It was Halloween when I first arrived and was greeted by a "sour puss", "cereal killer", "candy wrapper", Dr. Pepper, and many others. I love humor, so felt this was a good first impression. Alan did my initial intake and evaluation and Melvin has been my primary therapist. Jose keeps an eye on things and there are another 3-4 therapists helping patients. I'm in my fourth week of therapy and every session has been very personal in my growth, areas to improve, and my at-home exercises. After I'm done, they offer coffee, "good" chocolates, and an ice pack. Being able to watch as the staff are helping others, it is very clear that they all care very, very much about us. They are focused on each person, modeling the exercises, having personal conversations while doing the stretching, and just making everyone feel comfortable and important. Coming here was a 5-star decision and can see why my pastor recommended coming here. I feel the same way. I'm looking forward to my next session of "torture" as I'm expecting a full recovery.

I was unable to walk for 2 months from a badly twisted ankle. In 1.5 sessions I was able to safely and comfortably walk again. From there, it was rehabbing nerve damage and strengthening my ankle and calf. Less than two months later I'm already almost back to 100%! Bummed I was injured but so grateful to get to heal here. Can't wait to be injured again (Jk!) But if you're ever in pain or have questions, this is the spot!
