In my first visit, he asked me why I was there, I explained I had severe knee pain and it felt very similar to what I experienced in my other knee, which was a meniscus tear. Out of nowhere he began to chastise me and question why I was even there since I seemed to already know what my issue was. I was thrown off from his unprofessional attitude and especially since I just met him. I let him know I was only responding to his initial question. Clearly he was irritated by something and probably having a bad day, but it was very unprofessional to take it out on a patient who is in real pain and seeking his care. I made sure to get out of that office right away. I had my follow up with him after my MRI, and sure enough, it confirmed I had a torn meniscus. As I mentioned, I just figured he was having a bad day on my first appointment so I went into this one with an open mind. Although he wasn't rude in this appointment, he showed little care and I would describe him as aloof, at best. After these two appointments, was clear I needed to find another doctor.

He wanted to work with them to handle my outpatient recovery b/c he didn't think there were rehab facilities suitable in my area. My only issue with him is the long waits in his office which was hard b/c I had to go to Redlands and that was hard on my crew but otherwise he was amazing. Wednesday morning I called the new referral authorization they said they did not have the authorization yet even though I gave them the number.
